I have no idea if this is a spoiler. I almost wish it were:
I was busy decorating Severin Manor to suit my tastes, including dumping loads of metal and leather in the smithy. I’d placed my left-over ‘door’ claws in a display cabinet in the main room, and taking advantage of the many display devises in this home, put an ebony shield over the bed, and outfitted the four manikins in my finest unused sets of armor and robes, surrounded by enchanted trophy weapons. One, at one side of the door, I dressed in full Dragon Priest armor, and one, at the other side of the door, in my Arch Mage robes which I had now replaced with even better robes. I then started mounting weapons and shields in the enchanting room…
I am alone in the manor, and also alone in my house in reality with a whisky to hand. It is night in both places, very quiet, and I have not a care in the world. Standing back and admiring my work, I decide to switch the shield in the main room with another to match one in this room. I go into the main room and head for the bed. Something feels slightly askew at this point, but I ignore it. I take down the shield and start back towards the door … then I realize
The Arch Mage manikin has moved several feet and is standing almost directly in my path, staring at me with its blank straw face.
There are no words...
I am now drinking more whisky and writing this account rather than venturing back into the game or the Manor, both of which I left in quite a hurry.
