The Skyrim logo, is the Akavir Banner ? : V

I was just watching around the Uesp, when i noticed that the Akavir banner looks exactly like the Skyrim Logo, Do you think there will be a Akavir Invasion or some kind of Akavir influence ?

It's also the banner of the Septim Empire, as seen everywhere in Morrowind and Oblivion and as introduced in Redguard.

The only key difference is that the new logo misses the Diamond on the top, which is believed to represent the Amulet of Kings.

The Morrowind logo doesn't look exactly like the Akavir Banner...

BUT

The Skyrim logo does.

Yep, I noticed this when I first saw the trailer. Its been speculated that the Akaviri are invading, which is what I believe. But is also the symbol for a number of other things and other games.

It's the Septim Empires logo, but it's damaged. someone posted a hi-rez picture of it in one of the trailer breakdown threads.

Yep, I don't think the logo is evidence of Akaviri involvement at all. This isn't to say they can't also be involved but I'm guessing that's the Imperial icon we're seeing, not something Akaviri.

Unless the two events are connected I wouldn't expect the game to involve dragons re-emerging and a coincidental invading Akaviri army.

It's certainly a theory that's floating around, and it remains up for debate.

There is a dev reading this thread, though, which is certainly a sign that they're checking out what we're talking about.

As hints go it would be kinda shockingly blase to have just thrown that one out there at the start and close of the trailer!

Actually, Ravanger is correct. The banner is Akaviri-inspired, but there is no actual proof it has ever actually been used to represent Akavir itself.

There is not enough evidence to say there will be Akaviri invasion/influence. Therefore, I doubt it, but TES has done some wild things.

They are very connected, Tosk Raka leader of the Ka Po' Tun (Tiger-like people) of the Akavir continent, was the first to be able to turn into a dragon (the dragons were extinct at the time thanks to the very destructive war between the Ka Po' Tun and the Tsaesci), and his plan was to kill the Tsaesci and to invade Tamriel...

And the logo is not the Tiber Empire Logo is the Empire Logo (Duh!!), what I mean is that Reman Cyrodiil was the forger of the empire, not a Septim, and from his alliance with the Tsaesci The Blades were born, and there are rumors that the logo of the empire was an old Akavir simbol....
