The spells I miss from Oblivion (and Morrowind)

So after years of playing Skyrim, and the other games, (mainly Oblivion, because I've only played Morrowind a tad in comparison, but I have completed the main quest at least), and wanting to give a spell caster type a chance, I've finally realized how much I was missing from those games. I also miss how several of these things were able to be enchanted (like the shield effect available for enchanting in at least Oblivion).

I've never really dabbled much with the spell creator, because I used many of the pre-made spells available, and of those, there were quite a few I enjoyed in the previous games that are either hardly around as spells, or just not spells, in Skyrim. Things like night eye, minor detect life, water-walking, feather, open lock, damage health, command creature and humanoid, and exclusive to Morrowind, of course levitation, and mark and recall, etc. At least Dawnguard added back in some undead summons.

This is something I probably could mod back in to some degree since most of these do exist in some form in Skyrim, but I've rarely dabbled with spells or enchantments in the CK, so I guess that'll be a learning experience. I also miss them (both spells and enchantments) because I actually used to use some of these to roleplay certain characters with in the older games. Anyways though, anyone else notice this and end up disappointed by it? Also this wasn't made to bash Skyrim for lacking such, as a part of me is curious why they were left out as well (balance, etc).

I was pretty disappointed in the magic system in vanilla Skyrim. I think Bethesda was trying to create a simple game that would appeal to the mass market, and thought that the magic system from prior games was too complex for mass appeal and they also did not want magic to outshine shouting, so they trimmed magic down substantially.

Fortunately there are mods that put the magic back in magic. I use Spell Crafting, Apocalypse, Wintermyst and Requiem and there is no shortage of unique and interesting spells and enchantments in my modded game.

The only Magic Related thing I miss from Oblivion is the Scroll Glitch, made leveling some skills easier.

My Mistresses of Alteration needing to use a Lockpick.

Mysticism, and Levitation. Fallout 4 having Jet Packs does give Me some hope for TES VI.

Viable Necromancy through more than 20 levels.
