Is it going to cost (For PC specifically)? I really don't want it ending up like MW2's map packs which didn't let me play online anymore!

for xbox users it's 800ms points

But for legit PC users I think it's about $15

and it has been released now.

You can buy Crysis (Wars) almost for free. Some days just 5euro's/bucks. Why are you happy with that? Crysis Wars delivers: Free trial weekends, Free Editor, free NEW maps and more. All in ONE package! You pay for a game and wait for the patches, tools and maps for free!

I see some personal reasons that I don't get this. It requires 4! people to start a ranked server. Just hungry stats players going after that. Are you aware of tech issues?

One is that we bought the LE and doesn't work plus we rent a server with cash every month! And the idea to have ranked and unranked servers to not to be able to enjoy other modes. Not to mention that the FTP is blocked and CVars. The ones that are ranked and you can join alone, will be shut down! No clan/team 1vs1 fights, No Scrims against other groups of people. Ammount of people 24/7, falling.

Just a small part. Not even mentioning the flaws alot more exploits that can be used in Crysis 2.

Crysis 2 is Crysis Wars with limits. Server support, where? And pay for maps now Crytek? , oh please undo that and,.... the rest. Mature Admins enough to kick, temp. ban or perm. ban. Or else players will move to other servers. Phoenix auto-kick cheaters!

I decided to buy that stuff after some info popped up about it. But... after so many negative comments about crytek pricing politics i think there is no such a point of buying it. Obviously there will be no-one to play it with. And could any of you explain to me the exact way how those maps will be represented in lobby after release. Or perhaps there will be dedicated servers specially only for them? Or maybe they will be randomly selected as original ones while being in lobby?

Servers must be updated with the map pack in order to play them.. So basically the server admin must purchase the Map Pack. It may take up to 2 weeks before a lot of admins finally fork out the cash. Currently the amount of servers updated with these maps is very low. I have only seen like 10 players so far in those maps, on 1 server. I payed the 10 dollars for a new experience. They are very fun to play. Especially Park Avenue. There's like 2000 servers. And only 150 of them are regularly populated. People prefer servers that have Admins who have the software capabilities to ban hackers, since Crytek can't seem to get a grip on those since day 1.

So in summary, expect approximately 25 servers with the new maps by next week. Worth the 10 dollars I tell ya. If your server seems to be lacking population with the regular maps, then this might be a good time to attract new players, just don't be an admin if you don't play the game. Admin-less servers are FAIL.

I think hackers will kill the population well before they're taken care of. So... the clock is ticking.

If you are a good Admin with a Hacker Ban function for your server, I will lend you the 10 dollars to get started LOL... jk.. but still.. I mean I shake my head everyday still. Some hackers even brag about what they can do.... I'd love it if Crytek had servers in each demographic sector that their own staff could admin 24/7 to actually catch hackers and just humiliate them in front of other players before disabling their Account Key. That would be sick.

Crytek didn't fail, everyone else failed each other. They cant tell people what to buy. Funny thing, I've noticed a community within a community, so far i've only recognized the best players are in the new DLC maps, meaning no noobs. , better for me I guess.

Okay, if you think that 2.50$/map is a good price, fine. Then you probably think a real addon adding 50% new content for 300$ would be also a justified price (as it would have the same price/content) while everyone else would stop at 30$ for a normal addon (half the content of the original, half the price - plus it needs the original). Just like it used to be until five years ago.

Shall I make a list:

Hundreds of maps on Crymod of Crysis 1 and Wars. For free.
Limited Edition codes fail.
Paying for servers (and that is every month).
Exploits that aren't fixed.
Crysis Hacks and Cheats are still working.
No content on FTP nor that they can prevent hacks by 3rd parties.
E.A. servers that are ranked, but aren't. Wonder what happen if they are gone.


We have never ever payed for Crysis series till now, for anything and nothing or what ever content. pay for maps now? Do you know how much time is spend by the community and nothing is charged?
