The Story of Sa'Thasha

Post » Thu Aug 11, 2011 11:09 pm

Foreword: Alright well I'm making this story for my khajiit for everyone to see and comment on. I hope I can get some help as I am trying to make this lore friendly but with maybe some bits and pieces of artistic freedom. Please be advised that there will be some minor sixual references. Nothing over the top but I do find that it adds depth to a character if they seem to have some sort of trauma in their life.

S'Thasha was one of many offspring of Ya'Tirrje, the Gold Cat, who is a wealthy leader of a drug-smuggling operation in Torval, Corinthe, and Rimmen. She is a Suthay-raht born and lived in Ya'Tirrje's luxurious villa in Senchal. Although she is born of a wealthy man and practically has the villa to herself most of the year she hated her life in Elsweyr. She had everything she could ask for even though she didn't ask for much being brought up by the numerous caretakers at Ya'Tirrje's villa she was always taught respect and proper manners most of it having roots in Imperial conduct. The only thing she dreaded was Ya'Tirrje's "visits" every 3 months. When he visited she would try her best to hide seeing as every visit eventually leads to Ya'Tirrje sixually abusing her. Of course she was young at this time and did not have the power to stand up to the powerful man. When S'Thasha reached child bearing age she was forcefully ejected from the villa by Ya'Tirrje himself him being afraid of any unwanted offspring from his repeated "abuse" of his own daughter.

At this point she wandered the streets and eventually came across a mysterious fellow by the name of Do'Malle. (Just making names up except for Ya'Tirrje.) Hro'Malle is a fierce shadow warrior who is always helping out others and he could see that this young woman was hurt and alone. He took poor Sa'Thasha in and trained her in his ways while they explored the land of Elsweyr. She first learned how to stalk, which is a valued skill of every shadow warrior. She then learned how to skillfully wield blades so well that she could hold her own in a practice fight against Do'Malle for four minutes before being defeated. She then learned survival skills, most of which were how to live off the land and make shelter for herself. She did not fully grasp this but learned enough to pass his teachings. Eventually while Do'Malle and S'Thasha were eating lunch in a small plain outside of the borders of Torval when he was approached by a dangerous looking man who announced himself as The Claw. He was told of a Shadow Warrior by his description who was responsible for the death of his father. Hro"Malle did in fact kill The Claw's father as a job for The Mane. Since this was a challenge Hro'Malle could not refuse and fought The Claw. The fight went on for hours before finally ending in the beheading of Do'Malle. Distraught by the death of the only caring father figure in her life S'Thasha flew into a rage and quickly ended The Claws life with her hand crafted daggers, Life and Death, The Claw layed there bledding out from the 42 puncture wounds trying to catch his breath to say something. S'Thash didn't want to hear it and crushed his windpipe with her foot before leaving.

After losing Do'Malle, Sa'Thasha traveled even more in serch of her siblings whom she knew by description and name but never met. The first one was Ra'Thalmi a prudish Ohms-raht who scoffed at Sa'Thasha and didn't care to acknowledge her existence she called S'Thasha such things as street rat and sugar junkie because of her poor attire which was a loose bunch of fabrics sewn together. S'Thasha asked only for a nights lodging and would gladly pay double the normal but she was refused saying that she was Black Marked by Ya'Tirrje and couldn't help S'Thasha even if she wanted to, which she didn't. S'Thasha then tracked down her only other known sibling to her, a young male who was raised more by Ya'Tirrje than any of her siblings. his name was J'Bask and he was almost an exact clone of Ya'Tirrje even in personality. When S'Thasa tried to explain her situation he would contsantly interrupt her sying how much of a lewd body she had and how he'd gladly give her test drive. S'Thasha had enough of the mistreatment she didn't deserve and left J'Bask's company immediatley with fire in her eyes. S'Thasha decided that if even her own kin would not treat her well then neither would she to them. She then went about the precise and consistant slaughtering of her siblings' families. Starting with any offspring they had then working her way up to J'Bask and Ra'Thalmi and thier respective mates and lovers. She then killed thier mothers and finally went to planning the execution of Ya'Tirrje himself.

She waited until Ya'Tirrje made his yearly visit to his villa in Senchal. He always felt safest there seeing as how he directly funds the local guards there making it the safest place in the region next to The Mane's palace. Although Senchal maye be very secure S'Thasha waited and lurked in the shadows until the shift in guards and scaled the walls of Ya'Tirrje's villa. She slowly climbed the balconies and footholds until reaching Ya'Tirrje's quarters where she was abused so many times. After leaping in through the windows she crept up to Ya'Tirrje's sleeping form and woke him up so he could stare into her eyes and know who it was that finally killed him. She killed him as she killed every one else since The Claw, a flurry of 42 exact dagger punctures to the chest and a final crushing of the windpipe. After that she escaped into the darkness leaving behind the bloody and crumpled body of Ya'Tirrje or so she thought.....

S'Thasha decided that Elsweyr was not a place she enjoyed so she traveled through Cyrodiil taking many jobs while she traveled. S'Thasha made her first stop at a place called Border Watch which was a town that was made up of all Khajiits who were always babbling about some sort of curse. After lodging there she headed up north past a very large and fort like city which was made of a marvelous white stone that reminded her of moon sugar. The next city she took up lodging in was a place called Bruma. Everyone there kept talking about thier homeland of Skyrim and it's troubles which translated to high paying jobs for her to complete not to mention all of the treasures that many nords talked about. So she packed up her belongings and set off for Skyrim not even concerning herself with the details of dragons or all of the hearsay.

Notes: I have readjusted the prefixes so they match up with actual khajiit lore. Also I will fill in the explanation for Sa'Thasha being dragonborn, her Cyrodiil adventure in more depth and the Ya'Tirrje situation soon.

One thing that should be mentioned is that khajiit names have http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Khajiit_Names. Males have the prefix separated by an apostrophe in front of their names, while females usually don't :)

But there are exceptions.

Well this is why I posted it so that people could help me. Now I'll just modify it with ACTUAL names this time.
And @ Scow2 what's wrong with it?

I had no problems with the names... I took the prefix's as Ta'agran titles we don't have a translation for.

My problem with the second paragraph is the sick, disturbing, sick, offensive content. There are far better ways to give someone a "quietly" dysfunctional family dynamic in childhood than breaking out the pedomobile, and if you feel that a background of that nature and caliber is integral to the character's history, then you should at least not be explicit about the disturbing relationship, using implicit subtext instead. It's a disturbing enough atrocity in real life that's really not good to devalue and trivialize by sticking onto a completely fantastic character.
