Post » Fri Apr 16, 2010 6:14 pm

I have spent 89,90 € for the collector (near 125$) and now after less of 5 days I'm stuck in the game, I cannot go on because the saved game corruption (in come fly with me and more quests)

I have enought.... IT IS ENOUGHT!!!

you released not a bugged game, a bugged came have problems but you can play it.... this is totally broken!

I know that I have no way to have my money back so I have at least the RIGHT to ask you to fix this damn game!

I admit that it is a very good game (it is always fallout 3 after all and I have it too) but it is not a good thing! because it is soo good that YOU WANT TO PLAY it, YOU PAYed to play it and you cannot do it!

it 26/10/2010 today and after the single and alone post of the developers on 22/10/2010 we had no updates on the next patch!!!! IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!

you got our money now give us A WORKING GAME!

P.S. sorry for the bad english but I?m from Italy.

Yesterday they said they're still working on it.

We've got our teams investigating this save issue that you're discussing. As soon as I have any information to share with you guys on updates, I'll let you know. If you've missed it, here's what our senior producer wrote on the matter late last week:

Honestly, they should be trying a lot harder.

Releasing a game in this state is O.K if you release a patch that fixes all game breaking/serious bugs/glitches within a few days..

It's been more than a few days.

They are going to miss out on so many sales(people will sell New Vegas back to the store because they can't play it - Not to mention the thousands of people that don't have a internet connection and don't even know what a patch is.. they will 100% return it) and then people will buy second hand copies so they miss out on so much $$

They are also going to miss out on DLC sales because people will not buy it because they have either sold the game/given up on it because of all the bugs.

At the end of the day this is probably the best RPG I have ever played but the bugs change everything.

I know that post, he said just that they are still working on it (it cannot say something of different) and linked the post of 22/10 of senior producer..... so the last official news on the patch is of 22/10....

4 days and no solution no real work around (just do not do that quest..... ridicolous).

It seems that the real programmers of the engine are not bug fixing tthe game!!!!!! they have not idea of what is going on!!!!!.

A SO BIG BUG that cause save games corruption (EVERY SAVE GAME FROM THAT POINT ON) and crash of the game if you load it (the game reboot) is near impossible to not be noted during the beta testing but is impossible that after near a week of checks no one was able to understood what is causing it and how to fix it or at least to workaround it!

People thinking Bethesda and Obsidian didn't know about bugs like this before releasing it are being naive. They both knew, they just didn't care.

Saying a game can be released like this is 'okay' if it's patched after a couple days is foolish. A game should never be released like this. As for the save problem this solution 'may' help but just as a warning it does not help everyone. http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1128690-your-corrupt-files/
