Redguards, and shouldn't this be in the TES general discussion or perhaps lore?

The Nords wouldn't have been so important to the Legion either, if they made bad soldiers and military leaders.
"The Cats"?
On topic, Altmer obviously. The highborn understand that the art of war is not just about having the biggest brutes or the best swordsmanship. For one nation to cause so much grief to the entire empire, they must have had excellent organization, equipment and leadership relative to the other races.
They also lost when the empire was caught with their pants down by their ankles. And when they were met man to man, they were consistently beaten in various head to head confrontations. They achieved their goal by the pen, not the sword.
Not to mention they failed to cut the Skyrim supply line, which was why the Imperial city lasted as long as it did.
LMAO at whoever voted bosmer and argonian. Argonians couldn't even take the dunmer when they were devastated by a volcano, and they're supposed to be the most talented? Without the hist, they're nothing.
I'm surprised that Bosmer, Argonian, Imperial and Altmer all has votes, but not the Dunmer. I expected them to be the 4th highest ranking on the list, after the Nords, Orcs and Redguards.
Agreed. Dunmer are regarded as talented warriors unlike Wimps, Bosmer and so on.
Yeah, because unlike the 3 warrior races, the dunmer are a jack-of-all-trades kinda deal. Sure, they may not be the greatest swordsmen, unable to punch through walls, nor form walls of thick green steel, but they have the advantage of being good at most weapon styles and flexibility with it.
Well, I think the Nords are rather varied in their martial traditions, weapon-wise, as much as the Dunmer. They've always had bonuses to several weapon-types(4 in Morrowind and both melee skills in Oblivion and Skyrim) and the UESP mentions them seeking out fighting styles outside their own styles(trying to find the original source reference to that). The Dunmer being JoaT usually refers to their balance of combat, stealth and magical skill, but they are very good warriors and soldiers.
In Order I would rank it Redguards, then Orcs, then Nords, then a tie between Imperials and Dunmer, then probably Khajiit's because they can make decent ones.
As far as marital power, the Redguards destroyed their original home with their own badassedry, the Imperials have had 4 Empires, and I'm pretty sure Nords have had two or three but I can't remember.
The imps owe those empires to nords however. I also wouldn't tie Imps with dunmer. Dunmer are known for making strong warriors. Imps, not really. They're known for being a combination of dumer and bretons, except watered down and lesser. (politics and jack of all trades.)
Well, the Empires of the Imperials weren't really built on their own armies though. The Septim Empire started when the Nord army from Sancre Tor joined and united Cyrodiil by force(took about a year). Reman had help of the remnants of the Akavir, who had been defeated by the weather of the Jerall Mountains and greatly weakened the nations in their path to get there. Alessia had help of Nords, Akatosh and Ayleid kingdoms.
Woah, let's not make crazy assumptions now. We have to remember he's a Bosmer.
None of the above.
Dremora, because it took "divine intervention" to end the Oblivion Crisis.
I voted for Orcs. If their army and country would be as big as the ones from the other races and they would have good economics then they would be a major player. A giant army of heavy armor wearing Orcs rushing at you is definitely fearsome.
