Well done.

Slower progression makes for a much more enjoyable game experience in my opinion. In several months time, you'll probably have a much fonder opinion on Skyrim than those people who fast-travel everywhere to complete quests, or those who's level matches or exceeds the numer of hours they've put into the game.

ah so you're savoring the gameplay, good to know. that's how elder scrolls should be experienced. not rushed through like any old shooter.

Lvl 28, 62 hours in. I'd say that fairly reasonable considering lvling is getting a lot slower now I have found what skills to specialise in.

A million times better than Oblivions way of doing things anyway. :celebration:

I'm having a hard time understanding the local concensus regarding "rushing through a game". A majority of players will finish Skyrim in 50-60 hours, that's a vast amount of playtime in comparison to "any old shooter" that clocks in at 4-5 hours. I don't have any experience of the old TES games and I understand that a lot of you have been looking forward to Skyrim for quite some time and want it to last as long as possible, but beating your chests and complementing eachother for spending more time in game harvesting cabbages while scoffing at people who enjoy the game is poor show. A 500 hour playthrough is not playing the game "as the developers intended", it's definitely not guaranteed to make your playthrough more memorable than someone elses.

Level 30 in 45 hours, enjoying the royal **** out of this game and will continue my adventures in Morrowind when the fat dragon sings. Congratulations to your personal achievements.

Leaving the game running in the background doesn't count.

I am now 90 hours in and have hit level 28. I have done many, many quests and dungeons, I have just not been spamming alchemy, enchanting or blacksmithing for faster level.

I have now just started work on Enchanting, and its ALOT of fun, still unsure about smithing and as for alchemy I never really use potions anyway other then healing and stamina.

Level was never important.

Hours played is important. And from your figures, I say you are doing great.

I am 74 hours into the game now.

I leveled fast so i can see all types of enemies and treasures, and then enjoy the full game with that...
I don't know why people says they are low level because they are enjoying the game, unless by enjoying they mean to run without any reason?

No really I don't do that, lol, I'm legit level 1, I'm waiting for them to take out forced leveling. So I can train.

I think the fact that you played 90 hours in only 10 days at the time of your post should be a much bigger concern than the speed of your leveling.

52 hours, level 30. I've just completed the Imperial Legion quests, but I'm definitely in no hurry. Not gonna even touch the main questline again until I do a bunch of misc quests and explore more. I've just been riding along the roads helping people out at any small settlements and clearing bandit caves out mostly.

Well, I have a 9-5 jobs and have only taken one day off since release to play Skyrim. I dont think its that bad really, I mean instead of coming in from work and watching TV till bedtime, I am playing Skyrim.

Still, if you average 9 hours a day playing, 8 hours a day working, say only an hour of travel each way from work, eating dinner and assuming you spend every other minute of your life playing Skyrim.... you sleep only 4-5 hours a day?
