Do you guys think the story would be better if Crysis 1 and 2 were retconned?

Crysis 3 should be a standalone story imo,

-Aliens invade
-Cell take advantage of the chaos and try control the world
-Nanosuit was developed to stop Cell / Aliens

-Begin Crysis 3 with Resistance helping Prophet escape from Cell prison

I just find it hard to take the current story seriously, it's so bizarre lol
