Volume I
Chapter 1

There was nothing odd about the day in the Ashlands. The sun shone brightly across the dusty planes after a day recovery from a small blight storm. The small encampment of the Urshilaku was quiet, for many of the men had left to go hunting and the women had began doing their daily work. A few ways away south from the camp on a small hill lay a young male dunmer. He was average Height for a dunmer and very slim. His face was lean with his nose a bit pointed outwards and gaunt. His chin rided round and equal with his lips wich were dry and cracked. His hair was black and long to halfway down his neck with slim bangs running down both sides of his face with highlights of red. His eyes were remarkably red and almost twinkled as he looked up into the blue sunny sky. A small breeze swept past him and he took in a deep breath to try and catch it and keep the cool moment for a little while longer.

"Veloth? Come, the hunters have arrived." A settling voice echoed through the air, as his mother called out to him. Veloth sighed grimly for he was quite comfortable at his spot. He Rolled over on his stomach and pushed himself to his feet and grabbed his bow wich was made of Chitin wrapped in white guar leather. The string was thin almost looked like it would break if it was fired another time, but it was strong, at the top and bottom of the string were white feathers tied to the string along with puffs of cotton.

He took a last look to the sky and began to the camp to meet with the hunters and skin their catches of the day. Apon arrival The ashkhan greeted him with a smile and a nod. Veloth smiled back then stopped in his tracks seeing a nix hound tied hanging from a post. He spat at the ground and pulled his dirk from his back sheath and started his work. With grace he skinned the Hound with precision making no mistakes. He moved the knife under the skin like an artist moved a paintbrush on his most passionate work. It only took him a half an hour to skin the hound and another whole hour to cut the limbs and meat. He took pride in his work but he was mainly moved when he explored.

The day went by quickly and soon the camp was filled with the smell of hound meat being cooked for the celebration of his twenty-fifth birthday. It was nothing special to him really. It was the start of his real life as a dunmer. Everyone was laughing and singing and dancing, Some of the tribal members played instruments and the Wise women was telling her prophecies to the young. Veloth was treated different then the others though, like royalty. He didn't figure why. He was no child of the Ashkhan, or any nobility. His father was an outlander his mother was a tribal mother. But he wouldn't draw bad attention. He was the best in combat, and marksmanship yes but what did they see in him?

"Why so grim young Veloth? This is your day, you should be happy." The Ashkhan asked him with a chuckle in his voice.

"Grim? Do I show it? No I'm happy, It's just.." Veloth was interrupted with a scream of one of the tribal women.

"Corprus beasts!" The ashkhan ran into his tent and veloth grabbed his Bow and picked up his quiver wich leaned on the post the hound he skinned hung from. He quickly slipped it on him and pulled an arrow and perched it perfectly on the bow. Soon a small group of Corprus beasts and sixth house sleepers appeared over the hill south of the camp. Veloth hesitated for a moment to fire. His mother was running away from the horde, she was the one screaming. Soon an Ash vampire struck her down with a simple spell. Seeing this brought rage to Veloth. He wanted to scream out but he couldn't. All he did was let loose the arrow which flew through the air making its impact in the beasts Forehead and piercing as much to the tip was sticking out of the other side of its head.

He quickly pulled out two more arrows perching them again perfectly next to one another but separated apart and again he let them go one hit one monster in the neck and the other flew past it and hit a sleeper in the chest. Soon the Ashkhan and his guard charged from the tent cluster at the beasts and Veloth pulled out his dirk and his silver dagger which sheathed on the side of his leg. It was an elegant blade, which belonged to his father. The blade was made of white silver and held glyphs written on the tip of the blade itself.

Along with the guards and the ashkhan Veloth ran towards the group Turning his dirk in a backwards position in his right hand and bringing his silver dagger to the side with it and made and upward spinning motion slicing into one of the disfigured beasts. The beast fell hard to the ground and soon with ending his spin his silver dagger stabbed into a sleepers chest falling him as well.

Soon the attackers were ceased and Veloth gazed across the desert like plain seeing an ash vampire running away. "One lives." He yelled out and started out in a sprint running the creature down before anyone could interject. He sheathed his blades to move much faster but it seemed the distance between him and the goul didn't come close to being closer. He forced himself to run faster but the ghoul turned behind a rock and Veloth slowed himself down and crept behind it as well but soon he was struck by a club and everything went black.

Tel Fyr Corprusarium

"Do not be afraid mortal. You will not die, it is not your time. This land is plagued and must be cured. But not by you, You have a future of adventure and glory. But your destiny here on Vvardenfell is not done. The Nerevarine rises, You will become the false incarnate, you have been stricken by desease, but have failed to challenge the sixth house alone. But your failiure is not a scar, but a path that will lead you to see the fall of the false ones. Your help with killing the traitor will come to pass and you will decide your strides after it is over. Go now mortal, Awaken."

Veloth saw Azura in her grace, in her world for the first time. As soon as her voice faded he felt pain and fear. He tried to breath but it was like something was pushing his chest to keep out the air. He wanted to move but his limbs were stiff. This only pushed him to try harder and soon his eyed shot open and he gasped for breath. He felt cold, weak like it was a curse upon him. He moved his head looking to both sides seeing a lofty room with a fire burning across the hall. This building was strange to him. Its architecture was nothing he had ever seen before. There was a vibrant soft sound echoing threw the rooms that calmed him abit. He pushed himself to a sitting position and motioned his right hand to feel the pain that pounded in his head. But as he looked apon his hand it was covered in blisters and the skin was pale. "Stricken...by desease?" He muttered as Azuras words bounced aroun in his head. "False incarnate?" He remembered the old prophesies the wise women spoken of while he was a child.

"Ah your awake, This is good." A booming voiced appeared at the doorway. Veloth Looked to the direction of the voice to see an old Dunmer wizard dressed in deadric armor. The man walked over to Veloth and braught a chair to the side of the bed.
"Where am I?" Veloth asked in curiousity and looked around the room.
"You are in the tower of Tel Fyr, I am Dvyth Fyr the proprioter."
"What is wrong with me?" There was a slight silence.
"You have been stricen with Corprus Desease. The Divine Desease."
"Divine? What is divine about this desease?" Dvyth took out a small stick.
"Open your mouth please... Ok, your eyes are white. Hmm.. Oh I am sorry, You see as the symptoms are catistrophic to a mortal they have good side effects. The desease gives you long life, You are immune to any desease, and it gives quite the resistance to magicka. But only slightly."
"Is there a cure?" Veloth yelled out staring grimmly at the old man.
"I have a potion. But Im afraid it could kill you, but what do you have to loose? It worked for one Patient who said something about becoming the Nerevarine. But sometimes Corprus victims get delusions."
"I would liek to take the potion. Please." Dvyth sighed. He got up from his chair and walked into the other room and came back holding a small vial of yellowish liquid.
"Ok, drink this. I have no gaurentees. It could kill you."

Veloth took the vial and spilled the liquid in his mouth and swallowed with hesitation. The potion tasted plain and the after taste tainted his tongue. soon he could feel a change. He looked at his hand and the blisters were fading away and his skin was becoming its original complexion. His strength was coming back and he no longer felt a chill. Dvyth watched with glazed eyes as he was struck by woner that the potion not only worked but it worked on TWO people. "Open your mouth again please.. Fastinating, You have no signs of the desease... Of course you still have it, but the symptons are gone. This is awkward, that man who came here and you the potion works, but when i use it on my other patients they die or get worse. Maybe its fate." He smiled and waved his hand in the air and a young dunmer female walked in. she wore Bonemold armor and had red hair. She braught Veloth some cloths.

"Your armor and wepons are threw the door and down the hall near the entrance into the corprusarium." She made a bow and turned and walked away.
"Now I must get back to my studies, Your way out is aswell beyond the door. First door on your left. or right if your walkign there from your equipment." Dvyth gave a last wave backed out of the room and floated upwards. Veloth put the black cloths on and then left the room and walked down the hallway an there on a table rested his chitin armor his bow and his dirk and dagger. He picked up his armor and examined it, it was different. A note lay on the same table with his name on it. He unfolded it and read it.

Veloth

I see Azura watches over you aswell False incarnate, I am the Nerevarine, you need not know my name. I have brought you gifts, new armor made of chitin but enchanted to increase your strength, Give you insight in swordsmastery, and to keep you hidden when the need arises. I have had your Dirk and dagger sharpened by the best blacksmith on the island and the dagger is enchanted to parylize and poison your target it cuts. Your bow has been given A very special gift. It is a remarkable bow. I was going to have it aswell enchanted but it seems it has an enchantment on its own. Very mysterious it is though, gives you light in darkness or maybe enhances your vision, and it allows you to focus your vision on a single target so you can shoot better. Remarkable. Bear these gifts well they will help you in your future.

Sincerely, the Nerevarine

Veloth looked up from the note at his equipment, it all glowed brightly and shined. He slipped his thumb on his dirks blade and it was indeed sharper then he could ever get it. He began putting on his armor. Strapping his Cuiras then his greaves and pauldrons. Then he slipped into his boots and then his gloves. The armor was whiter then regular. as if it was cleaned, but it was probably the enchantments that made it brighter. He strapped on his belt and then his dirk sheath wrapped from his left shoulder to his rightside attaching to the belt, the sheath perfectly on his lower back. The nhe strapped his daggers sheath on his left upper leg.

He then grabbed his quiver when he dropped the letter wich fell apon a curious coat. It was a light brown color and whe nhe picked it up it stretched down near his feet lifting only a few inches from the ground. He smiled and looked over his shoulder. "I hope no one minds if I barrow this." He put the coat on over his armor, it fit perfectly ofer his arms and figure. He then strapped on his quiver over it. He then grabbed his wepons and sheathed them all and fit the bow in the quiver with the arrows.

He looke dcuriously to his shoudlers. It was as if the coat was made to fit on the armor lie kit did. There were hoels which allowed the pauldrons to stick out. He knew this ws for him aswell but from who? The letter did not mention it. He shrugged then began his way out of the tower. Opening the door he saw a ship and a crew waiting at the tower dock. He turned around and glared at the tower in amazment. "Must be telvanni?" He said and smiled. He turned back around approaching the boat and walked up to the captain. "Would you and your crew mind giving me a ride to Vivec?" The captain looked at him.

"Ah your the one Dvyth told us to wait for. Yes we wouldn't mind your trip is on him. Come aboard. Its not much just a small sail boat. But it will get us to Vivec." They boarded the boat and soon they left the docks making their way to Vivec.

Vivec Docks

The sun had climbed the sky and now sunk only part of it shown over the mountains of the eastern regions of Vvardenfell. The boat had arrived at the Vivec Dock and Veloth climbed out and up the wooden planked stairs. As he stepped on the softgrassy ground he stopped and breathed in the Ascadian Isle' air. A brisk wind swept up from the south lifting the bottom of his coat and giving him a combfort of relaxation and happiness. He began to walk twards the silt strider when he heard mumbeling, like there was a struggle. It was distressing making him feel defencive. He turned around and walked twards the bridge leading to the Foreign Quarter and then he heard a breathless call for help. He grasped his dirk with his right hand a slowly walked around the bridge seeing a young Dunmer women being joked by a thug. a sence of justice spread threw him and he approached the two.

"Whats going on here?" He commanded.
"That would be none of your buiseness Commener go abotu your way, this ones been a bad lady." The thug pulled out a steel dagger and set it on her throat.
"H...help." the woman said again in another breathless voice.
"You will leave this woman alone!" VEloth said gripping his dirk tighter preparing for a fight.
"Are you threatening me?" He thug smiled and took his dagger from the ladies throaght and pushed her hard to the ground. "what are you going to do?"

With a fade of his smile the thug pushed forward in adashign leap to Veloth thrusting his dagger to his stomach. Veloth quickly moved out of the way and the man stumbled behind him. "Please humor me in what you qwill do to me You S'wit!" Veloth gave a smirk and the man turned to face him and slashed downward with his dagger and Veloth swiped out his dirk blocking the dagger a few inches from his chest. The dagger slid on the dirk making a grinding sound and then the man thrusted it again at Veloths chest this time the dirk blocked it with the dagger hitting it dead center. "Like I said, Humor me." Veloth smiled and the man chuckled then took out a second dagger with his free hand and sliced it upward, this time Veloth did the same but spinned to the aside holding the first dagger on his dirk and turning his silver dagger backwards and zstabbing the attacker in the back. The man stood in place for a few second then dropped liek a stone face first into the ground as Veloth puleld his dagegr from his back.

"I hate it when they are not a challenge." He said with an annoyed tone and sheathed his blades. The woman hadgotten to her feet taking in air breathing stressfully.
"Thank you sera. I owe you a debt greater then gold, and so does the temple." She gave a little wink.
"It was the least I could do miss..." He answered hinting her to give him her name.
"Sarvheti, Ellana Sarvheti." She smiled.
"Miss Sarvheti, Elana is a wonderfull name. You do not owe me anything. Helping a fine woman as yourself is thanks enough." Veloth smiled and turned away. "Oh, woudl you like an escort anywhere? Make sure your alright."
"That would be most kind sera, I was on my way to the temple canton when this fetcher decided to try and [censored] me and take any valuables i had."
"Ok, you lead the way Elana, Im afraid i have never been anywhere other then the grazelands and ashlands. This city is actually new to me."
"Would you liek a tour then?" She asked with an affectionate smile and high tone of voice.
"That would be nice, but Im afraid I won't be here long enough to.."
"But it is always good to know your way around if you ever came back." Veloth sighed, but the look in Erana' eyes made him feel idiotic to turn down the offer, she also made sence.
"Alright, I would love a tour of the city." He smiled and held out his hand to help her up the hill.

Elana took his hand with comfort and they both began there trip around the city. She took him to every canton and explained wich they were. Soon they arrived at Saint Olms canton andshe took him threw the waistworks, and the top level. After the tour was finished they came to the temple outside the Hall of wisdom. "I need to go to my quarters really quick and change from these gastly robes. Would you acompany me?" Her hand perched on the doors handle and Veloth gave a slight nod. She smiled and then pushed open the door and Veloth followed her down the hall to the living quarters. "I will be just a minute." She opened the room door and slipped inside closing it behind her and veloth leaned against the wall.

It had passed a minut, well several actually whe nfinally she came out of the room. Her face was cleaned up making a beautifull blueish complexio that matched her white silver outlined hair that lengthened to her back a bit passed her shoudlers. She wore an elegant outfit with golden shirt and skirt with shoes to match. Her cheeks were bright her face narrow her figure slim. Veloth looked at her with a gracefull feeling. "You look... Better." He smiled and looked down the hall. "Should you need an escort to the temple itself or wil you be alright?" She smiled breifly and gave Veloth a hug. "Yes I can make my own way. You have been generous to me, Not many people are these days." She held his hand and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and then walked away. "I hope to see you again, sometime. Maybe on better conditions." She said lastly then turned around the corner.

Veloth smiled and gave a hearty chuckle then looked down to his hand wich held a note.

Sera,

You are kind, and gentle. Thank you again for saving my life, I will make sure that if you ever visit Vivec, or the temple you will be treated with the upmost respect. You are a hero to me. I hope you would be humble to see me again, you forgot to mention your name and I would love to know it. Again thank you.

Love, Erana.

After reading the note Veloth smiled more and looked down the hall where Erana turned. "I will try," He whispered then began his journey back to the silt strider. It was a quicker journey through the city then it was getting to the temple, of course he wasn't making any stops. Soon he reached the Silt strider with enough tiem before it was leavign with other passengers. He walked up to the coordinatore of the beast. "Excuse me, where does this ride stop at?" Veloth askedbefore taking out a small pouch of gold from inside his coat. "Its stop is Balmora. If you want to go the trips is only fisfteen drakes." Veloth pulled out the exact number from the coin purse. "Than kyou I would liek to go there please." He placed the currency i the mans hand and boarded the large sattle. "Alright our stop is balmora, here we go, everyone please stay seated, I am not liable for dropping passengers.!" With the call yelled out the silt strider began moving and turning around and heading to balmora.

The rise was quite subtle. Veloth looked off to the side looking at the wonders of the Ascadian Isles region. The mushroom trees grew tall, the netchs were tame as they floated above the farms which bred them. Soon the village of Pelgiad was in view. Veloth marveled at the small quaint village and the imperial fort that nestled ontop of the hill over watching the town. He smiled and looked above into the sky, this time thinking of Erana. She was beautifull and a kind woman. Veloth had never met any dunmer woman even in his tribe, like her. Soon he was brought back to reality whe nthe silt master caleld off the stop at Balmora. "Here we are Balmora, everyone exit please and have a nice trip. Please use our strider service again any time. Same trip, same low price." Veloth was the first one off the sattle and stood on the platform looking over the city. It was small, with what looked like housing to the east section and then the market side to the west.

He walked down the flight of stairs and an argonian approached him. "You are a new face here in Balmora. Do you need directions of any, or does this prey know his way?" The argonian' voice was high pitched, clearly "she" Was female. Veloth looked around him and then answered. "Yes actually where is the closest inn?" He looked at the argonain and the argonian began to speak. "Well the closest is right behind me, the council club. Big Cammona Tong Bigrat inn. Very tuff. But since you are not an outlander it should be no problem to you." Veloth nodded and gave a slight wave and walked passed the argonian and enterd the council club.

The place was quiet with just whispers as Veloth entered. "Hello sera, You look new, You best not be an outlander or your nin here!" A dunmer male sitting next to the door said in a sour tone of voice. His hair was spiked and red and his cloths were black. "No im not an outlander, I just need a place to sleep and I'll be on my way." Veloth answered and started to walk down the stairs but was paused when the dunmer spoke. "Ah, well then you came to the right place. I don't recognize you, your not in the Cammona Tong, If you have the right skills we could use a new recruit." Veloth turned his head to the side his left eye fixed o nthe man. "I wil lgive it thought, thank you." He turned back ahead and began down the stairs. The bar was filled with Dunmer, and only Dunmer.

This wasn't a big suprise though, Veloth had heard of the Cammona tong. Even though secluded the tribes had ways of gettign imformation about the present of the cities and guilds. Veloth walked up to the bar and sat down. Soon a dunmer in common clothing light tanned matching came from the corner and greeted Veloth. "Hello sera, We have one room open it is nice and cozy, and we also have a special of roasted hound meat and flin if you like." Veloth pulled out his coin purse again, it was light and onyl held probaly fifty more drakes. "How much for both?" Veloth asked. The man looked at the coin purse. "Tell you what, you seem poor, I'll give you a discount, only cost you about ten Drakes for both. I see by your face yo uare an ashlamder, so a native to this land so I can give you the discount. Just don't tell anyone else I did so." The man winked and Veloth gave him the coins. "your meal will be right up, if you liek you can settle down in your room and you can eat there. It's just down this hall first door on theleft."

Veloth smiled. "Thank you, yes that would be nice. I need rest." He got up from the stool and headed to his room. It qwas a small decent room with a single bed a chest and closet. Enoguh to put his armor and wepons away for the night, He began to feel at home, removing his coat and then one by one took off his gear, His wepons he placed in the cest, except the bow which didn't fit, he placed it leaning against the wall near the back of the room by the bed. Then he took his armor and put it in the closet. He was releived after taking all the armor off, it was starting to get hot and he liked the cool air on his arms and shoulders. He sat down at teh tip of the bed looking around the room Again Erana' face flashed in his head. He couldn't stop thinking about her. Even though they met breifly only for a few hours of the day he felt careing for her.

After a few minuts the bar manager came into the room with a platter with Veloths meat and flin on it. "ther eyou go sera, Hot meal and a drink to make you comfortable. I hope you enjoy." Wit ha smile the man gave the plater to veloth and left the room closing the door behind him. Veloth started eating the meat using the fork and knife provided savoreing every bite of it. He loved hound meat, He could live off of it, well he did actually. That and guar meat, and sometimes scrib jelly if they were lucky to find scribs. Soon he was finished eating and he started to drin kthe flin. It was the first tiem he ever drank any alcoholic beverages, but this he likes. It had a sweet, natural fruity taste. He had about four sips of it whe nhe decided to keep the rest for his journey back to Vivec to see Erana again. Of course he missed his home with the Urshilaku, but he wanted to go out and travel the lands. He wanted a better life tha the knew he could have outside of the tribe.

He closed the bottle and placed it in the chest wit hhis wepon then put himself in bed and fel asleep. By dawn he would wake up and travel back to Vivec, and meet the girl who he began to admire, and who admired him aswell.

Chapter 2

Veloth stood looking around him. The grove was quaint and relaxing. In short and least to say, it was Beautifull. The grove was almost a perfect cirle, Trees of bright Vibrant Green color swaved in the gentle breeze, and flowers settled at their bases'. As he spinned around taking in the beauty of the surroundings he paused as his eyes caught a still altar on the edge of the grove almost attached to three large trees. Vines with sprouted purple and violete flowers nestled on them. The altar was a glowing white stone structure about waist High. On the sides a few inches from the edges where Strips of Silver which sparkeled, glinting from the sun light from above. A white cloth was setted neatly ofer the altar and apon the top settled a silver plater.

Sparked with curiosity Veloth appraoched the altar looking at the plater and when he got a few inches from it he was suprised to see nothing on it. He motioned his hands to pick up the plater and as they touched it a stream of water fell into the deep platter fillign it perfectly to the rim. Veloth looked dazzeled into the water and soon it Churned and twisted about in the center. Soon it flashed brightly making Veloth shelter his eyes with his arm. The glow faded and he dropped is arm looking into the water moving closer. Soon visions appeared. Fire, and death flashed before him showing the chared remains of the City of Vivec. The cantons burned and crumbled. There were many dead on the platforms and a evil mist settled its own place amongst the wrecked city.

Soon the flashes stopped on the Temple canton. Showing dead priests and ash Vampires mutterign over the corpses. And amongst the dead was Elana. Her complexion was dark and her eyes closed. She wore bright ordinator armor and weilded an ebony Scimitar that had been broken at the blade. Beside her corpse was a kneeling figure with a golden mask. As the vision fixed on this figure his face looked up, almost liek he was staring at Veloth. Soon his head was filled with fear and words.

"Serve Me my brother. The betrayed house. Nerevar had betrayed his friendship with me and for that He has only death as a gift. But you, you can help me stop him. Join my house, Become a brother and warcheif and take my gifts of my flesh and dreams. You will find it most pleasing. We will rid our home of the Outlanders and bring back the peace of our nation with the power of Lorkhans heart."

Veloth tried to yell out as he gripped his forehead in agonizing pain. He wanted to end this, dream? Yes it was a dream. More of a nightmare. He looked back into the water his head feeling like it was being bashed by a hammer over and over. He saw the heart with the nerevarine dead next to it. He now knew who the figure was. Was Dagoth Ur. He weilded Kargranaks Tools the hammer Sunder, and the dagger, Keening. More pain filled his head, he could feel his pulse pounding. His heart was beating faster and faster. Soon the words came back but in a deeper evil voice. "WE will have power!" Veloth was filled with rage and soon he forced himself to throw his fists into the platterhitting it hard. The altar cracked and the platter bent in half. The ground quaked under Veloths feet making him fall. He wanted out of this dream. He wanted it to end. The ground began to crack beneath him and soon, he fell into the large hole. He turned fallign backwards looking up at the light which faded quickly.

Veloth opened his eyes suddenly and sat up with a yell. He looked around the room which was lit by the single candle that sat ontop the nightstand next to the bed. His heart pounded violently and sweat rolled down his chest and face. He felt no more pain, just fear as he trembled. His arms shook slightly and his breathing was quick. He turned around to the side his legs hung off the bed and he bent over his elbows sittign apon his legs and his head in his hands. He tried to calm himself down. It was just a dream. Just a dream! He repeated several times. Soon he got to his feet and walked out of his room. The bartender was up and about behind the counter wiping up a couple of cups and pased whe nhe sighted Veloth.

"Why sera, you look liek you've seen death." He motioned his hand for Veloth to sit on a stool.
"I..It's nothing, just a bad dream." He sat down and the man poured some brandy into a glass.
"Here, its on me. By the looks of you, that dream must have been hoarse. this will help." Veloth grabbed the glass and drinked some of the brandy.
"Is it mourning?" He asked as he slowly set the glas down on the counter with both his hands wrapped around it.
"Yes actualy, almost dawn." Veloth nodded and took another drink. "Oh, I almost forgot. Sera, a man came by looking for you last night after you retired. You were asleep and I didn't want to wake you,. and neither did he. But he mentioned soemthing about meeting him in Vivec temple Canton. He sounded important. Just thoguht I'd let you know." Veloth looked up at the man and smiled.
"Thank you. " he gave one last sip at the brandy and got up from his seat. "Also thanks for the brandy." He said lastly then walked back to his room. He grabbed his shirt from the top of the chest and slipped it on then opened up the closest puttign on his gear. Laying his coat on the bed and then continued gettign hi wepons from the chest and strapping the belts on him.

When he was sure the dirk was in its place on his lower back he gave a nod slipped his dagger into its sheath on his leg then put on his coat and slipping on his quiver. Soon he left the building and instead of taking the silt strider he walked out of the front gate and proceeded twards Vivec, passing Moonmoth Fort and soon arriving in the ascadian isle' region. The plantlife and surroundings still facinated him. The mushroom trees where tall and the wild life was up and about doing there natural daily things. The sun had now climbed in veiw, it was about seven in the mourning and Veloth reached a bridge. He walked onwards and farms came into view along with the netches wich floated above them. He stopped at a sign post and proceeded in the direction of vivec.

The day was clear, and quite warm. Veloth had arrived at the Foreign quarter bridge meeting Elana. She was leaning against the wall her face facing to the side stareing off into the distance. Veloth smiled and then approached her. Apon his appraoch she looked forward at him and a smile appeared. She stayed in her spot wantign to run to him but she held the urge at bay. "I knew you would come, so I waited." She said in her soft voice. Veloth stopped about a foot away and crossed his arms.

"But what if I never came? You would be standing here forever." He said with a smart reply.
"That could have been a possibility yes, but your here now aren't you?" She smild childishly pushing herself off the wall and holding her hands together infront of her.
"Yes I am." He answered with a smirk. "You feeling better?" He asked seeing that she was but wanted to start a conversation.
"Yes, thank you." She eyed him and curled her lower lip in between her upper and lower teeth. "I want you to meet someone. He is liek a father to me, and a very close friend."
"Like your father?" Veloth asked curiously.
"Yes,.. My real parents died when I was just a girl." Her face fell the smile and she looked to the ground with sorrow.
"I am sorry, I didn't know." Veloth motioned closer.
"Nothing to be sorry for. How would have known?" She shook her head slightly. "I am sorry, the ywere close to me. Didn't mean to loose my happiness."
"It is alright Elana. I understand." Veloth took his left hand placing it under Elanas chin pulling her face back up. She smiled again playfully.
"Well lets not stand around here lets go meet him shall we?" She took Veloths hand and lead him back over the bridge and down the road a bit till they hit a small farm with vegetation and some netches where an elder looking Dunmer was knlet down picking Marshmarrow from the tall plants.

The man turned his head as he was placing the herb in a basket and he caught Elana and Veloth walkign up to him at the corner of his eye. He slowly got up from his position stretching his back. Elana let go of Veloths hand and hurried to the old man giving him a warm hug. "Oh, Elana. It has been awhile since we have seen eachother." The man said smiling. His eyes motioned to Veloth and he pulled away fom elana with happiness. "Oh, and who might this young man be?" Elana Paused, Veloth forgot to give her his name. She nodded to veloth telling him silently to give his name.

"Oh, I am Veloth, Veloth Dhisente." Veloth looked at elana with an apologetic expression.
"Ah. And how did you two come to meet eachother?" The man walked over to Veloth holding out his hand. Veloth took it in his and they shook hands.
"Well, I was coming back to Vivec from Ebonheart, and a thug threatened my life. Veloth saved me. Oh, Dharien he was heroic." The old man looked at Veloth with happiness.
"Well thank you my dear boy for saving her. I don't know what I would do if she were dead. She is the only family I have after her parents died." The man gave Veloth a hug and pulled away. "Come I have some tea beign made and some imported meat from Cyrodiil."

Dharien made a quick pace twards the door and Elana came to Veloth' side. Taking his hand again and holding on to his arm being close to him, they both walked into the house. Dharien shut the door behind them and hurried into the dining room wich held the fire place. And on a iron handeler hung a iron tea pot. Dharien grabbed a cloth using it to pick the tea pot off the stand and pouring it into a glass tea pot. Veloth moved towards him handeling the iron pot for him helping him pour the tea into its new container. "Thank you Veloth." dharien put the pot with the rest of the tea back on the stand then went to the cupboard and pulled out a round platter with cheese and a bowl of crackers. "Now, Veloth, Where do you come from?" Dharien asked while sitting down. Veloth hesitated for a moment thinking about the camp, his home. He missed the Ashkhan but he was happy to be somewhere new.

"Well, Truthfully, I am an ashlander. I coem from the Urshilaku tribe." He said with a low voice.
"Ah, And how is it you happened to be out in this area?" Dharien eyed Veloth with Curiousity.
"Well I wanted to leave and see the rest of the island. I wish to explore the other provinces as well." He wanted to leave out the part abotu him getting corprus desease and being the false incarnate that would help the Nerevarine kill Dagoth Ur.
"Ah, well its good to expand your horizons I guess. I have a history with the Urshilaku myself. My great grandfather was liek you. He traveled. But he died in blackmarsh several years ago. The rest of my family is spread out all over tamriel right now. Like I said, Elana is the only family i have as of right now." dharien poured tea into three small cups and passed one to elana and Veloth and cut himself a slice of cheese and grabbed a cracker.
"So how do you know Elana' Parents?" Veloth asked also with curiousity, sippign at his tea.
"Well its a long story, but shortly. I served as an Ordinator with her father for many years. I was made her Godfather. But saddly, her parents died only 5 years after she was born. I took her in and well, she is who she is now." Dharien put the slice of cheese on the cracker and bited into it. "So Elana how was Mournhold? Did you see amelexia? What was she like?" Elana giggled slightly.
"Dharien you never change." She cleared her throat and sipped at her tea. "Well yes actually I met her face to face, and she was beautifull like the stories tell." dharien smiled.
"And..and is it true she has special guard with enchanted armor?"
"Yes actually, the Her hands guardians. They are beautifull aswell. Their armor is hgih ordinator, white colored and it shines even on the darkest of days." Dharien now rested his head on his hand.
"Fascinating. I always wanted to see her and her guards. But whe nI resigned from the Guard that dream was shattered. My how I would be honored to serve the lady." He took another sip of his tea anf sliced himself another peice of cheese.
"So Elana what do you do?" Veloth jumped into the conversation being curious about elana more and more. Elana looked at him and smiled.
"I am a priestess to Vivec, and also a secret guardian. I wen't to mournhold because well, They were interested in me to become a high ordinator to the temple out here." She paused and then turned her head to Dharien who was eating his slice of cheese. "By the way did the package come?" dharien rolled his eyes upwards thinking and then jumped from his seat.
"Yes, yes it did." He looked at himself seeing his dirty cloths. "Oh and im sorry I'll need to go change out of these filthy cloths. And elana It was a crate its sittign in the basment my dear. You can go down and open it i haven't had the time to look in it." Dharien nodded and hurried upstairs.

Elana looked at Veloth and then twitched her head sideways and gettign up from her seat and opening the Basemant door and rushing downstairs. Veloth took one last sip of his tea then got up casualy and walked down following Elana. The basemant was unfinished, it seemed liek it was recently dugged in to make make besides the steps leading down into it. It was filled with wine racks and barrels along the walls, and a single beam stood in the center of the room holding up the ceiling. Next to it was a crate. Elana took off the top of the crate and looked inside and smiling. She ruffled threw its contents and pulled out peices of armor and then a scimitar made of eboy and shining blue. "Oh its beautifull." She gasped holding the Cuirass. It had a light andamantium briastplate with a white cloth with a gold trim around the botton. The briast plate was a shiny bronze color and shined brightly with some sort of enchantment. She rolled it up and tucked it under her and and them ruffled threw the rest pulling out matching pauldrons that were small but enough to fit over her shoudlers almost cupping them. Aswell they were a bright bronze and shined. "Um, Im going to try this on would you turn around?" Elana motioned her hand in a circle and veloth made a small sigh and smirked turning his back to her.

It was a few minutes when she gave a small caugh and Veloth tunred around. His eyes widened. The armor was beautifull. the briastplate had indeed a small skirt attached to it, and the pauldrons and legplates and boots all matched. Wit hthe shining, her beauty was also seen. Her white hair glowed with the armor and the bangs runing down the sides of her face made her look playful. Veloths jaw dropped slightly as he gazed at her wonderous beauty. "You look, fantastic." He couldn't find words to express her. She smield at him. "So then it looks good?" She asked in a low voice. Veloth nodded and opened his mouth. "It looks magical." He let loose a slight chuckle and a wide smile.

((Again you guys can comment if you want :)))

Elana looked at Veloth tilting her head again curling her lower lip and setting it between her teeth. Soon they both met eachother' eyes. Veloths heart pounded graciously. It almost swelled with happiness. He opened his mouth a bit to try and sday somethign but the moment silenced him. Elana slowly motioned closer to him. He stood in place still looking into her eyes. Soon she was only a few inches away from him. Her face close to his. "You are beautifull." He said with a slight passion. Elana gave a playful giggle and twitched her head to get hair out of her eye. "Thank you." she answered. Soon the sound of footsteps came from the stairs.

"Oh Elana you look bright!" dharien yelled over them. Elana bobbed her head and uncurled her lip and looked back up at Dharien.
"Thank you. It's my new outfit from amelexia herself." she backed away slowly from Veloth and then twirled around in a circle.

Dharien appraoched her laying his hand on her pauldrons. They felt warm to the touch and the vibrant glow emassed over his hand. Veloth tilted his head slightly his ears pointed to the doorway. He heard something and the sence of danger spread through him. "I am so proud of you my dear." Dharien complimented Elana and she looked at Veloth. Veloth squinted his eyes and focused his hearing and soon the bashign of the front door echoed and trampeling footsteps flooded upstairs. Veloth pulled out his bow along with a arrow held between his fingers and tilted it with profession to snap onto the string and he pulled it back. Soon black robed ash vampire appeared on the stairs giving a slight growl. "we are being attacked by the sixth house!" Veloth yelled out as he let the arrow go perfectly hittign the ghoul in the neck. It collapsed down the stairs giving a loud crack as its head smashed into the floor. "We have to get out of here now!" Veloth quickly turned his body throwing his hand to grasp elana' and leadign her quickly up the stairs with Dharien Following closely behind.

When they got threw the door Veloth let go of Elana' hand and pulled out another arrow perching it on the string and flinging it twards another ghoul hitting it in the chest throwing it backwards hittign the wall. "Elana Quickly i must give you something!" Dharien said leading Elana up the stairs Veloth this time following. Dharien through open his bedroom door and quickly headed to the large chest wich sat next to his bed. He opened it quickly and pulled out many scrolls and books tossing them to the side then found a small wrapped bundle. 'This was your mothers, i was supposed to give it to you when you got home. He unwrapped the bundle showing a bright gemmed amulet. He handed it to Elana and then walked over to his Cupboard swingign it open and pulling out his old sword from his service to the temple. Elana quickly clasped the amulet around her neck then gave a small gasp. "My sword its in the basemant." She quickly left the room runnign down the stairs.

"Protect her!" Dharien said to Veloth. Veloth shot a grim glance at the old man and as he looked at his face was shot back with sorrow. "I will meet you outside.. What ever happens, Take care of her!" after that Dharien sprinted out of the room Veloth close behind. Dharien exited through the front door. Veloth watched as he disappeared around the corner. Veloth then shook his head and rushed to the basment door. Elana was already rushing up strapping her belt with the sword sheathed. She paused as she looked up at Veloth. "Wheres Dharien?" Veloth looked behind him and slowly turned his head to her but soon the cries of pain echoed and Elana' Eyes widened. "No!" she squeezed passed Veloth and ran out the door seeing Dharien slain by an ash vampire.

Veloth stood in the doorway and had already an arrow perched and flung it at the ghoul hitting again in the neck. He stepped to Elana' side and grasped her arm. "There is nothign we can do, coem on!" He tuged her to follow but she hesitated starign blankly at her dead God fathers face. She then made up the strength to run behind Veloth twards Vivec. "You are good with a bow aswell?" She said with a yell. "Im also a ranger!" Veloth yelled back. Soo nthey stopped to see a large number of sixth house cultists running from the Vivec bridge away from Heavily armed Ordinators. But still there was a grouped battle near the Silt strider. Velothleft Elana' side to help take down the cultists. He nestled his bow into his quiver and took out his two blade making a leap behind a sleeper and digging th eblades into his back making him fall face first into the soil. Veloth pulled his bladess from the corpse and sliced another in the stomach and then twisted around like a dancer with passion in his move to stab his dagger into another stomach and sliced with the dirk.

The battle soon ended with only one ordinator dead but many cultist corpses lay on the ground. Veloth turned around seeing Elana stricking down a corprus beast slicing her scimitar threw its chest fallign it on its side. She turned to face Veloth her blade dripping of fresh blood. "You are also good with a blade." Veloth stated approachign her. "I am not without training." Veloth wanted to make a question but was interupted by a ordinators voice.

"Elana, There you are. we hoped you were alright." Veloth turned to the man. He was without the ordinator helmet but was equiped with the rest of the armor along with an ebony long sword. "We are sendign a group to chase down the invaders, hopefully they can end them." Elana nodded and the man walked away, his black long hair swaying in the wind. Veloth sheathed his blades and looked at elana who was nw stareing back at her God fathers house.

"Come on." Veloth grabbed her hand and lead her to the temple canton. Soon they entered the Hall of wisdom and approached her room door. Her blade was now sheathed and a splater of blood crossed her skirt. She leaned against the door with her back and tears began to emurge from her eyes. Veloth looked down to the ground, he didn't know what to do. He felt sarrow for Dhariens death. Yet he shed no tears. Soon Elana shuved herself into him giving a hug needing comfort. Veloth wrapped his arms around her. "I can't beleive he's gone." Her head was turned and her face was resting on Veloths soft chitin armor. Her tears now rolled down his briastplate. soon a tear sparked in Veloth' eyes. He remembered the old man mentioning relations with his people. The loss of a clan brother sunk into Veloth' head and soon tears ran down his face. But he did well to hold himself together. But also elana' saddness caught him. "It is alright, There was nothing we could do." He softly said.

"Will you stay with me?" Veloth was struck by suprise in his face. "I don't want to be alone." Veloth gave thought to her words. But he understood. She lost the closest thing to family she had.
"Alright." He answered. Elanas grip loosened and she stepped backwards leaning again against the door.
"You.. are, kind." Is all she could say to him at the time. She looked to the side then back up at veloth' eyes and slowly came closer to him. Soon her face was close to his. Veloth naturally moved his closer and soon their lips met.

His arms wrapped around her waist and hers around his back. They were in their own little world for a brief minute and elana then took her left hand and felt the door for its handle and then pushed it open luring them both inside the room and turnign them around she shut it.

Vivec' Palace

"I have sent word for the Nerevarine my lord Vivec." A slim dunmer knelt down on the floor his head looking apon the marble in elegant yelllow robes spoke elegantly to the Godlike Lord.
"That is good Arch canon. What news on the attackers?" Vivec asked peacefully as he floated in mid air legs crossed in a sittign position.
"Or ordinators have kiled them successfully and the fleeing are reported slain." The arch canon answered now rising to his feet. His hair was short with red streaks his face gaunt with scars apon his nose.
"We must hold our borders, if the Sixth house are not held at bay then vvardenfell falls." Vivec said now out of his sitting poster and standing on the ground.
"Yes my lord, The ordinators and byont Armigers are doing the best they can. " Vivec appraoched the man and placed his hand on his shoulder. "I am sure the yare." He gave a small smile and then walked away to the back of the room.
"Anything else my lord?" Vivec paused and then turned slightly.
"Yes actually, I have seen a man, in visions. He is the false incarnate but one who can help us. He is an ashlander, I beleive his name is Veloth. Send word out that I am looking for him aswell."
"A false incarnate my lord?" The arch canon asked confused.
"Yes, He will help the Nerevarine. Or maybe he can help us at the ghostfence."
"Very well my lord. I will spread word out threw the ordinators and the people that you are looking for this man."
"Thank you Arch canon you are dismissed." Vivec gave a wave of his hand to the man and the Arch canon left the palace.

Vivec stood there looking at the papers he had prepared for the reincarnate of his long dead friend and brother. He felt after all these years guilt. He wanted to make up for everything he had done. But how could he? He looked to the side in the corner lay a chest. He walked towards it and opened it revealing a strange device. It had a crystal globe with claw like structures spireing around it. He picked it up and smiled. "I think this would be apology enough." He muttered to himself and then placed his right hand on the globe and an massive glow appeared from it. Soon he felt weak, he felt mortal. His powers now faded slowly. He placed the device in the chest and sealed it once more and went back to the center of the room levitated and meditated untill the Nerevarien arrived.

Hall of wisdom, General Quarters

The sun had climbed the sky almost midway. Veloth had woken up in bed beside Elana who was still asleep. He Removed her arm which rested on his chest and slipped out of bed. The memory of Dharien being slain was branded into his mind. Soon a nock came from the door. "Elana?" The voice was loud and woke Elana herself up. She jumped to a sitting positionand quickly looked at Veloth. "Hide next to the Cupboard." She whispered and Veloth pushed himself against the wall in the small corner by the cupboard wich sat next to the door. "Yes? Im awake. What is it?" Elana yelled out and the voice on the otherside of the door replied. "The archanon whants to see you. He said it was urgent." Elana jumped out of bed and rushed to her dresser. "Alright I'll be there in a few minutes i have to get ready." She pulled out a white dress and slipped it on. She then took a comb and brushed her hair.

"Well don't just stand there get dressed." She muttered to Veloth and veloth quickly grabbed his cloth and sliped into them in a hurry.
"Whered you put my coat?" He asked silently.
"I don't know."
"What? You through it!" Elana looked at him.
"Well I didn't notice were I tossed it My attention was on you!" Veloth grinned and looked under the bed then next to the dresser.
"UH, Vel," She caleld to him after spotting his coat right where he was standing. "It's right there." Veloth looked at the corner and then picked up the coat and tossed it on the Bed.
"Wheres my armor?" He also asked and elana pointed at the Cupboard. Soon another knock came and veloth shuved himself into the corner again.
"Yes?" Elana called out and the door opened and another Dunmer female walked in.
"You havent seen anyone.. new to the city have you elana?" Elana smiled.
"Why?" She tilted her head slightly as she brushed the side of her head.
"Well Vivec is searching for a man named Veloth.. He is apperantly an ashlander who was here sometime." Elana glared at the woman with a pale expression.
"Well if I do see this man, uh, I will let him know." The woman nodded.
"Ok.. Well I guess see you at the temple then." She left the room closing the door behind her.

Elana stared at Veloth blankly and put the comb on the dresser and closed the drawr. Veloth shrugged in confusion and stepped away from the corner. "Well I guess your going with me then. Since Vivec is looking for you." She grabbed a silver sash and tied it around her waist and then opened the door. "Don't worry about your armor right now you can get it later." Veloth sighed slightly and walked out the door after grabbing his coat and slipping it on. He had atleast found his silver dagger under it and he attached the sheath to his leg buckeling the straps and then walking with Elana. They walked down the hall and came out of the north door. It was lightly raining outside with dark clouds overhead. Elana tugged on his arm to get him walking and he followed. He looked ahead and a robed figure caught his eye. The figure seemed to be looking at him aswell. As they passed it looked as if the figure bowed its head to Veloth. Veloth looked back in confusion but the figure disappeared into a crowd of priests and ordinators.

Soon they entered the temple threw the eastern Door and Elana approached the Arch canon's office door and turned to Veloth. "Ok, We came in at the same time alright?" She said and Veloth nodded looking around. The ordinators watched him. Elana opened the door and casualy walked in. "You asked for me Arch canon?" She asked and Veloth walked in.
"Ah Elana, Yes I did. In lightening events I am transfering you to Ghost gate. The nerevarine is going to red mountain to end this once and for all and we need all available hands on the line to give him enough time to get the ancient artifacts and destroy Dagoth Ur." He looked up and then saw Veloth. "Who are you?" He stood up.
"Oh this is the man Vivec was looking for. Veloth?" elana quickly answered. The arch canon approached Veloth.
"Ah, It is fortunate you met him then. You sera, might be going with her then." Veloth stared at the man and then remembered the words of Azura. "Elana can you show him first to the palace. Im sure we don't want to keep our lord waiting."
"Yes, we will quickly get there." Elana looked at Veloth and motioned for him to follow her.she opened the door again and they left the office leaving the Arch canon alone. Soon the yreached the high steps of the palace and elana stopped and turned to Veloth. "Anythign you want to tell me before you go in there?" She asked crossing her arms. Veloth looked at her with confusion.
"Tal kabout?" He raised an eybrow.
"Well Vivec is looking for you, so you obviously been here before." Veloth opened his mouth to speak but Elana spoke again. "You lied to me didn't you? your not an ashlander are you?" veloth kept his mouth open trying to say she was wrogn but some reason he knew she would get smacked in the face with truth when they got inside the palace.
"Lets just get in there please, I assure you I don;t know why he called for me." Veloth half lied to her. He knew this would come but so soon? Elana shook her head then lead the way up the stairs and they reached the door to Vivec' palace.

Elana had entered the palace and Veloth stood in the doorway marveling at the large room and the Lord Vivec Himself floating in the center of the room. "Come in Veloth." Vivecs soft voice echoed through out the large room. Veloth stepped inside and closed the door behind him. The place was not what he expected. Just a large dome like room with a pedestool in the center with four pillars around it. There Vivec stood in mid air. "I have seen you in dreams and in visions Ashlander. Do not mind the Poorness of my chamber please join me." Vivec had set down on the floor stepping from his small stage and stoping after the last step. Veloth walked over slowly watching Vivec. "Why did you want to see me?" Veloth shook out the wonder in his head.

"I have seen you, as I said, You are tied to the fate of the Nerevarine, false incarnate." Vivec examined Veloth with interest of a living false incarnate. Elana stood Behind Veloth her eyes widened. Guilt ran through her, wanting to apologize for blowing up at him outside.
"You never said.." The words slipped her tongue and she quickly closed her mouth. Veloth turned around Vivec also looking at her.
"You do not need to hide your words here Elana, I know about the two of you. As I have also seen it." Elana blushed faintly and Veloth sighed.
"I wanted too, but who would beleive a lone ashlander, that he had goten corprus had it cured and had Azura guiding him?" His attention went back to Vivec.
"I know I am to help the reincarnate destroy dagoth Ur. I would be glad to fight by his side, For the Lord Ur is one of the greatest enemies of my people." Veloth knelt before Vivec.
"My dear boy, there is no need to kneel before a false god, who is saddly loosing his powers." Vivec took hold of Veloths shoulder pulling up to his feet. "Your not fighting with him exactly, however you will be with Elana at the ghost gate. Sixth house beasts and cultist form a small army to spread across Vvardenfell and I need you two to help the cause to fight them back, and Give the Nerevarine a chance and time." Vivec turned to walk back to his stage. "I have sent word to the ordinators And boyant Armigers, that you two will arrive and you two will command the defence. And Veloth you will know when to take your path to red mountain, You will know what to do when you arrive in the chamber of the heart." Vivec floated once more crossing his legs to meditate. "Go now and may Azura guide you 'till your end." Vivec gave a nod and Elana and Veloth exited the palace.

Veloth was silent as they walked down the long stairs. Elana wanted to make words to apologise but she couldn't find them. Once they reached the bottom Veloth stopped and grabbed her hand. "You don't have to be sorry. You were confused I understand that." He said giving a friendly smile. Elana looked up at him and felt a breeze of releif. "Thank you." She smiled and then walked away back to the living quarters. "Best get our armor and wepons we leave as soon as we are able." She had reached the back entrance and opened the door and waited for Veloth to follow. Veloth inhaled and began walking forward. Soon they reached her room and when she opened the door Veloths armor was on a display dummy along with his wepons, a small divider stretched a ways across the room and behind it was her equipment. She walked behind the divider and Veloth approached his Armor. It was glowing brighter. the surface of it was like Glass and to the touch the glowing haze crept over his hand. He took off his coat and slowly placed on his armor, first the cuirass. He slipped it over his head and then buckled the straps on the sides making them tight enough for it not to move. Then he took the Greaves and slipped into them tightening the sides aswell and taking straps from the very top at his waist and attaching them to loops under the Cuirass. After that it was easy putting on his Pauldros attachig them aswell to he Curais then the gauntlets and lastly the boots.

He had strapped his belts and sheths to their places and put away his blades. After finished he slipped his coat back on and sashed on his quiver with the bow already in its place. After a few adjustment he turned around seeing the divider pressed against the back wall and Elana standing there in her armor with her Scimitar sheathed at her left side. Veloth gave a slight nodd and they exited the room and made their way to the silt strider. Elana lowered her eyes to the ground and gave a small sigh. "You do not have to stay with us at the defence im sure we can handle it." Her voice was low. Veloth looked at her and then smiled. "I really have to. I gave my word, to protect you." Elana looked up to him with saddened eyes. "Your word?" Veloth lowerd his head. "Dharien told me to protect you, to take care of you. I intend to keep my promise to him." Veloth still had that nght burned into his memory.

Elana attempted to smile but instead took his arm and cozied herself with it giving it a slight hug. "Thank you. For your kindness and care." Veloth looked at her and smiled.
"You deserve such attention and care. You, such a high standard in your world, and treat such a low life like me with the respect of a noble. It is I that should thank you for your hospitality." Elana felt glad by his words. They were somewhat true. Not many people in her position would ever look at someone like Veloth unless he had fame.

They soon reached the silt strider but with no master but an ordinator. "We have taken up this strider for our transportation to the ghost gate. You are the last two to go."
The man said helping elanainto the sattle and Veloth step in behind her. Soon the Ordinator sat at the coordinator seat and soon the strider began its motion. Elana was now awake and filled with some pride atleast. She looked at the ordinator and cleared her throat. "So what are we dealing with? How would we go about makign our best Defence?" She asked in a superior tone of voice.

"We have many footmen and just a small number of Archers that will be statined in the towers. The boyant Armigers have their spell casters and conjurers aswell as battlemages. The Defence is not much but should be enough to hold the Sixth house at bay untill Ur is dead." Elana nodded at his words and looked to Veloth.
"I need you to command the Boyant Armigers and lead the first wave of counter Offencive, soon as we get their we can see what the best counter would be and the situaton on the attackers." Veloth gave a small nod insuring he had understood then looked back to the side. Soon they had arrived outside of the Gate. The ghost fence had lost its power no longer a magical barrier was there.

They exited off the strider and Elana lead Veloth to the inside of the gate. On the other side nestled two seperate lines. The left was Boyant Armigers, the right was Ordinators. In the top of the towers were archers, about five or six, Veloth couldn't keep count. The the center of the divided lines where a armiger and an ordinator waitign for Elana. Both [censored]ed her with respect. "What is the situation captains?" she asked again in a superior tone. The armiger turned his head and pointed at two roads. "The sixth house are using both passages to make assaults on us. We need to make a defencive with the Ordinatora and armigers but make a small group to go behind enemy lines to halt their attacks." The ordinator nodded and elana examined both roads.

"Alright lets set it up. Battle mages and foot men in the front, Cunjerers in the mid field, and the mages in the back. We wil luse the archers to make their assault when the enemy is in arrow distance." She turned to Veloth. "Veloth will take command of the armigers, for now. When the time comes we both will join your task force and move in on the enemies positions before the second wave."
"Very good m'lady." The ordinator said in agreement.
"Alright lets get it formed up. Remember we are all working together, we are all allies." The two captains turned away and began forming the ranks. Elana approached Veloth. "If anythign happenes to me, Veloth. I want you to be happy." Veloth looked at her.
"Nothing will happen to you. I wont let anythign happen." Veloth made a serious tone but allowing Elana to give a smile of comfort.

"Soon they parted Elana taking her place on her side and Veloth readying himself with the armiger. The time was quiet sideing the muttering in the defencive ranks. A wind had picked up, making Veloths caot flutter behind him as the wind passed by. but there was something i nthe wind. Soemthing evil. But there was no blight storm just the wind. Veloth looked down the left road his vision focusing almost zooming itself in. Soon he saw an approaching horde. He took out his bow along with an arrow giving the archers a signal to ready themselvs. They all equiped their arrows pulling them back on the strings. They watched Veloth to fire first then they would folow in a fire at will untill the ywere out of arrows. The horde was now in view of the defencive line and the soldiers readied themselvs. Veloth focused himself and finally caught hi target. A single ash vampire leading the attacking line. They went into a charge but Veloth waited. He pushed his finger on the tip of the arrows and moved his right hand to grab another arrow slipping into poisition keeping his eyes fixed on his target. Repositioning his hanf he shot the arrows. It was as if things went into slow motion. Teh arrows made their way to the horde one just ahead of the other. Finally it hit the ghoul making it fly backwards and the last arrow flew over it hitting a sleeper.

Soon everythign speed up and the archers made their voley on the oncoming attack falling many enemies in a single wave. Veloth ready another arrow and started to shoto one after another hitting his targets with perfection. Soon his quiver was empty and the attackers came very close. He threw his bow to the side it landing on a boulder and then threw off his caot quiver with it. Taking hold of his blades and put his dirk in its backward position and keepign the dagger faced right up in his hand. The soldiers took hold to their wepns aswell the mages readygn their magicka. soon elanaforced her scimitar foward and flashes of Fireballs, lightning and ice speed from the defencive hitting the front line of the enemy and after just a flash of a second both lines met Veloth spinning his dirk to the left slicing into a cultist and stabbing a corprus beast. The daggers enchantment made a flash after every slice, every impact it flashede a bright green. soon a wave of poisonous bolts from sleepers and lightning from slaves hit many defenders. another volley of arrows from the towers appeared and took out what they could hit.

Elana had fallen many foes aswell her scimitar flashing blue every hit and ever enemy that was just cut had frozen in a icicle doom and shattered when hit again. She had passion in her form, slicing upwards with a spin and finishing off with a side swipe and her thrusts were powerfull. Soon the first wave had been successfully destroyed no enemy survivors. But many dead Defenders lay beside the sixth house corpses.

When you post chapters so fast it's going to be hard to get comments.

When you post chapters so fast it's going to be hard to get comments.

What they said.

People are probably overwhelmed with how fast the chapters are coming, and don't want to read a dozen posts to catch up to the story at its present point. Try waiting a day or so in between chapters, so that more people can come and read that chapter.

I know you probably want to get the story out there though. But waiting will give you a chance to maybe re-read your chapters, and give the readers a chance to stay with the story. :)

Try writing in a word document if your worried about forgetting your ideas. Then you can just copy and paste your saved (and edited!!) work, without pumping out a post a minute. :P

((KK back to the story then :)))

The ground was stained with blood and the numbers of the defense only dropped slightly. Veloth looked amongst the dead and started to move them off of the front line to somewhere, were they would not be a problem. Elana sheathed her sword and began healing the wounded with magicka, those unable to fight had been sent inside the Tower of Dusk to be treated properly, but mostly many injured had minor injuries that could be healed Via magic. After the dead were cleared Veloth walked up the left road scavenging any arrows He found. With success he had filled his quiver to its capacity and slipped his bow on his shoulder angling across his back. Soon the ground began to quake and the great mountain rumbled spitting fire into the sky.

"Mistress the first wave is complete we need the task force to get behind enemy lines before the second wave appears." The Boyant captain yelled out. Elana gave a hoarse sigh and nodded. The armiger had grouepd together Ordinators and armigers alike forming a small group of eight soldiers. "These are the best fighters we have here. But they will follow your orders!"
"Alright, Get any equipment you think you may need before we leave, Scrolls potions. Anything to keep you alive and fighting. Veloth!" She turned her head to Veloth who was already at her side. He gave a nod and held his dirk cleaning the blood from its blade with a cloth. "We leave in five minutes, Hurry and supply yourself." She turned to the captain and nodded. "Keep the Defense in its place and make sure you don't fall behind the gate. If we loose this then we have failed and it will be up to the Nerevarine to deal with everything." He gave a bow and walked off to reorganize the line.
"When it looks clear I need to make my way into the citadel." Veloth said now sheathing his dirk. Elana gave him a saddened stare then nodded.

The small group had returned. Elana had stood there for a brief moment overlooking them and gave a sigh. "Fight at your best. Look at the person next to you, it is a good possibility he or she won't be there after this. Watch each other' backs. If you suffer almost fatal injuries tap out and rest yourself, soon as your healed then quickly get back into the fight. I am hoping we don't have to loose anyone." The group gave a brief "Yes ma'am" indicating they had understood the plan. Soon Elana turned around and started her way up the left flank followed by Veloth and soon the small task force.

They had walked for several minutes finally turning around a bend and seeing the pathway to Ur' citadel and in a small cove was the Sixth House encampment. Veloth had rushed forward jumping atop a boulder keeping low as to avoid to be seen. He counted the numbers which had stayed behind and to his right he saw the second and final wave of Sixth house forces. His eyes widened as they were many, more for him to keep count. More then the first. He brought his attention back on the encampment. The small cluster of tents and altars gave almost the best suprise attack plan.

As he was certain in his information he slid down the boulder and approached Elana. "There are many, a couple dozen against us. The second wave has already left. Their numbers are grave, bigger then the first wave." He paused and looked down the road. "I hope they are strong enough to hold it at bay." Elana had looked up at Veloth and gave a sigh.
"What is the best action to take here?"
"The tent cluster faces our favor. We can give a good surprise attack, catch them off guard for a few minutes, after that its hard fighting Till they are all either dead or retreating to the now marching attack." He looked at the small task force. "It would be wise to kill everything so we don't have to deal with reinforcements." Elana looked to the ground in thought and then at the top of the road where the camp settled.
"Then lets get to it!" She unsheathed her scimitar followed briefly by the following men. She looked up to Veloth and nodded giving him approval to go ahead and start the attack. After he killed one the fight would begin.

Veloth had taken his bow to his left hand and ran stealthily up the road keeping low and as silent as he could be. Soon he came upon a larg tent which had been placed blocking the view of the road. He stopped and took a few steps around to the right peeking his head around it. He viewed the "would be Reinforcement" for the last wave to the Ghost gate. He then glanced back behind seeing Elana and the task force taking up spots behind anything that would hide them from sight. Three went behind a stone altar, two behind a small tent, Elana and three others behind a similar large tent. Veloth gave a slight nod to Elana and reached his right hand to his quiver. He peeked around the tent again picking out his targets. It was sketchy, a group of Ash vampires sat clustered near a statue, Sleepers and dreamers clustered together and walking around.

He then picked out his targets. A sleeper and Dreamer where walking with each other, one in front of the other and they were passing the ash vampires. He felt his arrows with his fingers pulling out three. This would be the very first time shooting over two at once. And it took him years to perfect the multiple shots. He tilted the bow sideways his hand underneath it. He would have to use his forearm to keep the arrows from sticking together. When they were in place perfectly he raised his arm to eye level, bending his head down a bit to aim. He waited. Doubts going threw his head, the rush of adrenalin now pulsing threw him.

Sweat started rolling down his face as he waited. The perfect shot this would have to be. He had to raise their chances of surviving no matter how little. The targets became closer and closer. Soon the time had come. Veloth made no hesitation. He tilted the bow back up and let go of the string. The arrows spread out as they left him like he wanted them too. Right when the two walking came inline with the one ash vampire they were hit suddenly the ghoul in the back of the head, the sleeper and dreamer in the neck.

There was a brief moment of confusion within the ranks of the Sixth house campers. They looked at the three now dead then up at Veloth who now walked slowly towards them his Dirk and Dagger drawn holding them at his side his head tilted down looking at the ground. Soon they all shrugged off their confusion and started charging to avenge their dead. Veloth had stoped walking and when a Dreamer had swung his club at him Veloth moved to the side pulling up his dagger grabbing the dreamer by the throat throwing him to the ground and spinned the dagger on the palm of his hand graspign it again as the blade pointed downward and stabbed down into the foes chest.

A ash vampire had sent a ball of poison speeding at Veloth but veloth had ducked his head and it closely passed over him. He got up replacing his dagger upwards and turning his dirk in its position backwards and the battle began. Elana and the task force had rushed from their spots charging into their picked out enemies and the Foes where overwhelmed with suprise. They attempted to organize but with more and more dieing they couldn't organize instead fight back brutaly. Veloth had another dreamer at bay. As he charged Veloth with a spear Veloth slived his dirk on the wooden staff cutting the iron head off and then taking the dreamers head in his arm his dirk at his throat. Spinnign the Dreamer his neck made a nasty crack and the dirk slit his throat open leaving him spinning sideways to the ground.

They had cut down many foes now leaving the odds equal in numbers. But something Veloth did not expect happened. From the last path to the Citidel men in armor weilding actual wepons had been marchign down the slope seeing the fight at the camp they began a defensive charge. Veloth had finished with an ash vampire stabbing both his blades into its sides and then quickly sheathed them and took out his bow. He had no time to perch more then one arrow instead he let loose one arrow at a time.
each peircing the reinforcment armor and some hittign in the weak points under the arms or at the neck. "Veloth we need to fall back!" Elana yelled after fallign the last Cultist and seeing the oncoming defense. Veloth hesitated to follow her words but after he let go of his last arrow he set his bow in the quiver and began to scurry backwards.

The group had now began to run away untill they saw the Ghost gate Defense pushing the attacking Cultists to the camp. It seemed the attackers were fleeing. Veloth saw this as a sign of opertunity and took out his blades again slashing down any fleeing cultists he could possibly take down as they passed. Soon the soldiers had reached the groups positions and Veloth found the Captain of th Armigers. "Thank Almsivi you came at the right time. We have armored troops that need to be taken care of." The armiger looked up at the approaching enemies and nodded. "We will deal with this!" Soon again the mountain rumbeled shaking the ground most violantly. It made the enemies and even the allies fall. Veloth had gained balance and stared up at the mountains mouth. fire spat out into the sky as fire rocks wich now fell crashing into the ground.

Many of the now halted armored troops had fallen victims to the fire storm and so did the defensive allies. Many were lost, as the fire rocks hit the ground and exploded with heat blasts. Veloth knew this was his chance. The Armigers and Ordinators could handel themselvs. Veloth started running up the path. Puttign both his blades in backwards positions as he ran across the quaking slopes. Over a hil he saw the Citadel entrance unguarded, sixth house corpses. He ran again down the steppe hill and reaching the open Dwemer door. He made his way in keeping a fast pace through the halls. His path was open, the same the nerevarine had taken through the dark hellish hallways and rooms.

He now had arrived in a cavern like entry with the side door blown out by pressure. He approached cautiously seeing the chamber of the heart. The chamber was hot and shook more violently then it was outside. He walked forward trying to keep on his feet but the shaking was too much and made him fall his head peeking over the edge of the platform. The heart was still beatign but soon an arm with the a gleaming Dagger had struck the heart making it cripple and dissapear. It was the nerevarine. He had fell unconcious after striking the heart and Dagoth Ur stood over him with a dagger of his own. But with the heart now dead he paniced and the lava beneath them had began to rise. Dagoth had dropped the dagger and began to sprint upwards along the wall stair. Behind him the stairs crumbeled eventually catchign him and he plundered to the rising lava.

Veloth got to his feet as the quaking became less and he kept his balance. He looked down at the Nerevarine but he didn't move. It was useless to try and save him. The stairs were now gone and there was no possible way other then to jump down. Soon a cry for his name came from the doorway. It was Elana, she had followed him into the Citadel. Veloth was stuck in his position but was forced to move back when elana grabbed him by the arm and forced him to run with her to escape the Citadel. Soon he had his footign and removed his arm from her hand and kept a pace behind her as they ran through the halls, as the place was practically falling apart. Soon they came to their exit and they ran threw, over the bridge and up the steppe hill. At the top Veloth had fell to his knees.

He was stricken with sarrow, for the Defender of his people had been consumed. But it was over, Dagoth Ur was dead, The sixth house was no more. The blight of the montain stopped everything became clear. Veloth gazed down the slopes at the litered battle feild. The allies had prevailed over the armored horde. But the numbers had dropped severely. Elana got Veloth to his feet and they climbed the slope down and reached the small group of brave defenders. They all cheered with the cries of "Nerevar Reborn, you have saved us!" they were now happy the threat and fighting was over. But soon Veloth felt a slight pain in his stomach. Elana had turned around to face him with a smile but when she looked down to see his wound her face went into fear. Veloth rose his hand to see blood and looked down to see scrap metal that had impaled him when he fell. Blood had gushed over his armor drippign to the ground and he felt weak.

Again he fell to his knees dazed. The world was spinning around him and his breathing slowed. He could feel his heart beating slower and slower. "This is how the world ends to ones eyes, Not with a sound." His last thoughts ran threw his head, maybe even threw his mouth it didn't occure to him. Soon everything faded and it was black. For a few moments he could think and soon the beautiful paradise had shown. again he was in the grove which he had seen the visions of death and destruction, but instead of a altar there was a statue of Azura. A feeling of comfort had swelled and Azura had appeared.

"You have seen his fall. Dagoth Ur, the traitor, Is now ceased, his Evil will be remembered in tales of the Nerevarine and as the future comes in legend. You have walked the path of much suffering my child. But you have served me well." Veloth had nodded and smiled.
"What of the Nerevarines fate?" He asked suprisingly, he could speak.
"He will live on in the hearts of the True peoples of Morrowind, as their savior, and their general. Mourn not for him, it is a thing to rejoice." Veloth nodded again and soon Azura Disappeared and everything faded.....

Chapter 3

Veloth had finally opened his eyes. He tried to sit up but a sharp pain blazed across his stomach. "Take it easy!" A soft worried voice came and soon Elana put her hand on Veloth' chest to keep him laying down. He looked up at her face as his head rested again on the pillow. She was in a elegant White shirt and Skirt. The shirt had a silver Collar that rose to the top of her neck and having a V opening. The skirt had silver lining on the bottom circling around.

"Where are we?" He asked. Elana smiled relieved that he was awake.
"We are in Vivec. My room to be more precise." She sat back down in the chair that had been set next to the bed. He smiled weakly and then looked at Elana.
"I saw her. Azura." Elana looked at him and blinked a couple of times.
"A dream?" She asked and he he shook his head.
"No, At least not completely." He paused for a few seconds and began again. "I was standing in a small clearing of a forest. Oh it was so Wonderful. She appeared and told me we have won. My path behind the Nerevarine had ended."

Elana smiled with a tear forming in her eye. "The blight has stopped. What of the Nerevarine? Vivec wanted to see him." Veloth' smile faded and a sad expression drifted over his face. Elana knew that the Nerevarine now did not make it out of Red mountain. "Well at least you live! That's always something isn't it?" She gave a weak smile. Veloth chuckled slightly but the pain came back and he coughed with his dry throat. Elana took a cup and pitcher off the dresser and poured water into it and handed Veloth the cup. "Here you need some water." Veloth took it without hesitation and drank it down quickly. After the water had been consumed he gave a gasp of air and handed Elana the cup.

"Thank you." He smiled. Soon the door opened and the Archcanon walked into the room. His golden robes flapping behind him giving the appearel that had hurried through the halls. He glanced at Veloth and gave a quick smile.
"I'm glad to see you are awake. We were afraid we lost you." Veloth looked at him and nodded.
"How long have I been out?" He asked and Elana gave a drowned look.
"You have been out for Several weeks. You were thrashing about in your sleep so we knew you were alive." Veloth again tried to sit up, this time the pain was less then it was before. The purple blank slipped down his stomach revealing bandages wrapped around his stomach.
"Well Vivec and Amelexia are waiting for the two of you in the palace. They want to Congratulate you on your victory at Ghost Gate." The Archcanon began after seeing Veloth sit up.
"We will be there in a few minutes, Thank you." Elana said and the arch canon gave a smile to Veloth and left the room.

Veloth had turned around his legs hanging off the side of the bed and looked around the room in his half nakedness. He attempted to stand up but his legs gave way making him fall a bit. But Elana caught him and helped him up. "Here. I got you some new cloths." She turned around opening the Dresser Drawer. She pulled out a Velvet Green shirt much like hers, With silver on the colar with the V shape to not choke the wearer.

After that she pulled out silk Green pants that were a bit baggy but went with the shirt along with a light tan vest. Veloth had taken the pants and slipped into them and Elana helped him with the shirt and vest. She then pulled out dark brown boots from underneath the bed. They were light and flexible but made of leather with the top folded down. He slipped them on and then looked around the room. "Where is my coat?" Elana Gave a smile.

"We couldn't find it after the battle, but we did manage to get the tailors to make you a new one exactly like it. She walked over to the Cupboard and opened its two doors and there hung his Weapons and a Dark Brown Trench coat. He walked up to it and felt the texture of the new coat. It was Velvet cloth with smooth leather on the inside with a brighter color. He took the coat and looked at it with a smile and put it on. It lengthened to about a couple of inches from his feet and had a cut in the back of it which went half way up leg length. It was a bit heavier then his other coat but it worked for his taste.

The sleeves hung over his wrists and palm exposing his hand from mid section to his fingers. He looked up at Elana and smiled with thankfulness. He moved forward and gave her a hug. Tears started to roll down Elana' face as she was overwhelmed with blissful joy. They soon separated and Veloth Turned back around grabbing his weapons. The Dirk had a new sheath which attached to a belt that went around his waist.

The dirk was tilted a bit sideways and placed near the back of the belt. He clasped the belt to him positioning the Dirk on his lower back and then took his dagger which as well had a new sheath and straps and he strapped it to his leg.. Soon as everything was in place he turned around showing himself off the Elana. She gave a small giggle then fixed her skirt. "Well Better not keep them waiting to long." She smiled and lead Veloth out of her room down the hall and out the back door.

They arrived at the steps but it had Ordinator' positioned on the sides holding flags all the way up. Veloth marveled at the sight. Soon trumpets bellowed as the walked up the steps to the Palace door. As they reached the top of the Steps their were two Ordinator in Shining white armor elegant and Beautiful. Elana smiled deeply. "The her hands Guards are here!" She whispered in his ear. Veloth Examined them and nodded.

Soon the doors opened in front of them and the trumpets hated their sound. Inside was Vivec and Amelexia standing together in the center of the room and priests and priestesses gathered in two separate crowds. The sight of Amelexia was marvelous. Not even that. There were no words to express her beauty. Veloth kept himself together and they approached the two. When they reached the steps they stopped and the Doors closed.

"Welcome again Veloth. Your bravery has not gone unnoticed." Vivec was not levitating as he always had. It was almost odd seeing him without a pulse of Divinity. But it was his guilt that made him realize his wrong doings. He had enough of immortality. He accepted his end with no regrets. "And Elana." He began motioning his hand to the side and a young Dunmer approached with a velvet pillow. On it was an elegant white silver pendant. "With consideration and council with Amelexia, We have agreed to make you a guardian. As well as a high priestess of the temple!" He gently handed the crown to Elana who had a sparkling smile. "We were going to give you these ranks but with the Sixth house trouble we had to put it at hold. The armor goes with your standing." Vivec then turned to Veloth and nodded. "Also! Veloth you have been granted the Standing as Guardian. We give you our blessing, to strengthen you and give you agility. May no blade ever touch you, may no weight ever encumber you." Amelexia then cleared her throat.
"With your standing, I give to you armor. Enchanted Mithril. May it protect you." She gave a small bow
"Your armor will be waiting for you back at the living quarters. And with the ending of the tribunate close at hand. You two have been re-signed out of the temple, and to Helseth' royal court.". Amelexia had shot a grim stare at Vivec. Then quickly straightened her face out. "Something troubling you Amelexia?" Vivec asked calmly. Amelexia smiled thinking up a lie.
"No Vivec, just something at the corner of my eye caught my attention." She falsely assured Vivec. Making no slight sarcasm in her voice. The dark Thoughts running threw her mind, the plans she had to keep her station as Divine God!. She made herself Emotionless again but the thoughts in her head bounced around.

Soon the small celebration ended. Veloth, and Elana had exited the palace and made their way back to her room. Veloth quickened his pace in front of her wanting to see his new gift. He rushed through the door and soon arrived back at the room. On the bed lay his white mithril armor. The pauldrons elegantly Formed for his shoulder with a wave like design. The chain like Armor was flexible and stretchable to fit him. The cuirass had a Belt attached to it as the cuirass hung over the waist. The greaves had the same mail like appearance but with Plates much like the pauldrons with a wavy design. The boots sat on the color. They were also flexible to allow him to move without stomping. Veloth admired the armor with a blissful smile on his face.

Hmm i thought they'd be longer, most of these blocks take a page and 1/3 of another on Word. O.o and thats on font size 10 wich is a bit smaller then the size here. I'll probably start writing them longer then about 2 pages on word and paste it here.

Elana stood in the doorway watching. Veloth' mood was a surprise to her. She had seen many people as a priestess and healer who have suffered like he had. But none had waken up with still the same attitude they would of had before they were almost killed. Veloth though. He was strong willed. He had reason to keep living and never look back at the worst things in life. She took a step into the room and came up behind Veloth placing her hand on top his shoulder. "You should try it on!" Her soft voice carried care and curiosity.

Veloth turned his head still with his smile. giving a small nod he took his coat off and picked up the Curaiss first. One by one placing each piece of armor on him. His Velvet cloths fit unwrinkled, perfectly, under the armor. When he was finished he turned around to show Elana what it all looked like. It was bright. Like a mirror with the sun shining on it. The white Mithrill gave some feeling of courage. If Veloth were to be a general of an army, His men would have the prestiege and will to fight without doubt that any cause would be forfeit.

"It looks.. Handsome." She gave the pause before her last word. She didn't know any words to give how the armor looked. Veloth smiled while looking at himself. Soon a young voice came from the doorway. "Mi'lady, The boat to the mainland leaves Ebonheart in just a couple of hours. It would be wise to leave as soon as possible." Elana turned around smiling at the young woman. "Thank you." The woman gave a slight bow and walked back down the hall. Elana looked back up at Veloth and cleared her throat. "Well I better get into mine as well. Then we must get to the Ebonheart port." Veloth nodded then grabbed his coat, His blades and his quiver. Attaching the dagger to its spot same with the dirk. But when he looked back down at the Dummy he saw something behind it. It had its own belt hanging from the arm.

Veloth took the looping celt in his hand and pulled it from behind and saw a sword. The sheath was black with silver metal lining the top. He unsheathed the blade which settled inside and to his amusemant it was a silver sword. But this was not some kind of gift from the temple, or this king, Helseth? He looked at it and he found a peculiar note tied to the blade. It was a small note. Veloth pulled it off the blade opening the folded piece and to his surprise he could remember the handwriting. It was that of his Father'.

Son;

I have heard about your deeds through the temple. I am sorry for never staying to see you grow up to the man you have become now. I have visited the tribe once more, this time with friendly welcome. I eard about your mother, and it grieves me. I am sorry for her death. She was a wonderful woman. I had also heard of your part at Red mountain while I had my time hear on the island. So to show a fathers love and how proud I am, I give you this sword. It has been in the family for generations. The markings on the blade symbolize wisdom and courage. And I have put an engraving on it as well. Your name, along with the name of the sword, Vladrim. May it serve you in the majesties service, As it did me.

With fatherly love,
Savrill

Veloth stared at the letter for a few brief moments. Tears were forming in his eyes. He hadn't seen his father since he was just a young dunmer. Elana had gotten her armor on and looked at the sword Veloth held under his arm while reading the note. "who is that from?" She asked now looking at the somewhat saddened expression on his face. Veloth nodded and then looked over to Elana.
"It is from my father." Elana looked at him surprised.
"An ashlander could afford such an elegant blade?" Veloth smiled and shook his head.
"No, my father isn't native to Vvardenfell. He lives in Mournhold." Elana looked at him with a curious face but shook the curiosity away.
"Well you can tell me about him on the way to the mainland. We have to start walking there if we want to be on time."

Soon they left the halls and made their journey to Ebonheart from the side exit from the Telvanni Canton. Veloth wrapped his coat around the new sword and soon imagined what the City of Mournhold would be like. He had only heard small talk about its Serene wonder, and magical foundations. He tried to imagine the city, its circular form with the four districts. He knew there was a temple district, then the royal palace which really wouldn't count as a district but it was named thus. Then Gods reach and the market quarter. Or was it the Bazaar? He couldn't remember.

He was interrupted in his little vision when Elana pulled him to the side as he was about to walk into a wall. He glanced at her and then gave a small smile mixed with a chuckle. "You know you shouldn't day dream while walking." She said with a smile. Veloth gave a nod and started to speak. "Well that is true, but if you are dreaming the destination,. Sometimes you walk there with no trouble." Elana thought for a second then snapped her finger.

"That is only if you know your territory to get to your destination safely." She gave a little wink and gave a smirk. She knew she had caught him in his own riddle. Veloth frowned whiel he thought then nodded.
"Well aren't you a smart one? Your right." He scratched the back of his head and faced forward.

Soon they had crossed the small bridge out of Vivec and onto land, turned south and headed to Ebonheart. The day was surprisingly clear. No clouds in the sky, the Netch' hovered around above the mushroom trees and wild guar grazed on the grass. Veloth was stuck in thought about the new life in mournhold. It was like it was just yesterday when he had gotten Corprus and then met Elana. With everything that had happened he went from a poor low life Ashlander, with no call to fame at all. To being this ranger who appeared out of flame and now a royal guard? Agent?

What ever it was he had became it was giving him what he always wanted. Adventure. Too see things he had never seen before. Travel, explore new worlds. He now knew what Azura ment when she said he would have a path of glory and possibly riches? His dream was slowly but surely coming true. He looked ahead now bringing himself back down to earth and saw the Walls of Ebonheart. His mind cleared and soon he was filled with the blissful wonder as he saw the dukes city, or fort. What ever it was, maybe a small town? It didn't matter to him, all it was now was a marvelous sight. Something very new to him. But he didn't want to marvel at it. He was sure Mournhold would be quite more interesting.

Soon they crossed the bridge into the small state. A tall statue of a dragon wrapping around what looked like a sword was seen in the center of the courtyard. Mercenaries walked around like guards and to the left, was the docks. It wasn't the docks that caught Veloth' attention though, it was what was docked there that grabbed him. A massive ship wooden planked with gold trimming. There were three large sails that blew in the wind. Perfectly white sheets they were. There was cargo that was being brought off the ship, large crates and barrels. Maybe with imported goods? Weapons, cloths, armor?

It probably didn't matter. And out on the dock standing right off the plank that made passage onto the ship was a high ordinator and a guard. But this guard wasn't like any others. He wore red andamantium armor. It was unlike any armor Veloth had ever seen. Elana tugged on his arm as he was standing in place. He hadn't noticed. She urged him to follow her and he did so. Boarding the ship Veloth glanced at every inch, every sailor, every sail!

Only a short few words were going through his head as he was wondrous to the vessel. What beauty thus lays await for me beyond this quaint vessel? But again his wondrous self was interrupted by a ordinator approaching both Elana and him and gave a salute. "Welcome aboard you two. I was instructed to let you both know that we will be on the ship for at least a week and a half. Maybe less if the waters are calm and the weather clear!"

Elana gave a nod as well as Veloth. The ordinator turned about face and walked back to the cabin he had came from. And then one of the crew approached and held out his hand to Veloth. "Hello there, My names Kia-Gharri I'll show you too your rooms!" It was a khajiit. His fur was a golden brown color white on both sides of his nose. His ears were pointed and black at the tips and his tail was striped in black with the tip white.

He wore casual cloths, red silk shirt, and velvet red pants with gold trimmed black shoes. Veloth happily gave Kia a firm handshake and then nod. "Well show us away my friend." He replied and Kia smiled. "This way please." Kia turned around and walked toward the cabin door the Ordinator had entered. Veloth had taken Elana' hand and tugged it a few times to get her attention that was set on the sea to him. She snapped out of her dream and smiled following behind Veloth.

Kia was standing inside waiting and as soon as Veloth and Elana had entered through the door he opened up a small hatch to the left and pointed a finger down the ladder. "Down here please." Elana had gone down first Veloth helping her on the ladder. Then he looked up at the second door. "That is the captains personal room there. Wouldn't go in there unless summoned if I where you!" Veloth glimpsed at the Khajiit then climbed the ladder down followed by Kia.

Kia had quickened his pace going in front of the two and then opened up the second room down on the right. "This is for the young lady. We have the room the same as it was whe nyou were last on board. Elana nodded then walked in closing the door behind her after giving a last blissful glance at Veloth. "Your is right across the hall sir." Sia opened another door right across from Elana'. "We had this one refurbished, was a storage room but we took everything out at the mainland and brought the furniture in. Hope it is to your liking. Now if you excuse me I have to go back on deck to man the helm." Kia gave a bow and walked out of the room closing the door behind him. Veloth looked around the room. It was lit by wall placed lanterns giving it a warm glow. In the far right corner along the wall was a dresser, on the left side was a bed with a red quilted blanket fitted perfectly center inbetween the left upper and lower walls. And at the foot of the bed was a chest.

Veloth gave the room one last glance then opened the chest, Unwrapping his coat and set it on the bed and placed the sword inside the chest. He then started to slip our of the armor and placed each peice inside the chest, the boots he left out setting on top the chest after he closed it. He then opened up his caot taking out the leather boots he had received after waking up from his long slumber and slipepd the mon. a feeling of comfort went threw him as his feet were not in a mithril boot any longer. He took his coat and slipped it on and then opened the room door seing Elana out of her armor aswell and in her white dress. "You going up to to look at the sae?" She askwith a playful tone. Veloth looked dow nthe hall the nback at her. "Well I was yes. You going to?" She nodded. Veloth smirked and stretched his right arm out and gave a bow. "You first Mi'lady!" Elana smiled and gave a small laugh and walked down the hall climbing the ladder back up to the top. Veloth followed shortly after and they had exited the cabin and walked to the left side and leaned on the railing Veloth looking across the sea. Ebonheart was still visible and was slowly shrinking as the ship sailed away from it. As Veloth looked back at the island something hit him he didn't expect. Sarrow of leaving his home.

He began to think about the tribe and the ashlands he had left behind. His mother' death now going through his mind. Finally, at the worst possible time, he was feeling grief. He had forgot all about the things that had been taken away from him during his time away and durign battle. It now all caught up to him. A single tear ran down from his left eye as he watched his old home fade away in the horizon. Minuts went by and soon the coast of Vvardenfell was swallowed by the horizon and Veloth stopped worrying about it for the moment. He would make best of what he was given and where he was.

Elana soon Grabbed Veloth' arm cuddling up beside him. Veloth felt comfort with her by his side. He looked down at her and smiled as she gazed out at the sea. "Life is going to be different for me, away from my home." He said with the sadness left in him. Elana brought her eyes to look downward. "You miss it already?" She asked feeling some homesickness vibrating off of him. Veloth sighed and closed his eyes.

"I Don't miss it very much now, it's just?" He paused then opened his eyes again. "It's just everything I.. We have been through. I had forgotten about my mother' death, the tribe. The warmth of the sands in the ashlands. And now it seems the sorrow has caught up to me." Another tear formed in his eye then rolled slowly down his face. Elana hugged his arm tighter and forced a smile. "You should always hold them in your heart. The memories, your mother." She said in a soft comforting voice. "When you forget where you come from, you forget who you are. Your mother' death, You shouldn't look at her death when you had saw it, just keep her in your heart. When you keep that love, it makes you stronger and better for living."

Veloth knew her words to be true but the sadness was overwhelming. He loved his mother dearly, she was always there for him and now, she was gone from him forever. More tears began to run down his face for both joy, and sorrow. He took in a deep breath and thought about how in his tribes belief that when the one you love dies, they watch over you alongside the god's. In some kind of heaven. But Veloth still felt some emptiness inside him. "Even though I keep her love in me, there is still a hole, an emptiness where her place was." Elana looked up at his tear wet face and smiled. "I know it's hard Vel, I had an emptiness inside me forever when my parents died too."

Veloth looked down at her. "Had?" The question bounced in his head and he worked up the rest of his words. "How did you fill it?" Elana smiled took his hand with hers and looked down to the floor. "I was hoping you would fill it." She said with a soft, saddened, love filled tone. Veloth smiled to her words. He had found the answer to how he would be able to do the same thing. But her answer came with surprise to him. Soon the emptiness he had felt was slowly drifting away from pain, to nothing. Or was it something?

He looked in her eyes seeing and feeling something better then what he felt before with her. "Only if you could fill mine as well." He gave a sure answer to her half question. She smiled again this time with a deep happiness she had not felt for many years. Veloth found himself bringing his head closer to hers but soon they were interrupted by the call of dinner from one of the crew members. His head jumped back to its spot and they both laughed heartily at his reaction. They both soon headed back bellow deck, Elana opened her room door and invited Veloth inside. Her room was a bit larger then Veloth', having a large Dresser the chest and a small dinning table against the wall. The table was lined with a blue table cloth and two plates settled on top. Elana sat down in the chair against the wall and Veloth took the seat across from her.

The meal in question consisted of a muffin, chowder soup and a side of fried potatoes. Veloth eyes the food, he had never eaten anything like it before other then fire roasted slaughterfish. Elana had began eating being casual in a proper way for nobles. Veloth took a spoon and began to take small mouthfuls of the chowder. Its rich creamy taste mixed with the clam meat was delicious. He soon used a fork to try the potatoes and with their seasoning made him want more.

Elana watched him as he savored the meal. Nothing about his eating habits disturbed her. She new all to well about the Ashlander diet. Simple hound meat, sometimes crabmeat and scribs if they were lucky. "I'll take it, the food is delicious then?" She gave a smile and Veloth nodded with his mouth full of food. He swallowed it all down and wiped his mouth with a folded cloth that was set to the side. "I'm sorry, It's just this is delicious. I have had nothing like it. Excuse my manners." He gave a apologetic bow of his head and Elana gave a small laugh. "It is alright, You don't need to be proper on a ship." She had finished what she could bare to eat and pushed the plate and bowl forward.

She got up from her seat and walked over to the dresser and opened the top drawer, pulling out her night gown. Veloth followed her turning his head and soon as she began to undress he quickly turned his head back around staring at his clean plate. But the nhis eyes caught sight of the spoon, it was shiny and reflective. He sat in thought. It was tempting to use it to spy, but that wouldn't be gentleman like. But the urge over through him and he picked up the spoon holding it at an angle and soon saw her reflection. But she was already dressed looking at him. His face went blank and set the spoon back on the table and got up from his seat.

He was about to head out of the room when Elana caught his arm. "You know it's nothing you haven't seen before." She puleld him closer to her slowly. Veloth' mind was racing, so many things he could come up with to leave the room and avoid her but nothing seemed right. "It's still disrespectful, I'm sorry." He looked at the door still, thinking he should make a dramatic exit but no she had him. "You were just tempted, but?" She paused looking up at him. "We are alone. And, the room lighting is a bit low." Veloth gave a smirk and slowly turned around. His head tilted downward.

She ducked her head to try and catch his eyes with hers and succeeded when he looked up. Their eyes had met and it was like a dream. Her head inched closer to his and he soon followed. Slowly they approached until finally the distance was closed. Their lips touched, sending Veloth into a sort of daze. [some few paragraphs are censored won't be posted here on the forum. Soon the night was ended and the sun had risen. Veloth had awakened and gotten dressed. He felt blissful. He had made his way back to the upper deck and leaned against the railing looking off to the side into the horizon. All his doubts, Worries, were gone. Elana' words had sunk in his head and he had gotten over his sickness. He had taken his large step into a new life, he wouldn't let anything stop it. He would see his dreams come true. He would see the other provinces, blackmarsh, Skyrim, Hammerfall, Cyrodill! But all of it would come in due time. He knew it.

The sun was a bit over the horizon. Making the sea sparkle like the clea night time sky and all it's stars. Veloth looked at it with calmness. A brisk sea breeze had swept across giving Veloth a more calm sense. Soon his trance ended as Elana placed herself on his side. Giving him a mourning cuddling hug. He looked down upon her and kissed the top of her head. "Good mourning!" He said with a gentle tone. She hugged tighter and smiled. "Mourning!" She let go then placed her hands on the railing and looked across the sea.

"You sleep well?" Veloth asked straightening his coat collar around his neck.
"Very pleasant, yes. Thank you." She answered still staring blissfully out at the sea.

At the very least the rest of their voyage would be peacefull with a clear way ahead to the mainland...
