Todd flicked his wrist, showing Alexander he had combat experience. He took a bite of eggs, and then quickly forced them down, the food was not that great.

"I've had sometime in combat. I've actually been here since the very beginning. Just never made it in the ranks." Todd said returning to his eggs and the rest of his cheap breakfast.

Pvt. Jonathan Hunt

"Well on the way here I killed a few reds but other than that and basic training nothing."

Jonathan looked at his meal. He was almost done yet he was still hungry.

"How 'bout you"

He put his gloves back on. He could feel the room getting warmer but not warm enough to take his combat armor off.

"Hey am I the only medic here? I heard there's more in our squad and this seems like a large group for only one medic. Well I hope I wont have to patch any of you up."

Jonathan looked at Todd.

"Why haven't they promoted you?"

"Must be hell fighting the Chinese up here in this frozen hell" Alexander said to Sgt. Todd.

Alexander then turned to Jonathan and said "I remember shootin' my first Chinese, back in Russia. I have a good amount of experience fighting the Chinese" Alexander said pointing at his Burn mark.

"Combat exp-er-ie-nce? Whats that?" Harley said jokingly to Alexander. He smiled and said "I've only been in the Army for six years, but I have been in a fair few Active Combat Deployments, it can get pretty hairy out there".

"Private Hunt, I am Sergeant Harley Andrews by the way".

Todd looked at Jonathan, and smirked, waving his fork in the air with some powdered egg on the end. He thought about it, and wasn't sure if he should say, but he figured it didn't matter much.

"Well, because the military rank system is [censored]. I should be a [censored] Captain, but the higher ups figured I wasn't good enough, and handed it off to some young [censored] who had little combat experience." Todd went silent, and ate his powdered eggs finishing his food, and pushing the tray aside. "That's why I'm still a Sergeant." Todd listened to Alexander.

"Ha good one my friend, Yes those Chinese can get crazy. You haven't seen scary until you've seen a Chinese human wave charge." Alexander said with a smile.

"So tell me, What is this T-51B armor like? I've heard stories and it sounds very powerful" Alexander asked Harley.

Jack overheard a group saying "Captain Beckett". So he walked over to their table.
"Are any of you Captain Beckett?"

Harley wasn't the least surprised at Sergeant Todd's answer about promotions. "It's all about politics, the promotion board isn't out there for soldiers anymore, they do what the Army thinks is best for the Army, emphasis on 'Army'. Thats why I don't bother trying to please them, I just want to do my job, but the promotions guys choose whoever they want, no matter how much you do for your country".

Harley lent down and got a cigarette packet from his pack, pulled one out and put it in his mouth. But he didn't light it.

"No none of us are Cpt. Beckett but we are all part of his squad, why don't you come sit with us?" Alexander said to the soldier.

Alexander reached out his hand and said "My name is Sgt. Alexander Beria, Spetsnaz volunteer. What is your name?" Alexander said with a smile.

Todd raised his coffee mug in the air, looking down at the table with a sulken face. He was tired from the trip, and it was just barely starting to hit him. He took a drink from his mug, and layed it down.

"That's right, but I never was in it for the promotions. I just figured I deserved them more than the other guy. But like you said, the Army just looks out for itself. I figure if I die here, the army can kiss my ass. But they better keep sending some money to my wife and kid, or I'll haunt their ass till they die!" Todd said cracking a smile.

Todd looked at Alexander, raising him mug again. "The war over here, is just like it is everywhere else. Cold, wet, nothing but dark clouds. And when the blizzards come, that's when its the worst. But that's why I colored my armour white, so the Red's... err.. I mean the Chinese can't see me. I'm like a lump of snow to their eyes."

Jack was enthused at finding his squad, He gladly took the Russian's hand.
"I'm Pvt. Jack Mishugari, and I'm glad I found you."
He then took a seat.
" How is the food here?" he asked

Jonathan looked at all the people gathering around the table.

"Damn we sure got alot of guys. Oh and the foods okay better than what you would expect here."

He then looked at Todd.

"Well you might get a promotion eventually. Well I hope I do, I don't want to leave this war begin a private."

Jonathan looked around.

"What are all your specialties anyway?"

"I am a tech specialist"

Taking his unlit cigarette out of his mouth, and patting the machine gun on the table, Harley announces "Machine Gunner".

Todd held up his M14, to show the group that had gathered around the table.

"I'm just your regular foot soldier, just in Power Armour, and a nice rifle." Todd said smiling.

"You look like you've had some combat," Jack said trying to find the rights words to say," uhh, What do the Chinese, uhh, look like?" He chuckled sheepishly

"Nice to meet you Jack, oh and the food is the best food you will eat, at least the best food you will get from the army" Alexander said with smirk.

Alexander then turned to Jonathan and said "Special Operations and Translation"

Todd looked at the soldier who asked the question. He was a little shocked, but was probably just saying it for sarcasm. Todd leaned towards the soldier, and looked at his face, piercing his eyes with his own.

"When you hear the buggle sound, and the war cries of thousands of [censored]s rushing towards you, then you'll know what a Chinaman look like." Todd sat back to his usual slumped state, and looked at the young recruit, or at least seemed like it.

Jack hung his head, "Sorry Sir."

"And then you get some machine guns to open up on those bastards! And have some snipers take out their Officers, those guys up the back with stupid hats on" Harley said, adding it to the end of the Sergeant's reply. With his cigarette nearly falling out of his mouth as he spoke.

Todd shrugged it off, looking at the young recruit.

"It's all right, I just don't want you going in there blind, not knowing what type of enemy your going up against." Todd said acting like he was blind. He looked at Alexander, and smiled.

"Yeah, the commanders are the one's you gun for. The others are just [censored]s waiting to get shot." Todd said laughing a bit. He figured this group would be good in combat, just as long as the recruit stayed close to him or Alexander?

"Or if you really want a show, call an air strike and relax" Alexander said as he took a sip from his Flask of Vodka.

"Is it true they can turn invisable?" Jack asked.

Todd's face went pale white when the kid asked if they went invisible. He had lost several friends to the invisible chinese soldiers. He and a previous squad had gone out on a recon mission with five guys, and he and another were the only one's to return.

"Yes, there are. They have a sort of distorted image to them when they're invisible. Like looking at a window from the old Wild West days. If you see them, come find me or just yell for me. I've got some business with them." Todd said taking a sip of coffee.

"Yes, they have a special technology that allows them to turn invisible. They only give them to an elite squad of soldiers called the Crimson Dragoon. I've seen a few of them back when I was on a sabotage mission in Manchuria." Alexander said to Jack.

"Those tiny [censored]s are to cowardly to fight, they have to hide" Alexander said with a small frown on his face.
