John nodded and pushed the throttle forward, the vertibird increased it's power. And pressing a few more buttons the aircraft lifted, a slight jolt as it got caught in a crosswind. John spoke to Erin, "Should be a compass in the dashboard on your side, as well as certian over screens," John told her, "Keep your eyes on them, should be fine, but tell me if anything drastic happens."

"Let's get off this rust bucket then," Erin said.

She checked the dials one last time, everything seemed to be working alright, fuel was sufficient, and the weapons system seemed to work. The cockpit was more roomy than the passenger compartment behind her. She was glad she chose to sit up front. After flipping one last switch to bring the verti-bird to full power she gave Enfield a thumbs up.

"I'm ready whenever you are, Enfield," she said into the mic, the verti-bird's engines were getting louder, making the headsets necessary for the two pilots.

"This crazy scientist better be ready to kiss some ass." Travis drank down the rest of his Nuka-Cola. He looked for more paper in his pockets, but there wasn't any. "Anyone got a piece of paper?" Travis asked.

Travis decided nobody heard, but he had nothing better to do than write. He would need some paper. "Hey, I'm trying to write to a relative of mine, do you guys have any paper?" Travis asked. He asked anyone listening.

Without taking her eyes off the controls and screens Erin tossed the book to the back.

"Don't pull anything from the weapons system section, we may need those," she yelled over the engines.

She thought it was odd that the Verti-Bird was so loud in the cockpit, and quieter in the passenger area. Then she noticed all the windows in the cockpit. Sound bounced around much more in there. The passenger area was insulated and made so that orders could be heard inside that area.

Erin looked at the compass, it read South-West.

"Enfield, you're headed a little off course. Turn north a bit," Erin said into the headset.

Travis sat in silence waiting for the pilot to respond. While sitting in the quite comfortable seat, he could see through the window in the cockpit. On the horizon, on a large hill, there it stood. Old Olney. He'd never forget what he had seen.
"OH MY GOD!!"
"There's too many!"
The yells repeated through Travis' head. He couldn't ever go back there again.

He snapped out when the flying manual landed on his lap. "Oh, thanks."

"thanks for your contribution." the caps disappeared into his sleeve "want to go again?" three caps rolled back out of River's sleeve and dropped into his open palm.
