I'm sure that most of you have probably played a "Faction War" thread game at least once. I was just thinking, that for my first post, that this might be a fun way to enter the forums! I'm a long time FO fan, and have played the originals BEFORE FO3/NV, so I figured that what could be more fun than a interactive Resource War game?

For anyone that is new to the idea, all nations start off with a given number of points. If you decide to help a nation, such as the USA for example, you give them a plus one (by adding on to the amount of the person that posted before you). However, in order to do so, you must subtract one point from someone else's faction, such as those dirty commie Chinese.

The last nation to be around wins. However,is one rule: You have to wait for at least 2 people to go before you, or 12 hours before re-enlisting your help to a nation.

I'll start off, and I will give each nation the given start-off power that I see fit ( :whistling: ), based on what the major players of the world seemed to be in Fallout.

Wait do I just choose a country or what?

If yes I choose Canada

You need to choose a country from above, add one point to it (by copying the list and adding 1 point to the number you wish to add to) as well as subtract 1 point from a different country. The idea is that there is a fixed amount of points, and each country is trying to collect as many as possible. Once a country looses all of their points, they cease to exist.

If you chose Canada to add a point to, you would then need to take away 1 point from another faction. Then, the next person would add/subtract off what you did.

Hope that makes it clearer. So to add to Canada, you must subtract from another nation.

Do I have to quote the countries in your list or just do that?

It would look like this then (you need to copy the whole list, and the next person to play will copy the modified list below and add their own changes to it. They will then post it, andthe cycle continues.):
