Actually you can only have 10 now and no xp transfer.

Oooh, I partially :ninja:'ed you there. ....Kinda, lol. *Ninja failz*

I heard it's a time-issue thing. They want to be able to release it on time for May, so they had to scraqe it. (Maybe it's a balancing or technical issue?) -_-

I would drive across the ocean and have a sit down with Paul, and have him explain this in 100% detail...It would be video recorded and put on here...

Also I would have him put a demo out...

Okay, just to update. Only 10 characters. Can switch classes during the match, but not abilities and skills. Can only switch body types between matches, not during.
If you want to re-spec, you have to lose one entire experience level. Last, you can NOT spread/share/transfer XP from one character to another.

Basically, choose your abilities wisely unless you don't mind losing a level every time you re-spec.

Uh, I hope that's everything related to what you are talking about, lol. :D

damn. thats one hell of a bomb you just dropped on me. but thanks for the update. although im glad you can only switch body type between matches, and skills with a penalty. but i hate that there is no xp transfer. that will make my life a whole lot harder.

on a side note, can i actually switch character during a match?

edit: btw, what does it mean to ninja someone?

Wraithd posting something someone was going to say while they are typing. Happens around here.

Also as far as we know you cannot change character mid match. Only classes via CP.

Yes, I love dropping bombs on people, sweetheart, lol.
Yeah, I just got this info. recently just by lurking on the SD forums. The devs tend to pop up there from time to time, but usually for a quick quote or enigmatic statement, lol.

As true as that is, what publisher doesnt screw over games in order to make more money...

That doesn't make it alright.

And dont forget publishers' new trick. their games come with codes exclusive to pplayers who bought the game new. they do it to screw over who buy used copies, cause obviously, used profit generate ZERO profit.

That's not screwing over people who don't buy it new, that's incentive to buy it new. It's not their fault if you don't buy it new. You're not automatically entitled to the bonus content. If it's a code that lets you play online, though, then yeah that's not cool. That actually is taking away a section of what you as a consumer are entitled to, because it's in the base product, and is what you payed for.

I never said it was right. So what you are saying that the code is acceptable if its for offline bonus, but not online bonus? and yes it is screwing over people. not every one can afford to pay full retail. so now they get screwed over and get content taken away from them because they arent increasing the size of the publishers wallet.

Agreed.

Denying a person content due to their financial situation is completely unfair and burns bridges with apart of the gaming community!

But that's like saying it's wrong for a car company to deny you the optional extras like the sunroof or the sat nav or whatever because you can't afford it. A bonus extra is a bonus extra. Keeping multiplayer to yourself like EA do is like taking a whole wheel. You are entitled to that wheel because you payed for it, but not the sat nav, because you bought the cheaper version of the car specifically because it's cheaper.
