That isn't to say I think it is though.
"When the snow-tower lies sundered, kingless, and bleeding..."
It really seems to be the Throat. What with being sundered by the time wound and all.

Could go either way really. I've no clue, but the nord's tower being the most spiritual location to them in the entire world is more to my liking.
I don't think the eye is a tower, although
Falmer build CoW as a Tower with a similar purpose to White-Gold and Crystal-likelaw
Nords build Saarthal
Nords uncover the eye of magnus a giant source of magic
Falmer find out that the Nords have a piece of the god of magic and go bat [censored] crazy and attack Saarthal for it
Having a Piece of the architect or an artifact created by Magnus surely trumps a tower.

I don't think I've seen a thread reach 10 pages before, mods asleep?
Cool! Let's party!
Nevermind, this is too off topic to turn around. And seriously over posted.
When you start trying to compare races and decided who is strongest or most naturally talented in any area its inevitable
Look at the http://www.tes.altervista.org/mappagigante.jpg
Do you notice something?
Yeah right Orcs pretty much have no land. Its like saying that Ghana has no chance fighting against the USA or China.
If the Orcs would have the land, people and money of the other races they would stomp everyone and the only thing that would have a remote chance holding them at bay would be magical stuff like the Thu'um. Dont think the Nords or Redguards would win against an equally sized and equipped army of Orcs.
The question is strongest most naturally talented warriors. It's suggested in their race description the redguards make relatively disorganised/less than optimally effective armies because they're too independent, this is about the individual warrior in which case redguards are irrefutably the best. Success in battles and wars rarely if ever has much to do with the skill or strength of the individual warriors involved, unfortunately.
"The orcs don't even come into play because they just keep getting stomped. You have to have something to show for your badassery besides being lackeys and doormats for everyone else."
This relates to my above post, the ability of the individuals and the track record of the race in combat are almost entirely unrelated. You only need to look at real world examples. Best fighters on earth are pretty irrefutably former slaves (be it jon bones jones or anderson silva ... or you could just generally note all the most physically gifted legendary athletes descend from slaves), so immediately one would ask how come they were subjugated and enslaved when they're so formidable and capable? Just doesn't work like that, it's a flawed logic.
Orcs are clearly some of the best warriors, I'd put them ahead of nords.
