They're racist jerks and up until the time of Oblivion, they were slavers, and they're elves. As far as I see it, that's all the reason anyone needs not to like them to me. Not much of a fan of Nords either, but they're better than Dunmer at least since they're just bland and cliche. They don't appeal to me, but they're fairly harmless. So for me, Nords win by being the less unappealing option.

True, but it depends on the context of what you're talking of. If you're talking about who you think are the nicest, kindest race around, then Dunmer finish bottom of the pile. On the other hand, if you're talking about who you think is the best to play as, then Dunmer over Nord IMO.

Nords all the way. Elves are overrated. Nords are a race that get drunk and go kill beasts and go pirating because they feel like it, Dark Elves are just a bunch wussy slavers who are to lazy to do their own work.

Of these two? Nords. But prefer Bosmer for their "petiteness", although I despise their old traits. When I play Bosmer, I tend to forget and forgive that.

I voted Dunmer although I love Nords. I feel that the Dunmer are just more rich in culture, and they just feel more badass, especially after reading The Infernal City. They also feel more versatile, but I still think Nords are great as well.

Nords will still always be my favoured race for my favoured playstyle though, which is being a warrior. I prefer Dunmers for spellsword/sorcerer characters, which I might try out since I've always liked summoning stuff and the new magic looks cool.
