The Robco Journey

Backstory:
Robco was looked at as a robotics company only, but was much larger than that. On the day the bombs fell, the more important leaders of the branches, such as the corporate espionage, the research wing, the private security force, and the many other wings that existed had met at a secret bunker in the outskirts of Detroit, and gotten in, not knowing what would await them when they got out. The survivors have just climbed out after the toxic rain and now know that they must get to the Robco HQ in Houston, which is the only way to find out where their family and friends are, and what happened. You must work together to get to the HQ and anything less will get you killed. You may face mutated creatures that will make your worst nightmares look like a dance in a sunny field. There will be bandits and raiders, even Chinese spies.
This is the Robco Journey.
Rules:
  • No Uber characters, if you need help, look at the” So you think you can RP” thread.
  • If you control other characters than you will have an exit post made and you will not come back.
  • Stay inside your character sheet, a scientist can’t go crazy with a Minigun.
  • Stay normal, you won’t find a Minigun in the trunk of a car, if you find it in a National Guard Armory that is okay.
  • You will not be able to just say”, everyone get down there is a raider with a stealth boy around the corner,” nobody can see the future”, I hear slithering up ahead be careful,” is okay, it is real.
  • All posts must be at least one paragraph (4 sentences min.).
  • All posts must be detailed and in depth, if you just say”, Bob saw a centaur and shot it,” then you will get 1 warning, and then the other leader or I will make an exit post FOR you, and you cannot come back.
  • If you cannot go further than please make an exit post, and you will still be able to return, if you do not make an exit post then the one that will be made for you will have you die, and you CANNOT return.
  • Do not argue with the team, this is a TEAM Rp and you have to work together, not kill each other.
  • Use correct grammar and spelling if you can, you will not get kicked if you make a small mistake but if you say EZ instead of EASY, you will get one warning.
  • Don’t do anything you wouldn’t do in real life (Killing bandits and such is ok, but not jumping off a bridge to escape bandits).
  • Have fun and play nice.

Appearance: Looks like a person who would not talk at any chance and is very cold. On a first look, you would think Albert could stare down a Lion with his icy eyes and then tackle it to the ground. Stays very clean when possible but still has a sense of being jumpy.

Personality: Is very social to those he knows well but is very nervous near new people. Loves to talk and is hilarious near friends but is skittish near new faces. Albert tries to avoid public speaking because of his anxiety near new people. Albert’s parents were divorced when he was a child and he hides his insecurity by joking around and being absorbed in his work. He swore to never drink or smoke and always got straight As in his science classes and was a prodigy in Energy Technology.

Background: Albert was born in 2046 in Charleston; his father was a Scientist just like Albert would be some day and his mother was a Florist. Albert got good grades and was always designing energy technology in his sketchbook. Albert began taking summer internships at Robco and loved it. Albert went MIT and graduated, ready to join Robco. He worked his way up to be the leader of the Energy Tech division of Robco. He went to the secret bunker near Detroit thinking it was just a business meeting, but soon found out what the bunker really was, yet it was too late to go back to Charleston, and wound up getting ready for the journey to Robco HQ.

The next person to post a character sheet will be the other leader and will help moderate the thread. The Thread has not officially started; we are just posting character sheets right now. You only get ONE warning if you break a rule.

Sounds like a good RP, here is my character.

Hair Color: Light Brown
Eye Color: Dark Blue
Skin Color: White, almost Pale
Body Build: Athletic, but not extremely muscular.
Appearance: Looks like someone who is strong and well disciplined. Looks like someone you'd want to be stuck with if the [censored] hits the fan. He looks like a sort of father figure.

Personality: John is a mostly happy and caring guy. He tries not to show fear in tight situations (even if he's freaking out in his head) to inspire his teammates. He can be a real funny guy but he can also be quite serious when there is a task to be done. John is very patient although he does not tolerate stupidity and will usually scold you for making rash decisions.

Background: John was born in D.C. in 2040. His dad worked for the FBI and his mom was a school teacher. Although he rarely saw his dad growing up, he always wanted to follow in his father's footsteps. John proved to be very intelligent throughout his school career and had mostly straight A's. After graduating from NDU, he was enlisted into the Navy. After four years he was discharged and started working for Robco as a security officer. Right before the bombs fell, John was sent to Detroit to provide security at a secret bunker, for the scientists, engineers, and corporate "Big Wigs". John had known that they were preparing for an evacuation, but he didn't know that the bombs would fall so soon. Now he's tasked with helping his team reach the Robco HQ in Houston in one piece.

Let me know if anything needs to be fixed.
