The sad/confusing thing about Brink

If you sit and watch the container city gameplay last year in my oppinion it looked better then the accual game did. it looked like it had better visual, more action, explosions, and I like the AI and voices. Overall I think they should not have changed it as much as they did.

Yea thats how I was, and anyone who would like to watch and reply it is 3 parts just type brink container city on youtube. but if they did every level with what I saw in the video it looked to me it would be more enjoyable.

The _only_ change that I noticed that I'd prefer they'd done slightly differently is the chatting between NPCs at the begining of the game. But you could only really do that in single player. The rest of it either doesn't look as good as what we have now or looks the same.
The visuals look about the same to me. The action is about the same as a good game between evenly matched sides. They've toned down the explosions and dust and that's a good thing for gameplay reasons.

Are you guys PC players?

I would get pretty frustrated if I had to sit through that at the beginning of every round. I like how they switched it to a cinematic you can skip.

I like the skippable cinematic too.
If they did go with the chatty AI they could have done it similar to L4D but since at the start of a round everyone rushes off it kinda wouldn't have worked.
Overall: I prefer what we have now thanks.

I don't think it looks _that_ different. But then again I hardly take the game as slowly as they seem to in the video ^_^ I'm normally charging off as soon as I can because those seconds count so much.
I have to see if I can create an empty game just so I can look around a bit some time.
