Excerpts from ReadMe:
This mod adds The Sable Dragon Inn, south of Hla Oad at the mouth of the Odai River. There are 13 miscellaneous quests that you can find, and about 6 smaller mini-quests as well. Some quests will only be made available after completing others, and some will be found along the way.Suggested starting level, 1-5- Tribunal and Bloodmoon are required.- Compatible with Vality's Bitter Coast mod, as long as it loads BEFORE The Sable Dragon.esp- Compatible with Necessities of Morrowind (NoM) but it must load AFTER The Sable Dragon.esp- If you use Vality's BC Grass mod, there are very small instances where the grass will be out of place around the Inn, but causes no problems.- Tested alongside many mods, and I found no conflicts. Let me know if you do find one.

Complete details are in the full ReadMe.

Lots of adventure and exploration, with new rewards for all types of characters.
Scripted events and traps.
Many unique NPCs with dialog to read.
Includes a lot of resource files, which makes it big. But I made the diverse mod that I wanted to see and play. Hopefully others will enjoy it too.

There is no discernible 'end' since the quests can be mostly done in any order, but even when you think you've done everything, there's probably still more to find.

I will not discuss major spoilers in this thread, but I can't stop it if you do, just please hide them with the black spoiler bar.

I didn't know you modded.. I saw you a lot but I will download this and try it out. You seemed to be very knowledgeable in all your comments in the forums and on PES, so I look forward to seeing one
of your creations.

I haven't played any quests yet, just spent some time hanging out on the tavert chatting with the npcs. I'm always dissapointed when I try a new quest mod, and it turns out none of the npcs have unique dialogue outside of quests, so I definitely like a lot what I've seen and read so far.

Some meshes have texture paths that only work for games that are installed in the default location for certain versions of the game, i.e.:

The default location for the Swedish version is c:\program\bethesda softworks\morrowind\data files\textures\, but this will of course also give problems for those who have the game installed in any different location than the default one. IIRC, it's better to just have a general path, such as \bethesda softworks\morrowind\data files\textures\ or perhaps even less is needed (i.e. \textures)?

I couldn't agree more, it's annoying to have to move things from the "program files" path to my custom one when I run into installers. I can't speak about the mod because I haven't tried it yet, but it is as easy as changing the texture paths in nifscope to "textures/...".

I'll do that.

EDIT: Yes, that worked fine.

I've only checked out the inn very briefly, but I like it so far. It strikes a nice balance between adding new items and keeping the Morrowind feel.

This was a lot of fun. It's nice have a large quest mod that is geared to lower level characters.

Except for the texture issue mentioned above, I didn't not encounter any errors or conflicts with my other 200+ mods.

There were two minor things you might want to address if you release an update:
1) In Dazi's two journal entries, her name is misspelled as "Daxi".
2) If you mention the topic "stashes" to Isadora Foxtail before completing her quests you get additional sets of keys.

So congrats and thank you for a job well done - this is a keeper.

Thank you for explaining why these textures were not working for a few people, while mostly working for others.
So how exactly do I fix this?
Now, the textures are just in the Texture folder, no subfolder. Or is it a problem with the main folder path? Which is now "The Sable Dragon/Data Files/etc"

Doesn't a Manual installation bypass the problem?
Thanks for the tips.

Just change the texture paths for qf_De_Bed_06.nif and qf_De_Bed_06.nif from
c:\program files\bethesda softworks\morrowind\data files\textures\... to
textures\...

(i.e. just delete the c:\program files\bethesda softworks\morrowind\data files\ part)

Do I do this to the two Meshes or all the listed Textures?
Also, how do I do this?

I only got warnings for those two so I'd guess the other ones are OK, although I haven't checked them.

1. Load the .nif in NifSkope.
2. Check the NiSourceTexture entries. They have a small purple flower that shows the texture/texture path.
3. Doubleclick on it and then you can change the path (i.e. delete the unnecessary path info in this case).
4. Save. Done.

I'm a total noob on NifSkope so someone might point out a simpler way to do it.

I could PM you the fixed .nif's if you want btw.

Nah, that's how it's done. It's pretty simple if you ask me.

For quick hacks like this I find NIFTexture much easier to work with than NIFSkope. It only allows for changing the textures, but has the advantage of not showing all the NIF's extraneous information that NIFSkope shows.

It can be, but Niftexture won't open most custom meshes. It'll open Beth meshes though.

Also fixed...

Available at http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26870 now. Includes updated Mesh path. If you are one of the people having problems with that, please re-install the Mesh folder.

Both PES and TESNexus downloads now have the corrected Mesh paths for the beds.
If you encountered errors when you entered the Inn, please download and install them again.

If you had no errors, then you are fine.

Have fun!

Thanks to Arkngt for the help. And if they don't work, we can blame him. (Just Kidding :P)
