Forum concensus does not mean BGS will comply and I don't think they should. Its 'their' game. If 'they' think its cool and reasonable they will probably include it. Can you imagine if other media had forums like this (movies, books, etc) where the fanbase was constantly trying to co-develop the production?

Game is almost done. I believe it would be too late to really implement most of the requests people have. BUT, now they can use this for DLC and or expansion packs though.

in 10 months, 100 people can make alot of things..remember that

It was hopefully at best a typo from the original poll. It now seems to have evolved into a linguistic tumor.

I WANT PIECEMENTAL ARMORZ! :bonk:

Funny how people are still using the typo.

bethesda arnt some indie artist making art in their spare time, they are a company trying to make money. the forum is a key component of their fanbase, why shouldnt they listen to us?

Doesn't really fit, since the majority of fighting will take place indoors.

This is what happens when you give people instant fast travel. They think most fighting takes place indoors.

You are right though, the game is based around dungeon fighting. But there are still bandits in the road, animals and so forth. I don't know why they don't have more missions like "protect the village" or "battle in such and such plain."

If they implemented everything the fans wanted, I'd fear for the game.

While it'd be nice if they took what fans requested into consideration, I'd rather they decide if those ideas fit into their larger vision or not and go with how they see it.

You can add knocking to the original post as that was another unanimously wanted feature.

I keep forgeting that many people are working on the game.

Well lets see. once a game is done, and it becomes Gold, that is what a week, 2 weeks or a month before release? So they actually have less than 7 months to finish the game. The 8th month would be left for tweaking, and one more month to get all the goodies together and ship them out so they are in the stores by 11/11/11. Well that is my guess.

I think they would need at least 1-2 months to find and iron out glitches. (unless that is what your referring to with tweaking)

Don't forget they are going for a world wide release this time too so you can probably add 2 more weeks to the usual print and ship time.

I doubt that it's that near completion. GT5 only went gold about a month before release.

The game is only a year away, implementing any major feature at this stage of development will not happen, I can guarantee that. All these requests are ultiamtely pointless, it's good to let Bethesda know what we want, but they can't add or change a major feature of the game when it's only a year away, less than that in fact.

Nine months. Big difference.

Does anyone know what piecemental armor is? I haven't seen anyone ask for it?

I don't think the desire for a larger world is necessarily 99%. I am pretty sure there is a large portion of us who will be happy with it as long as it is more interesting.

They really mean piecemeal armor (AKA more armor slots or a mixmatched piece of armor from various other armors), its a typo someone used and now everyone's using it.

Because we're a vocal minority and they are on the downhill of development (far side of planning/provisioning). If they haven't included Turkish Bananna Armor by now I wouldn't hold them to it.

As far as I could see there are some Topics andpolls that makes the most of the community agreeing by casting almoust a 100% agreement on polls .... this Includes:

1 Piecemental Armour
The Truth is for me I do not want the full extent that morrowind had in this I think it enabled you to become overpowered to easily
2 Larger World
What I want is a detailed world that I can truely feel a part of, Size is not the big deal to me, Quality over Quantity
3 hardcoe Mode
This would be interesting as long as it is fully optional since aspects of it would just be a pain
4 Boats
I would like to see this considering the amount of rivers shown on their map

May be The developers should be aware of those requests ...

If I have jumped some almoust 100% tell me and add....

I just got 1,790 results. :ahhh:

And we have no idea if piecemeal armor slotting will be in Skyrim... Much to the dismay of us Morrowind fashionistas.

Yeah. Should have suspected something by the fact I suspected nothing. :P Totally the kind of english word I could make up on the spot.

So keeping it too. "Waiting for Skyrim makes me so piecemental".

The only two I care for up there is for a larger world, and piecemeal armour. Mainly piecemeal, as a larger world isn't COMPLETELY necessary, but would be a very, very nice addition.
As for the other two, well I don't have much of an opinion for boats, but I'm strongly against any form of hardcoe mode.
I didn't know those polls are usually in around about 100% favourability towards the hardcoe Mode. I thought it was like 50/50, but I 'spose people are more keen than I thought. I for one, am the kind of person that would change that poll from 100% to a mere 99%.

Yeah, i said less than a year if you had read my post through.

Besides, you're only reinforcing my point, why argue with it if all you're going to do is prove that I am right?
