A quick search for similar threads yielded no enjoyable results. If there is, in fact, already a thread for this then please link it and mods feel free to remove/lock etc etc.

Well the Title really says it all, what is known about the magic school of Illusion at this point?
I realize that there may not be much info (the things about magic Ive heard are really only that mysticism is gone, and the new way spells are cast. I.e. fireball/flamethrower/fire-rune) but every little piece of info would be appreciated!

Thoughts and ideas about Illusion in general would also be nice! ^^

i think, if you get "blind" cast on you, you will see pretty flowers.

Ok, I guess one has to be patient then.
Im mostly just interested in how they're going to apply this new "one spell can do many things" aspect into illusion.
Perhaps making for example invisibility a spell without a set duration etc.

Well we know there is a "fury" spell, which is probally replacing the illusion spell frenzy. Other that that I got nothing, I suspect we will see the return of many of the old spell, but revamped to accommodate the new magic system. Illusion & conjuration are my favorite skills, I wish they would give us some info.

1. Train Illusion to 100
2. Learn "Calm Dragon" spell
3. ???
4. Profit.

Illusion was my favorite skill in Oblivion. There's something about turning your enemies against each other whilst hiding in the shadows that just makes me tick xD...



Haha , more like "2. Learn "Command Dragon" spell" ?

I think the Detect life spell may go into the illusion category. But its only a guess, unless someone has a more lore friendly choice.

Either that or Alteration, any others just dont make any sense IMO.
