The return of Sheogorath? yes or no?

Post » Wed Oct 19, 2011 3:14 am

I personally think Sheogorath was probably the coolest NPC that ive come acrossed. Would love to see his return at some point, he is fairly similar to Loki anyways, and that kinda fits in right?

Maybe some sort of Easter egg mentioning him. But nothing more.

No. His own expansion pack was enough. Though we might hear his voice if we find a shrine of his.

Correct me if I'm wrong... but didn't the Sheogorath you interacted with become Jyggalag after you yourself became Sheogorath?

There's an achievement for collecting 15 Daedric artifacts and we saw in a preview that there is a quest to

Spoiler
reforge Mehrune's Razor from its shards, which is unfortunate because I was hoping to actually do a quest for him like we could in Morrowind, but oh well

so it's very likely that we'll be seeing Sheogorath again. The Champion of Cyrodiil mantled Sheogorath and enough time has passed that anything remaining of his/her original personality will probably be completely gone by now. Jyggalag, having figured out a way to subvert/delay the cycle for a bit, will still be free and probably not powerful enough to do much of anything on Nirn, let alone have any followers in his service, so I think it's safe to say that yes, Sheogorath will have a presence, and that it will likely be in the form of a Daedric shrine quest.

You killed his mortal form but he is still alive as Jyggalag so you didn't kill him forever, but i would think a shrine to Jyggalag would be up not one to Sheogorath, but never know.

you cant kill a deadric prince, you defeated jyggalag's form. sheogorath had a back-up plan when he put you on the throne anyway (he had too, he is mad like a fox)

besides, sheogorath is one of my chosen princes! if he does not have a shrine i will desicrate the alters and shrines of every other deity, and spill the blood of their followers, making skyrim run crimson red (of course, being my other chosen princes, hircine and azura will be spared)....im a very devout follower of the mad god

Lol, dont get me wrong, i loved the guy, but i dont think i could deal with his wacky antics again. IMO, really, leave the memory as it is. Though it would be a trip if you could pull a mass effect, and have your old character as the new prince. Not entirely sure if that meant i was immortal or somethin but its an interesting idea.

its not like we will get to see what he has done with the isles, it will be like in venilla oblivon at his shrine quest (but i really really really really really hope they fix that annoying voice all the princes had, the males were increadably annoying, but azura's was okay)

Umm Sheogorath was in truth Jyggalag. He was just turned by other princes to mad god Sheogorath. Champion of Cyrodil broke the curse and freed Jyggalag and i think he become Sheogorath himself, thats not certain though. I think instead of Sheogorath shrine, were gonna have Jyggalag shrine or maybe there will be Sheogorath shrine but with new mad god ( Champion of Cyrodil).

I will throw my Skyrim in the trashcan if there's no Sheogorath in it. I think Sheogorath is the best NPC in TES series. I have liked Sheogorath since I got familiar with TES when they released Morrowind. Shivering Isles even made me to like him more (if possible), and it made me quite a sad to see him to transfer in Jyggalag. Sheogorath should be there or shouldn't he? Anyway Skyrim is not his realm but he's real in Skyrim.

first off, you cant kill daedra... they can NOT die... they're immortal, the most you can do is break their physical manifestations.

also, you fought jyggalag, not sheogorath... and all you did was defeat his physical body, sending his soul back into the waters of oblivion, in which he'll regain his full power and reform himself once again.

now back to the topic... i would love to see sheogorath reform himself once again, but i dont think he needs to play a part in this game... maybe just his voice, letting us know he's back and ready to ruin more minds again, that'd be perfect.

i would love to hear some dialogue from him during a daedric shrine quest... sheogorath is the greatest daedra prince, and should definitely come back somehow.

out of all the gods in TES... sheogorath is the one i love the most.

...i suddenly find myself craving brain pie... care to donate?

I got an idea! It would be great if there's Sheogorath's shrine quest where the reward is a new shout which will make everyone who hear it to crazy.
