Fantastic cable management, my friend. I'd only add a second 460 and I'm questioning the reason for the 965 over the cheaper 955 which is essentially the same.

As for my system:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz @ 3.0GHz
HSF: ULTRA ChillTEC
GPU: ATI Sapphire HD5870
RAM: Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800 6GB
Mobo: XFX 750i
PSU: Corsair 1000HX 1000w 80Plus Silver PSU
Case: Antec P182
Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster 2253BW
Keyboard: Logitech DiNovo
Mouse: Logitech Lachesis
Receiver: Technics SA-DX1050
Speakers: Bose 301 Series IV
Sub Woofer: KLH E-12DB

I don't have a camera [just my phone] nor do I have a 'guts' shot. So here's my setup.

Image

Thanks dude, I tried my best with the cables in the Centurion 590..it wasnt easy. Oh and I went with the 965 BE over the 955 because the 965 is the highest end AMD CPU that the motherboard can take, as it does not support the X6's. So I figured I'd pay the extra cash to max it out.

I do plan on adding a 2nd 460 as well as a new power supply (probably a 750 or 850 watt Corsair).

All of these rigs were built with destroying games like Crysis in mind. Hopefully Crytek sees how much sweat, blood, and money we pour into our high-end systems!

yup. i upgraded my pc in jan/feb just for crysis 2. I knew this year had a lot of epic games coming out, but crysis 2 being the earliest. It was promised to be the next coming of jesus, so i figured id upgrade earlier in the year to get the full experience. But it wasnt. Now im stuck with an amazing PC, but no games to play that take advantage of it. Unfortunately i have to wait for bf3, which is november. If i knew crysis 2 was goign to fail so hard i would have just held off on my upgrade.

Some nice clean looking rigs here. Especially that one a few posts up. I only wish I could make my case so tidy.

i5 2500k 4.8GHz

Asus P8P67 M Pro

4GB G.Skill. Not bothered about **** loads of memory, when 4GB is all you need. Only 1333MHz, not bothered about fast memory here either.

Radeon 5850 850MHz/1200MHz

CM 700W silent pro

Seagate 500GB. Not bothered about fast hard drives here. I would like to move along to a PCI express SSD sometime though, if not for the noise/heat/power advantage. My case is a micro ATX Cooler Master Elite 340 and I'm pretty much forced to having the hard drive on the bottom of the case. It's actually quite good, because the bottom of the case acts as a sort of radiator.

8. Not a bad setup at all!

I'm not going to make a pic, because my cable management is ****.

Windows 7 Ultimate x64
700 W power supply
ASUS P5P43TD PRO (for hackintosh purposes)
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0 gHz no overclocking
MSI Nvidia Geforce 470GTX 1280MB on 384 bitspeed. No overclocking
Three hard disks. No raid. I like my files the way I like my sixual activity; safe. 160GB, 320GB (Windows disk) and 250GB (hackintosh disk)
1 external hard disk 1,5 TB. My scratch disk for video editing
mid tower case from Sharkoon
4GB RAM DDR3 1333 mHz
DVD-RW drive. Nothing special
24'' monitor for gaming and 19'' monitor beside it.

I'm going to buy some upgrades at the end of the year though.

- socket 1155 motherboard
- i7 sandy bridge processor
- probably 2 more gigs of RAM
- SSD and put two of my three drives I have now in RAID striped.
- maybe a second GTX 470
- Big tower. Probably from Antec.

Out of curiosity, is anyone using aftermarket coolers for their GPU's? NVIDIA really screwed up big time on the cooling systems for the GT 400 and 500 series. The 590 is a cooling nightmare, and does anyone remember what happened with the 480? Temps as high as 80 C under IDLE, almost 100 C under load.

Not a 10 but this is a pretty awesome computer (Especially when your last two computers were cheap laptops).

So far the only games that gave me a hard time is Metro 2033 that made FPS drop down to 24, average of 35, max of 55-60.

Crysis 2 with Radeon Pro goes form 65 to 100 fps depending of where in-game.

Games I currently play: UT3, Crysis 1-2, Bad company 2, AvP, Torchlight, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Metro 2033, Bulletstorm (for the lulz), Medal of Honor...
