The Sayings of Maiq the Liar

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 10:13 am

I guess I'm done because it's just going to be about getting the last word in. Whatever.

"M'aiq doesn't understand why people compare Vvardenfell with Cyrodiil. That's like comparing horses and brussel sprouts. Most people would find it silly to argue why one tastes better than the other."

"M'aiq is glad that he is not bothered by powerful warriors until he has sufficient skill to face them. M'aiq extends his thanks to them for being so kind."

Why doesn't anybody bash Morrowind for removing Daggerfall's fast travel system? We should be glad that Oblivion brought this feature back :)!

"Maiq have met many interesting characters in the past, but Maiq forgets how they look like, or even their names."

In Daggerfall, it is vital for the use of fast travel just to get around places. We are talking about a game size of England; it would take forever to get to Point A to Point B, with in a said province. Even the environment isn't that please looking.

Not to mention that in Daggerfall, there also some options of how ya like to travel, whether its reckless or being safe, camping out or staying in an inn, or even using a ship. It requires money or something in sacrifice just to use the feature.

Greatest.
Post.
Ever.

I'm still laughing from its pure awesomeness.

This is an edit from a previos post of mine.

"M'aiq hears of people who want staffs that shoot rocks instead of Magick. But M'aiq thinks that they are crazy. Wouldn't a Fireball would hurt more than a rock."

Its about how caboodles of people* want to have guns (like a flintlock pistols) in TES:V.

*Caboodles of people does NOT exactly mean a majority of them, just a decent amount of people.

"Maiq doesn't understand why people argue. Why bring hate to the world when one could bring peace?"

Guys, tone down the dike jousting and incitement to cause a flame war

I was just poking fun with the teleportation thing, so sorry if I offended anyone.

As long as it's funny, it's kosher. Me saying that was more pointed towards Aphotic and Shiggy49 for trying to start something, and Qawsed Asap for taking the bait (sorry for singling you three out, but stop it)

*Ahem*

,,M'aiq heard that people complain that its too easy to travel those days. There's nothing stopping them from just walking where they want or dropping the money to feal some wierd kind of satisfaction. Actually, M'aiq thinks leaveng him the money would be the best solution :)''

About people complaining about fast-travel.

,,M'aiq thinks trains dont fit in our time. Boats and cannons, sure, but trains are just wierd.''

Not a Oblivion referance. Cookie to whatever figure out what game it is :)

"M'iaq wonders why women want to wear pants and men want to wear skirts, it is so strange..."

"M'iaq thinks people who want to wear no armor and fight are weird, how does clothing protect you? M'aiq is very dissapointed with these people who such fools!"

"M'iaq wonders if there are people who talk about M'iaq. M'iaq hopes these people don't, otherwise they are very strange and they are also fools!"

"M'aiq wonders why people want 64 bits, when a nice fur trim is only 2. Hairy, hairy people?"

Making fun of people on 64-bit Windows (me)

"Why ask for details of broken dragons? M'aiq prefers his dragons in one piece."

For people wanting more delving into the lore. (again, me)

"Some wish to serve the Daedric Princes more than once. M'aiq thinks it is wiser not to draw Vaermina's attention"

About longer questlines for each of the Daedra. (which could be a very cool thing to play, but I don't expect to see in TES V)

"M'aiq thinks that the Fourth Era is not the Third and should not aspire to be so."

Just an overall comment.

"M'Aiq does not understand why the Imperials and Dunmer censor the body. These permanently glued-on britches chafe M'Aiq's unspeakable parts. M'Aiq has been told that such a silly law does not exist in High Rock and Hammerfell."

"One time, on M'aiq's birthday, a lich decided to come to my party. Luckily a nice person told me about it, so M'aiq looked away before M'aiq could see it."

It doesn't concern any problems, but it is based on two of M'aiq's old quotes from Morrowind.

Agreed, Daedroth's did look cooler and stronger, but they weren't that strong IMO,
