So, Brink is on the brink of releasing. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting more and more pumped up for the game as the time ticks away.

How are you all feeling as the release day approaches?

I'm pretty much going nuts over this game. Most games got me bored as hell and I don't have that many things to do right now.

I'm still prett excited to play it after all this time. I'm just not doing active research anymore because that would spoil the game a bit.

Everyone so excited as it gets closer. svcking all the energy out of me with these messages.

More focused on my studies right now than being hyped about Brink. No game is worth failing for. Well, that and a Gears 3 beta that unlocks things in the real game that can only be unlocked in the beta...........and I love showing off my equipment.

I'm dreading the day RIGHT before release. Especially considering it's going to be a long day since I wake up at 6am, and I have the most boring lecture of the entire week first thing in the morning. I'm probably going to be all giggly and jiggly and I won't be able to do anything about it.

Pretty excited. Unfortunately my school was supposed to let out for summer break the friday after next but that tornado that hit Georgia and SE Tennessee? Yeah it knocked me out of school for about two weeks and we gotta add on days to make up for it. So my excitement is slightly less since after I sit all day in school, go to Gamestop and pick up my copy and go home to play it I'll go to sleep that night knowing I have school for a couple more weeks anyway.

the problem for me is I am getting tired of waiting, used to lurk the forums all the time. Made time just go to slowly. No I am rarely checking in here, and not looking for videos or updates. Actually is helping the time go by.

Deep in my subconsience I'm really pumped for this game but right now I'm trying to downplay my excitement. Time will only go by slower if I'm sitting there obsessing over it.

Everyday (NOW LESS THAN 10!) I get more and more excited, my clan's talking about it, what were going to do when it comes out. Everyday as soon a I wake up I say to myself (Brink comes out in ___ days!) Everyone I see everyday I remind them everyday "Hey guess how long until Brink!?" My parents are going to be really happy when it comes out and they don't hear me talk about it anymore because I'm playing it! They won't see me for a week XD! After a few days they'll wonder if I'm even still alive lol! I thought Portal 2 would hold me off until Brink, but I beat it already, and I've still got 10 days lol fail! Yes, I get more and more excited for Brink! Still waiting for the next "Get SMART Series" video!

I'm at some point where I'm getting more excited as time passes as well as worried. I want the game to do well and I REALLY want to be able to enjoy this game, as it definitely seems like an FPS dream come - true. I just don't want it to be too good to be true.



Basically I'm a bit scared at this point that I won't like how weapons handle or aim, or something like that. Had a dream involving Brink where I was playing it and the ADS felt like a half-arsed Combat Arms, or where the ADS would constitute of looking at the front sight post and completely disregarding the rear peephole or rear sight entirely. Like the Mini Uzi on call of duty. Whereas if it was aimed like that in the real world, the bullets would be going far above where you need them to be. Honestly, I was sad until I woke up and I realized it wasn't like that.

Otherwise excited.

Pretty much the first option in both questions. It's made worse by the fact there's a ton of time off for British students at the moment, what with bank holidays and royal weddings and the easter holidays just ending... At least with college I have something to take my mind off it. I think after this monday everything's back to normal, though.

I already reached the maximum excitment level so I can get anymore excited. If I did, it would be so great not even Chuck Norris could control it. :ninja:

i dont know why but my feeling of uber excitement for brink ended with finding out about asama bin ladin (spell check that please.)
