EDIT: I think this is going to be cool, because it's taking too long!!!

The feeling is mutual, friend.

But we should discuss this somewhere else, I'm afraid. I'll send you a PM? Catch up?

I'm quite interested in being a dissenter Lord... I realize you want to get this up as soon as possible, but I don't suppose you could you quickly explain what sort of things the Lords would do? If you'd rather just get the RP on it's way, I could always join after it's started.

Say, would anyone here mind taking over Gerrard? I'm going to be away for a while and I was thinking someone could control Gerrard without me. Any takers?

Well, all sorts of thing. You might hire out (discreetly and making sure it never came back to you) to some bandits or brigands to have them do nefarious things, or call in an Agent or Commandant to mess with a region. Say your Anvil's Shadow Lord.

Your objective is to get Anvil's Unrest to hit 100, right? So you find ways to make chaos. Example: An emissary from the Shivering Isles has come to discuss the boy-cott with the Countess of Anvil. He allegedly, according to some rumors (as it is very secretive) has a way to convince them to buy goods from Anvil. Making the meeting go awry may be worth about 5 points.

If you can, say, try to blame things on the Mages/Fighters Guild (pull off heists and try to make it look like they did it) that would also create Unrest.

There are also many guilds not present in the game that you may be able to use/manipulate/pit against one another, as you can do with the Mages and Fighters.

You can also arrange for dignitaries to be assassinated. Perhaps the local sheriff of a town outside Anvil is well known as an upholder of justice (remember, you're also responsible for the region around and in this game it's the size of a real country). So, you have him whacked. Maybe buy a player agent, maybe you arrange for some bandits to hit him, who knows?

Also: You can approach me with your own ideas. You'll have access to large sums of money and the Eyes & Ears of The Dissenters.

All in all, it should promise to be interesting and unique. Should challenge your problem solving skills :hubbahubba:

If no one else does, I will. I'll try to keep him to the style that you've set up and according to your bio: Valant and Knightly.

Sounds good. I'll start working on a character sheet - feel free to start without me, though.

Durza, sure, how long are you planning to be gone? Would you mind if he met my character (don't worry, I won't do anything evil to your character, or have him do anything that conflicts with his character description, lol)? It just looks like my character and yours are both headed to Skingrad before anyone else, and I don't think at this point that I want mine to get too close to actually killing the count.

That's a good idea, so The Dissenters will at least expect something when assailing the count.

Name: Lord Valgus Umbrox
Age: 32
Race: Imperial
six: Male
Appearance: Fairly pale skin, not particularly muscular but at the same time not overweight. Of a fairly average build, with long hair as well as a small black beard around his mouth.
Misc. Appearance: Wears several rings on both hands.
Height: Average to short in height.
Apparel Worn Most Often: Generally wears fine clothes of silk and other expensive fabrics.
Armour: Does not often wear armour, although he does possess a ceremonial suit of the finest steel from Somerset Isle.
Other Apparel: He is into jewellery and other displays of wealth about his person, such as rings and bracelets and amulets. Generally wears jewelled rings on both hands and a golden amulet about his neck.

Eye Color: Deep brown
Hair Style: His hair is long and wavy, as well as clean, shiny and well maintained.
Hair Color: Black.

Skills: A very able speaker with a great understanding and aptitude to politics.

Weapons: Carries a steel long sword at his side, although he uses it rarely. It's mainly just for display.
Equipment Sack: None. When travelling, it is usually by horse and carriage.

The Heroes or the Dissenters?: Dissenters

Rank: Lord of Shadow

Why are you there?: For years, Umbrox had toiled for the Empire diligently and dutifully as a member of the Elder Council. However, he feels he has made no progress in his profession, and is still in the same place he started. It is clear to him that to gain power he will need to seek advancement through more unorthodox channels, and the Empire's current fragile situation is the perfect environment in which to seek it.
Background Information: Inherited his council seat from his father after his untimely death. He is also one of the youngest members of the council and is often ignored by the older, more renowned councillors.

Sweet, two things,

1.) We have to pick where you're in charge of. The Imperial City may make sense, but it's hard and has 100% Resilience with Ocato home. That means it's going to be the hardest, adn should probably be the last in Cyrodiil to fall.

2.) Do you still hold your seat in the council of elders or have you quit? (You could be a secret Dissenter...)
