Presumptions. You've missed my point here, for a start I'll be playing both camaigns single player on all three difficulties first, so single player content is great as far as I'm concerned. You've got me all wrong man. If you're buying a used version, you get what you pay for. Pre order bonuses are not taking anything AWAY, it's ADDING a slight bit to the people who buy it new right out of the gate. If you had to pre order something to access an entire different mode, that's like having to pay to go upstairs in the house you just bought.
Also, I'm not trying to be incendiary here, so calm down a little.
First off, I am calm.
Second, you say its okay for them to take a "bonus" away, but not the second floor to a house you bought. its the exact same thing. you are arguing that some things are justifiably removed while others are not. im justifying that if you buy something nothing should get removed, not the bonus not the second floor, not the multiplayer.
Just to further explain the situation to you, and im not going to use any anologies:
If a publisher sells a new game for $60, and that game comes with a "bonus" (or multiplayer code, or dlc, whatever) and that bonus is sold separately, for example, at $15. then they arent really giving it to you for free, they are selling you the game for $45 and bonus for $15 = $60. Now all of this would be okay if they separately sold the game brand new, codeless, for $45 and you had the option to buy the bonus for $15 and break even. In this case then your car anology would apply and yes, you get what you paid for, hence you pay less you get less, FROM THE DEALER. but not when it is used. To explain myself even more, what publisher are doing is that they are chopping up the game in pieces that can only be accessible by codes. Why? because cd games can actually be sold to other people but bonus codes cannot. How f*ing convenient, right? And if you still dont get my point, its like you are buying a new car, but leasing the wheels. so every time someone buys your used car, that person has to go back to the dealer and pay them so you can fully enjoy your car.
And on a side note, i am calmed. But seriously annoyed by the fact that you are siding with greedy publishers instead of gamers.
