I'm having an issue with the Skyrim SE. I'm on Xbox one and when I started the Dawnguard quests I found Serena took her to her castle and refused to be a vampire. After I refused I got banished from the castle like it's supposed to do. But once I was outside no new quest popped up or anything. I went and tried to speak to isran but no new dialogue came up. No vampires attacked the fort or anything. I tried restarting the game, walking out of the canyon and back in and nothing is working.


What do I need to do to start the quest "A New Order"

Weird. There seems to be more and more of these "rare bugs" cropping up on SSE.

By "restarting the game", you mean loading a save from before entering the castle? If not, try that.

Well [censored]. That's the second game-breaking bug I've read about today, both of which were already known on the UESP however. What next I wonder...

I suppose Erzherzoghan's advice might help however. Could be mods.

As annoying as this is, the only other option I see is to restart the entire quest. :/

Maybe try waiting 30 in game days maybe in a inn at Whiterun and then try again to see if you can get the quest active.

Do you have a game save before getting Serena. Sometimes guest glitches out and the flag is not completing correctly

Load a save from before you started it.
