Alright, here comes part two of http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=1003535&hl= I know it might not have lasted long, but, hey, this one will last. And I'll make it happen. I will edit this post soon to put prologue in, I just need to brush up and re-read the entire story so I remember what's going on.
Edit: Here comes the prologue. This sequel will take place in 1st person rather than 3rd.

A blinding light. That's all I could see. A blinding light above me. I couldn't move, talk or anything. I had an idea of where I was, but I pushed it off of my mind. I groaned a little. "He's... He's awake!" someone called. Above me, a person stood. "Oh, woops. Turn that light off." he said. "Hey, pal, wake up. Buddy, come on, wake up." I opened my eyes some more, and stared at the man. I didn't know who he was, but he was a Raider. "Hey. Wanna hear some news? It's been two years since you fell into that coma." he said. I began to feel a little more strength, enough to reply.

"C-...Coma... What coma...?" I asked. "Oh, well, two years ago, you guys were fighting some Super Mutants. Well, you were hit in the head by a super sledge, causing major brain damage, putting you into a coma. You haven't been consious since then." He began fiddling with some things on a small table next to me. "Here's a little booster shot. We were supposed to give it to you when you woke up." He pulled it closer, and it was a syringe. He brought it to my arm and let the needle peirce the skin. He injected everything into me, then tossed the empty syringe on the table.

"That shot will give you some strength and will come into full effectiveness in a week or so. Until then, you'll have to walk on crutches." he began walking away. "Wait.. Did I fully recover from the injury..?" I asked. He nodded his head slowly. "Yeah, you're fine." he said. "Also.... Where's Fredrick?" The man scratched his chin a bit, then said, "Fredrick.. Hmm... Oh! Yeah, your friend, riiiight.... Sorry to break the bad news, but Fredrick's dead. A month after you got the coma, Enclave came over here and attacked. They claimed that one of ours killed an entire camp. We pushed them out of here, but alot of people were killed in the attack. Fredrick was one of the people who weren't lucky."

I closed my eyes. I couldn't bare to hear those words. Fredrick was my friend my entire life, and he was dead. If I hadn't been in a coma, I could've saved him. It was all my fault for wanting to fight that day. "Hey, I know he was your friend and all, but everyone's gotta die some day. Just don't get too soft on me, I'm not that big on emotional problems." he said, then left. I got a bottle of purified water from the table next to me. I unscrewed the cap and poured the entire thing down. I was so thirsty. I hadn't drank anything in two years. I was being force fed to stay alive, and a little bit of water. I wanted to get out of that room as soon as I could.

Chapter one: An unrecognizable town
---------------------------

A week and a half went by until I was ready to walk again. I was back at the medical center, trying to get up without crutches. "Alright, don't get up all fast. Slowly. You haven't walked in two years, your muscles aren't used to this." the same man from before said. I slowly got on my legs. My legs got wabbly and I fell back onto the bed. "Alright, one more time." I said. I clenched my teeth in agony as I forced myself up, and kept myself standing upright. The man began writing things down on a clipboard. "Alright, you're healthy and fixed up. I never thought I'd say this, but.." The man looked up from his clipboard. "You're free to go."

I exited the building with my things, walking around, but still not used to it. There were so many dramatic changes to Evergreen Mills. New buildings were built, including the medical building I was staying at, and several shops. They even allowed caravans in without shooting on sight. I was continuing to the foundry building, but hesitated. I noticed a gigantic fenced in area that wasn't there before I was in a coma. I drew closer, and yelped when I saw a behemoth inside.

"Aaaah!! Behemoth!" I yelled in fear. Some Raiders nearby chuckled at my incompetence. "Hey, genius, that thing'sbeen there for months. Where have you been? In a coma or something?" one called out. "Actually, yeah, I was." I replied. The Raiders stopped laughing and looked at me curiously. "Idiots." I muttered before going off. I went under the foundry, and back where my old room was. I opened the door, but walked in on two Raiders having six. "WOAH!! What the hell is going on in here?!?" I yelled. The two Raiders covered up. The male one said, "What? This is my room, pal. I've been in here for a couple months. Now, if you'll excuse us.."

I frowned. "Wh.. What? But this was my room.." I said. "Yeah, well, not anymore. Go away!" the Raider closed the door in my face. I went to the bar inside the cave-in underneath the foundry. I got myself a couple beers. I was so bored. I had no friends left with me. I was going to have to leave sooner or later. I left the bar and exited the foundry a few minutes later, and decided to check out one of the shops. As I walked in, the man behind the desk began speaking. "Why, hello, welcome to Dunbar's Gunshop, I'm Dunbar." he said. "Erm.. well, let me see what you have for sale." I said.

"Certainly. Going on a raiding trip soon?" he asked. I looked at him awkwardly and shook my head. "...No.. Just show me your inventory." I said. He came around the desk and opened up a crate. "Take a look for yourself." he said. I began searching through, finding nothing of interest but garbage weapons in garbage condition. "What's with all the lousy stuff? Don't you have anything useful?" I asked. He pointed to a locker. I closed the crate and went to the locker, opening it and searching through. Several medical supplies and alot more ammo. I grabbed ammo for my guns and gave the man caps for them.

I exited the building. There was so much more of Evergreen Mills, but so little friends. I needed someone who could help me on my travels. I needed to track down the Enclave and reclaim vengeance for Fredrick's death. They would pay for what they did to him. But I couldn't just walk in alone, outmanned and outgunned. I needed someone who could be of assistance, be friendly, and watch my back. But I most certainly wasn't going to find that in Evergreen Mills.

I stared around, and began to wonder why I even came to Evergreen Mills in the first place. I began leaving. I was trying to come up with where I'd go. Rivet City would be an idea, but it was too far and I doubted they'd take kindly to a Raider. But then I remembered an old place someone told me about. A place called Underworld. Super Mutants didn't bug them, nor did the Brotherhood. The only problem was it was a city of ghouls. I wasn't a ghoul, but I could only hope they would allow me in.

Once I exited Evergreen Mills, I approached a caravan. "Gah! What do you want, Raider?!" the man said while backing away form me. "I just want to know where Underworld is." I said. "Underworld? A Raider has no business in Underworld. But, damn I hate ghouls. It's in the museum of history in the D.C. ruins." he told me. I grinned and said, "Thanks." I continued on to Rivet City, and from there, I'd climb the wall surrounding the D.C. ruins and get there quicker.

***

It took me a few days to get to Rivet City, although I got a few rides from caravaners. I stood ouside Rivet City, approaching the metal building where the bridge normally opened onto. I walked in, but right when I did, a woman approached me with her plasma rifle in my face. "What the hell is a Raider doing in MY city?!" she asked. "What the hell, crazy [censored], I'm just sleeping out here until dawn! Get the damned gun out of my face!" I yelled.

She scowled at me and pulled her plasma rifle away. "If you cause ANY trouble to caravans or guards ot here, I'll have your head on a plate!" she yelled. "Oh yeah? I'd like to see who'd win in a fight, me or you." I replied. "Don't get cocky with me, Raider. Shut up and be done with your business." she said, angrily. I walked away from her and got to the corner of the metal room. I leaned against the wall and fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning, to the sound of gunshots. I opened my eyes and saw the woman shooting at something outside the building. She turned to me, noticing I was awake. "YOU sent them here, didn't you?!!" she yelled. Before I could respond, a shotgun shell blew her head clear off. "Dumb [censored], serves you right." I said. I went to her corpse and took the plasma rifle from her hands, along with the microfusion cells. I looked to see who was shooting.

Four guys in pitch-black combat armor, all heavily armed. Talons. "Hey, guys. Thanks for the pick-me-up, I'm real glad she's dead and I've got her gun." I called. One of them laughed, and said, "Haha! We've been planning this attack on Rivet City for weeks. Your welcome. By the way, what's a Raider doing out here?" he asked. "Ah, nothing. Just exploring, but I had to sleep somewhere safe. Have fun raiding Rivet City. Wish I could come, but unfortunately my hands are full."

"Well, alright. Good luck on your 'exploring'." I waved goodbye and walked past. As I went on, I turned back. Several shouts and gunfire was heard, and I saw them kill the Rivet City security and run inside. I shook my head and continued on. After a long walk, I came to the large walls that surrounded D.C. I put my stuff in their holsters, and climbed onto a barrel. From there, I hopped onto the ledge of the wall, and hopped over. I was almost there.

As I hopped down the wall, I began checking my surroundings. I was right behind the Lincoln Memorial. I sneaked up to it and looked to see if anyone was there. A whole camp of Super Mutants. I couldn't take them all by myself, so I decided to go around and get by without being noticed. I began walking, but lost balance while on the stairs and fell onto a barrel, making too much noise. "What was that?!" I heard a Super Mutant call.

I quickly recovered and jumped into a bush, praying I wouldn't be seen. The Super Mutant came from the opening with his gun out. "Who's there? WHO'S THERE?!" he yelled. I slowly drew my pistol. "I KNOW YOU'RE OUT HERE!" it yelled again. I turned off safety and aimed at the Super Mutant. It saw my gun. But before it could scream for help, I pulled the trigger and watched as the bullet went straight through its head.

It wabbled back and forth, then fell onto its back, wallowing in a puddle of his own blood. I quickly put my gun away. Better get out of here, I thought. I got out of the bush and started running. Once I got in front of the memorial, the muties saw me and started chasing me. "Damn!" I yelled. I kept running away, and I figured I might as well give up. A pack of wild dogs jumped from bushes and started chasing me, too.

I didn't kow how I'd get out of this mess. Then I saw a bus, still with a live engine. I quickly got out a grenade, pulled the pin, and tossed it under the car. I ran like hell. Only moments later, the grenade went off along with the car, exploding into nuclear flame, killing every last mutant and dog. I thought I was home free now, but I wasn't. Up ahead was a Brotherhood outpost. The knight recognized me as a Raider and began shooting.

"Too easy." I said. I threw a grenade. I could see it going through the air, and exploded right onto her face. I decided to leave the scene. I didn't want to see the mess I made. I ran past the Washington monument and towards the museum of history. I burst through the double doors an closed them behind me. I had my hands on my knees, panting and gasping for air. "I made it." I said to myself.

I looked around the dark main entrance I was in. "This is Underworld?" I asked myself. I proceeded to the main hall, it had toppled and wrecked statues and structures. But up ahead was a gigatic skull overlooking two double-doors. I got close and read a sign next to it. Underworld. "Oh, that's Underworld.."I said to myself. I pushed open the doors and walked through. A smell of rotting flesh entered my nose. Inside were a ton of ghouls, doing daily things like shopping and chatting with one another. A man in a blue jumpsuit quickly came to me.

"Oh no!! It's a Raider! How'd he get in here?! Someone get Cerberus!!" he yelled in fear. "Woah, woah, calm down. I'm not here to hurt anyone. I just want to settle down here a while, get a couple drinks, maybe make some friends. And what the hell is a 'Cerberus'?" I said. "A Raider? Here, to make friends? I've never heard that before. And by the way, Cerberus is our Mr. Gutsy, we named him that. Well, go ahead and make yourself at home, but please don't cause any trouble. We got a nice little setup going on around here." he replied. "Don't worry, pay no attention to me and everyone is happy."

I began going up the stairs to my left, while passing Cerberus, the Mr. Gutsy. "ATTEN-SHUN!" he said firmly. "Yes, you too." I said. I noticed some opened doors, and a small sign. I read the sign, which said, The ninth Circle. I walked through the open doorway, the bartender immediately greeting me. "Why, hello there, smoothskin!! How about a drink?" he said. "What the hell is a smoothskin? You know, I don't even wanna know. A whiskey, if you would." I said while sitting at the counter. These ghouls did have a nice setup going on here. All the ghouls seemed so happy to be here.

The bartender handed me the whiskey I asked for. "This one's on the house, why, I haven't met a smootskin in years. Name's Azhrukal. What about you, friend?" he asked. I popped the cork and began sipping some of the whiskey. "I'm Matt. I've never heard a name like Azhrukal before." I looked around the bar, noticing a shady character in the corner. He had leather armor and a shotgun. "Hey, Azhrukal, who's that guy?" I asked, pointing at the man. "He's my 'bodyguard', if you will.. His name is Charon. Just don't bother him, he's a bit grumpy today." Azhrukal replied.

I chugged a bit of my whiskey and got up. I walked to the guy who claimed to be named Charon. "Hey, pal. How's it going?" I asked. He gave me a grudgy look, then said, "Talk to Azhrukal." I frowned a bit. "Erm, I already did. I wanna talk to-" I said before being interrupted. "Talk. To. Azhrukal." I turned around and went back to the counter. I plopped back onto the seat and drank some more of the whiskey. "I'm not gonna say I told you so." Azhrukal said, smiling. "Hey, know where I can find a place to sleep in here?" I asked. "Well, there's the commons room, there are plenty of stiff matresses there. But they're full of lice. If you have hair, which we don't, and you do, you should reconsider going to Carol's place."

"Lice? Damn, that's gross. Where's Carol's Place?" I asked. "It's right across from here. But this is a better bar. Damn, that Greta is putting up competition, putting a second bar in my town.. If you want a clean bed, I suggest you go there. Or, you can become a resident of Underworld. But that'd cost ya." Azhrukal replied. "Caps? I'm a bit short on that, so I think I'll just rent a bed at Carol's place." I finished my drink and tossed it in the trash can. "Thanks, buddy. See you later, eh?" "Yeah, I do hope so. I haven't seen someone with more than half a brain for a long time." he said, before I left.

I went to the other side, and entered the rooms that were Carol's Place. "Oh! A visitor! A smoothskin visitor! Please, anything you need?" the woman at the front desk asked. I walked up to the desk. "Uh, yeah, I need a room. How much?" I asked. "Well.. We have one open room currently, the bed is cleaned and has sheets. It's three hundred caps, up front." she replied. I fiddled through my pockets, pulling out a small sack of bottle caps, and tossing it to her. "I'm guessing you're Carol?" I said. She nodded. "I guessed. Any people in town I should stay away from? Anyone in particular?"

"Oh, well, Mr. Crowley is a great customer and always comes every day, ordering drinks again and again, providing decent pay for me and Greta. But, he is in fact a bit suspicious and a bit scary. He's always approaching newcomers and asking them to kill people. Please, try staying away from him." I nodded, and took the key she handed me. It had a number four carved onto it. I exited the front desk and found a bed surrounded by makeshift walls. The door had a number four on it. I put the key in and turned, which opened the door. I closed it behind me and tossed myself onto the bed. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

I woke up and left the room I was sleeping in. I really had nothing better to do than go back to the Ninth Circle. I walked back in and was greeted by Azhrukal. "Hey, pal. I knew I'd see you in here again." he said. I sat at the counter. "Yeah, well... Scotch." I said. "Coming right up." Azhrukal replied. He went to his refrigerator and got out a large bottle of scotch. He came back and set it on the table, in front of me.

I gave him a couple caps back, then unscrewed the cork. I took a drink. I sighed a bit afterwards, surprised at how strong the drink was. "I was at Carol's yesterday, and she mentioned something about some guy named Crowley." I said. "Crowley, eh? That old bugger? What about him?" Azhrukal replied. "Well, I dunno. Carol said to stay away from him. What's his story, anyway?" I asked.

"Ah, hell if I know. Came here one day a long time ago, appeared out of nowhere. He never said where he came from, or why he was here. All he said was something about a merc group he was in. A few weeks later he's begging me to take his sniper rifle and kill a list of people. That loon's up to no good. He's not exactly the nicest, either." he said, before attending a new customer.

I took another swig of my scotch, and looked to see who the customer was. Another ghoul, of course. He ordered a plain beer. Noticing how busy Azhrukal was, I began talking to him. "Hey. Know any place of amusemant? I'm not planning on my entire life being in here, sleeping and drinking and talking to Azhrukal." He turned to me. "Oh, you're talking to me? Nobody ever talked to me out of pure conversation.." he said.

"You? You seem like a nice guy, why wouldn't they?" I asked. "Oh, um, well, I used to be a slave. Couple of months ago I ran away.. I don't know how, but I did. I got some guy in Rivet City to take the collar off. When I was a slave, nobody ever talked to me unless they told me what to do or what I needed to clean up. Ever since I got here, nobody really talked to me either." he said, taking another drink.

"You were a slave? I'm surprised your head didn't pop by the time you got past the gates." I said. "Yes, me too. I always wondered why my collar didn't expode. It might've malfunctioned. But please don't mention me to anybody who is or knows of a slaver. Paradise Falls is still looking for me, and I've been trying to keep a low profile." he said. "Me? I wouldn't turn you in. Sure, I might be a Raider, but I still have my standards and morale."

"A Raider? With a sense of morale? This has to be some sort of joke. But thanks anyways. I haven't seen a friendly face since I was six. So long ago.." he replied. I took another long drink and said, "You know, I never did get your name." "Oh, sorry about that. I'm Weston." he said. "I'm Matt. Anyways, I gotta go. My bottle's empty." I said while getting up and tossing the bottle in the trash.

"Wait. I haven't had a friend since I was a slave. And I only had one friend, who was another slave. But she was killed. And now I meet another friend, and you're already leaving.. I want to come with you." he said. "Well, as long as you can use a gun-" I said, then interrupted. "I can use a gun. Always have. I watched the slavers use guns, even had to use them during my escape."

"Well, I really need a hand with my travels. I'm seeking vengeance, but I need a group of people who could help me. If you can use a gun, and if you can take a bullet or two, I'll be glad to let you come with me." Weston thought for a few moments, then said, "Alright. I'm in." I smiled and began leaving the bar, as he followed. He brought his beer with him. "When do you wanna get out of here? I mean Underworld. You said you needed a group, so we need to find people, right?"

I nodded. "Yeah, I guess. Maybe we should head out tomorrow. Rivet City is closest here, so we could give it a try." I said. I began going down the stairs towards the way out, I was going to find something for Weston to kill. Once I left the doors of Underworld, we were back in the main hall. A feral ghoul had been wandering inside. It spotted us, screamed, then ran at us. Weston unholstered a .32, and shot the feral right through the brain.

"Wow, good shot. Direct hit. Well, you've proven to be a good shot from long distances. Maybe you could reconsider to a sniper rifle?" I said. "Man, I had no idea killing for sport could be so.. fun.." Weston said. We went back into Underworld. "Is there any place around here that sells guns or armor?" I asked. "There's Underworld Outfitters. he owner has from clothes to armor, and a selection of guns and ammo. Wanna try there?" Weston asked.

"Yeah, sure. But where is it?" I asked. "Straight ahead, on the first left." Weston replied, pointing in front of us. I began walking. As he said, to the first left was a open door into a room. Outside, there was a sign with the name of the store embedded into it. I walked in. "Oh! Hey, a customer! I haven't had a customer in so long!" the woman at the front desk said as we walked in.

"Well, I'm here to check out your guns. What d'you got?" I asked. "Here, take a look." she said while opening a large crate. I crouched down and inspected the inside. I found a sniper rifle after a few looks. I took up the rifle and set it on the desk. "How much?" I asked. "Two hundred caps." the lady replied. I tossed her a bag of caps, and handed the rifle to Weston. "This is yours, now. Take care of it, and it'll be in top-quality condition." I said.

Weston took the rifle from my hands. He didn't expect the weight to be how much it was. He obviously never held a gun of its kind, but I knew he would grow to have a knack for sniping. We both exited the store. "Wow, this gun is really nice. Maybe I'll put on some decals, paint my name into the side, maybe add a little camo, and it's customized to my liking." Weston said.

"If the gun jams, clean out the barrel and the bullet chamber, then grease it down. That way, you have less jams and the like while fighting." I told him. "Don't worry, I'll care for this thing as if it were my child." Weston replied, smiling. I headed back to the Ninth Circle for a few more drinks. Me and Weston sat at the counter. Azhrukal came up to us. "Matt! I had a feeling you'd become a well-known customer. What'll it be?"

"Vodka for me." I said. Weston asked for a plain beer. Azhrukal came back with both. I tossed him a few caps, and screwed off the cap of the bottle. "Cheers." I said, then chugged a quarter of the bottle. I was becoming a heavy drinker quickly. "I think I might become rich off of you. All you do is come on in and ask for alcohol, and I get caps. Everyone is happy with the outcome." Azhrukal said, laughing.

"You can bet on that. I'll become addicted in no time, then I'll sort of have to come back for more. More money for you." I said. I took a swig of vodka, but before anything else could happen, Underworld's doors burst open, the wood exploding into debris. I dropped my bottle onto the floor by accident, the glass shattering and the contents spilling onto the floor. Several gunshots began going off. I took out my pistol and got up.

Me and Weston peeked out to see who the intruders were. Slavers. "Oh no! [censored], slavers!" Weston yelled. We both got up. I proceeded out and began firing at the unwelcome guests. I blew out the first one's knee. Weston got in front of me. He looked through the scope of his fresh new rifle, and found his first victim. He aimed at the injured Slaver's head, and fired. The bullet was lodged into his skull.

The blood splattered onto the Slaver next to him. Weston shot at the second Slaver, and picked off the final two. "I'll never let them catch me.. I can't and won't. If they come near me, then they'll never catch me alive. I'm going down fighting." Weston said firmly. He put away his sniper as I trotted down the stairs to the bodies. I flipped the first onto his back, and searched his pockets for anything related. I found a note in his shirt pocket, crumpled. I unfolded it. It read,

From the help of spec-ops and locals, we've tracked down a runaway slave.
He was a dumb[censored] ghoul named Weston. He is currently in Underworld. Make your way there, and gun down anyone who gets in your way. We can't let a runaway slave get away. Get a damned collar on him. If refusion continues and becomes a major threat, put him down. But don't make a mess, Eulogy wants his head if you kill him.

I got up and walked back to Weston. I handed him the note. He began reading, and his eyes popped open when he read that they knew is location. His lower lip began shaking, as well as his hands. He crumpled up the paper and tossed it in a corner. "Damn! They know I'm here.. We can't stay any longer.. They know I'm here and if we stay, they're gonna find me!" he yelled.

"You're right.. We have to get out, and soon. Once they figure out their search party is dead and doesn't come back, they'll have squads squirming all over the place. We need to leave today. But wait here.. I gotta say goodbye to a certain bartender." I left Weston at the stairs and entered the Ninth Circle. I approached Azhrukal and explained everything. "Take these caps, and get yourself a gun. If any slavers come in, hide, and kill any that question you or get near you." I said, handing Azhrukal two hundred caps.

"Yeah, understood. I hope we meet again in the future. Good luck." Azhrukal replied. I left, and went back to Weston. "Alright, we need to get out ASAP. Follow me, I know a shortcut out of here. We're heading to Rivet City immediately." I said. I led Weston out of the Museum of History, and we ran towards the outer walls.

Chapter two: Rounding up the Team
-------------------------------------------

Me and Weston made it to Rivet City, without any trouble. I began walking into the metal structure, but noticed the Talons from the previous few days. "Hey, how'd the raid go?" I asked. "Oh, we took out the entire security force, but some civilians began fighting back. That bastard Shrapnel had a Fat Man. Took out Johnny.. All the survivors brought the gate in, and won't open up or exit the ship. Pansies." one replied.

"They won't let anyone in? I needed to go in there.. Oh well.." I slumped onto a chair. "Well, you can go elsewhere to trade, but the nearest town is Megaton, and it's way down the river." he said. "Trade? No, no. I'm assembling a group. My friend was killed by the Enclave.. And I'm going to attack them. But I need a group with weapon experience to help. Ol' Wesley here is my first addition." I said, motioning to Wesley.

"A team? Shooting? Enclave?! This sounds like my kind of setup, I'm in!" the Talon yelled. He picked up his black helmet from the floor and settled it on his head. "Andy Fletcher, demolitions expert. If it goes 'boom' and explodes, I'm the guy for it." he said. I shook hands with him. His other merc buddies looked at him oddly, wondering why he was leaving them. "Let's get a move on. We need to get to Megaton next." I said.

***

We rowed the small boat down the river until it hit shore, only half a mile from Megaton. We hopped out of the boat and began trekking through the dirt to Megaton. We passed a large building, with a sign reading 'Super Duper Mart'. A few Raiders at the empty lot in front were battling with a giant radscorpion, and by the looks of it, they were failing. We kept a good enough distance away from the site.

I turned back to the Talon, who was smoking. "So, what's your story?" I asked. "Who, me? Ain't much to tell. Grew up without parents, the Talons found me as a baby, and taught me how to fight. When I was eighteen, I was decked with the armor and wore the name as one of their own. Then four years of drinking and shooting, here I am now." he said. He took off his helmet and wiped some sweat off of his forehead, then settled the helmet back onto his head.

"What about you? Where'd you come from?" he asked. "Well.. My parents were washed up Raiders, and I had one friend who was also the son of Raiders. When we were both nineteen, our parents shipped us off to Evergreen Mills and we were recruited into them. The entire city was under attack by Muties a week later. We had an all ot war in front of Evergreen Mills. I took a massive blow to the head by a super sledge and was put into a coma.

"I woke up two years later to find my friend was killed by the Enclave along with other Raiders, and I left the place. I ended up in Underworld, found Wes, left and found you. So here I am now." I said. "That's a hell of a story to tell. So, you're seeking vengeance from the Enclave, eh? That's one tough group. I hope you got the supplies to penetrate that armor of theirs." Andy said.

"You're our demolitions expert. Blow 'em apart with a grenade!" I joked. We both had a good laugh. We went over a steep hill, and found Megaton only ten yards away. We quickly got through the gates and appeared into the town, gaping into the earth. "This is where we split up and collect ammo, medical supplies, and a new member. I'll handle the medical supplies, Wes, you go find a new addition to our group, and Andy will handle the ammo." I commanded. We all agreed and went our seperate ways.

I've come up with a http://www.playlist.com/searchbeta/tracks#HTML%20Rulez%20Dood for this Fanfic.. I dunno why, but it should match with the entire storyline of the fanfic and what will happen in the future. Don't listen if you don't like metalcore. :slap:

I went inside Megaton's medical house. The doctor came up to me. "What the hell do you want? You don't look hurt, so make it quick." he said. "I'm here for medical supplies." I told. "By the looks of it, you're just here for your fix. But why the [censored] should I care? I still get money. You want supplies? I just got a crate shipped from Ronto, stimpaks, Med-X, Radaway, you name it, it's in there."

"How much?" I asked. "How mu-.. How much?! Are you kidding? This thing is a fortune! You think medical supplies are easy to come across? I'm charging no less than three thousand caps. Up front." he replied. I searched my pockets for caps, and got out all my money. I only had three thousand, about. I'd be blowing away all of my cash. "You know what.. How 'bout I have a quarter of the amount of supplies in there for five hundred caps?" I bargained.

"Five hundred? You kidding? A thousand for a quarter, no less." he replied, angrily. "[censored].." I muttered to myself. I got out a thousand, as requested, and handed them to him. He opened the bag and inspected them, then looked back at me. "Alright.. Deal.. Get out a quarter of the crap in there. There's a hundred of each, so you only get twenty five of each." he told. I got out an empty brahmin skin sack and filled it up with the medical supplies.

I got what I needed and left. As I got out, I saw Wes at the bar, talking to some of the locals. He was talking to one man in particular, who had a strange weapon. I listened to them talk. "Look, ghoul, I ain't joining in on your little gang unless you got the caps. Which you don't. Thousand caps or more. And I don't think you have that." he said. I cut in. "Yeah, we do." I said, handing the man the caps he demanded.

"Well, Mr. Hero comes to the rescue. And who might you be?" he asked. "I'm the leader of this group. Can you take down an Enclave soldier with that hunk of metal of yours?" I replied. He got up, and began showing his strange hand-held weapon. "This is no hunk of metal.. This is the greatest weapon you've ever seen. Cuts through armor like butter. This.. This is the chainsaw.."

I began inspecting the weapon of his. It had an outstretching blade with chains on the edges, and it was all held by the motor at the lower end. "Alright, mercenary, you're in." I said. "Hell yeah.. When do we get to the killin'?" he asked, flipping on his hockey mask and pretending to chop an imaginary person in half. "When we're ready to go. Which we aren't." When I said that, he flipped the mask back up and put the chainsaw onto his back. "That's no fun.." he said.

After that, we met up with Andy. He had a backpack over his shoulders. "We got the ammo." he said. "So, we ready o get outta here?" I asked. "Yeah, we got everything we need. Where's our next destination?" Andy asked. "Not sure. Just planning on heading north." I said. We all began walking up te hill, then we left Megaton's gates.

Heading north was my only idea. We passed an old neighborhood, and a wrecked school. The only thing we saw for a long time were rocks and sand. But then we came across a large handful of intact houses. We proceeded around, and I noticed a bridge crossing over water. I began walking onto the bridge, but was stopped by a guard I hadn't noticed yet. "Hold it right there! State your business in Big Town."

I sighed. Not another disrespectful rent-a-cop. "I am the president of the Raiders, and these are my clown bodyguards in large suits of invisible power armor. What's it to you?" I said. "Hey, now, no need to get angry.. Just doing my job.. Try not to cause any trouble while you're here.." I walked forward, ignoring anything else he was going to say. The small town had no defenses other than makeshift walls, and the inhabitants were poorly armed.

I approached one of the town's residents. She seemed like she knew her way around. "Hey, what is this place anyway?" I asked. "The toilet of the Capital Wasteland, that's what. Everything that has been chewed up is spit out into here. You best get out of here if you knew what was good for you." I looked at her oddly. "What? What are you talking about?" I asked. "Slavers, Raiders, and Super Mutants annoy us on a daily basis. If I had a gun, I'd shoot myself."

"Well, I guess this was the wrong place to look for a group member." I said, turning around and beginning to leave. "Wait! What did you say?" she asked, putting her hand on my shoulder. "Well, we were looking for group members.." I said, interrupted. "Group? Anywhere but here. Please. I am so sick of this place. It's time to fight back instead of being a pansie like the others here."

I thought about it. She hadn't had a gun before and seemed she wouldn't do best with one. I had an idea. "Say, you don't have any medical experience, do you..?" I asked. "Yeah.. I do.. I was Little Lamplight's old doctor." I smiled. "Welcome aboard. Here's the medical supplies." I said, handing her the large bag of stimpaks and other items. "Thank God.. I'm Lucy, I don't think I have a last name. Everybody just calls me Lucy."

We left the town, set up camp in an abandoned house near Big Town. We brought a barrel inside and light the interior of the barrel on fire, for warmth. The wasteland was alot colder at night. We set up chairs around the fire, and we each explained ourselves. Lucy said she lived in Littl Lamplight. She was their doctor for her entire time there, but was kicked out when she turned sixteen, like all the others. She is th only one in our group with lockpick and hacking experience.

The man who had a chainsaw was named Thomas Young. He was a mercenary for hire, and has worked with some of the most famous mercenary groups. Reilley's Rangers, Talon Company, and number of unnamed groups. He says he found his chainsaw in an old meat factory. How it still works is unknown. He claims he found his hockey mask from a Raider he killed. Says he cut the man in half straight across.

After that and a meal, we went to sleep in the beds already in the home. I sat on the matress, as stiff as it was. It was dirty and had dried bloodstains on it. The mattress itself was as hard as rock. Alot of bugs made their home in an opening in the corner of the matress. I noticed it, then jumped up. The bed was too dirty for me. I dragged a chair into the room, and sat down next to a wall. I leaned back against the wall and fell asleep.

Blurred visions clouded my dream, the day I was put into the coma. I blasted bullets onto the Super Mutants. The one with the super sledge charged me, my gun was empty. The sledge came toward my head, and cracked my skull. I jolted up and off the seat I was sleeping on. The others were looking at me oddly. "You okay, brah?" Thomas asked. I got up and coughed. "Yeah, fine. Just a bad dream.." I got my rifle and my shotgun from the wall and put them onto my back.

Chapter 3:
Raven Rock
--------------

I jumped down from the fence and landed hard onto the car. "Come on, guys, one at a time." They all jumped from the fence. Andy smiled, then laughed. "I never thought I'd see the day! Raven Rock.. If we make it out alive, I could smuggle some supplies from there. Do you have ANY idea how rich we'd be?!! I wouldn't even need to be a mercenary!!" I shook my head. "No, we're not here for the money. Maybe you. But if you try hauling out power armor and laser rifles, you'll just slow us down."

Andy frowned, and looked at me grudgingly. "Fine.. Let's get in and out." he said. I nodded and continued towards the door. I stopped. "Wait a second.. How are we supposed to get past this door? It must weigh tons." I told. Weston inspected. "Yeah, there's no way around that door. Not to mention they got cameras." he said in his high-pitched voice. "You think we could get in through the vents?" Lucy asked. Weston shrugged. "Possibly. We just need to find an opening."

Thomas yelled out, "Already found one!" He had already began searching when we hadn't looked, and sawed through one of the vent openings. We all ran to the opening. "Alright, then. Get in, guys. We'll see where this takes us." I said, sliding in. I didn't realize it was a pretty long fall. I landed hard on my feet, but continued on. I could hear the others fall into the lower part of the vent as well. I looked behind me, seeing them all following me. I continued crawling through, and stopped at an opening. It was a restroom. There was one soldier inside, using the bathroom in the stall.

I unscrewed the bolts of the vent. The Enclave soldier noticed the bolts falling down onto him as he was flushing. He looked hard at the vent, putting his face literally right in front of it. I brought my foot up and kicked the vent throug and onto the soldier's face, knocking him over onto the stall door and breaking it from its hinges. I quickly jumped out and unholstered my pistol. The soldier was still on the floor. I brough my 9mm to his eye visors, and shot several times.

Blood shot out from the open visors, the soldier was dead. I motioned for the others to come down. They all jumped out, and followed me out of the stall. Another soldier walked into the bathroom, whistling. "Hey, Quincy, I heard some noise in here, and you were in here an awfully long time. You doing alright in he-" I quickly ran up to he soldier and knocked him to the floor. I shot him down the same way I did to the other soldier.

The radio on the soldier's chest began going off. It crackled for a few seconds, then the man on the other end said, "Greg, is he alright in there?" I picked up the small radio and clicked the button. I made my voice close to the soldier's voice. "Uh, oh, yeah, one hundred percent fine, yep. No problems here, we're all fine. Here, in the bathroom, I mean."

The man on the other end sighed. "Oh, alright then. Man, did you see Gina today? Lookin' fine.." I clicked the button again. "Uhh, uhh.." I dropped it then shot at it several times. "Alright, you guys ready?" I asked the others. They all nodded, readying their weapons. I turned around and opened the door. I got out my shotgun and slowly walked out into the hallway. A sign dangling from the ceiling read, 'Holding cells <-, Barracks ->' I turned right and continued on.

A soldier came out from one of the rooms, in an officer uniform. He saw me, and reached for his plasma pistol. "Holy shi-" I shot at his head. His head exploded into bits of brain matter and blood, spreading across the area. I opened the door to the room he came out of. There was nobody inside. I closed the door and turned back to the hallway. I ran through a series of emty halls, and came to a wide metal door. I pressed the button next to it. It immediately opened up, allowing me through.

There was a huge tower of wires and cords, with a column of stairs circling it. I led the others up the stairs on a tiring journey. We finally made it to the top, to be greeted by a computer. "Wh- Who are you? Guards, guards!!" it yelled. Weston quickly approached. "Woah, woah, hold it. We're not here to hurt you." he said. "Apparently you don't know who I am!! I am the president! Get out of this facility immediately!!" it yelled with a loud artificial voice. Weston replied, "You don't understand. The Enclave is a lie-the soldiers are evil and insane. You don't want to lead anything like that, do you?"

"It.. It is? They lied to me! I must get rid of this place." the computer said. Weston quickly nodded. "Yeah, yeah, the base DOES need to go." he said. "Initiating code 00845723, self destruct. Please leave the area immediately. Thankyou." The computer shut off, but the bottom of the tower began exploding. "Holy hell, we gotta go. Now!" I yelled, running out. The rest of the team followed. I could hear Andy complaining how we just destroyed a chance for millions of caps. I ignored it and kept running. I turned all the corners, ignoring any soldier in the way.

I looked behind me and saw all the soldiers being blown to bits by a wall of fire closing in. I ran faster. I soon came to a large opening with a sign that read, 'EXIT'. I pressed the button on the door to open it, but it wouldn't work. An electrnic voice said, "Please wait five seconds before re-opening. Thankyou." It kept repeating as I pressed the button over and over. The wall of fire was closing in on us. The door finally opened. I ran as fast as I could push myself out of the base. The main gate swung open as I ran out. I saw a vertiberd getting ready to take off. Colonel Autumn was getting in.

He was the one who called the attack. He was the one who I was after. I got out my rifle and shot at him. He quickly got in the vertiberd and closed the hatch. The vertiberd hovered into the air, then sped off into the depths of the wasteland. "Dammit!" I yelled, tossing my gun down. The rest of the group caught up with me. "Came here for nothing.." Thomas said. I shook my head. "No, Autumn wouldn't have left if we hadn't blew up the base. Now we know Raven Rock is out of the picture." As I said that, a huge explosion came from the base, temporarily deafening. Corpses flew out from the base. "Well, at least we took out alot of Enclave soldiers." Lucy said.
