Oh, so that explains why my skin has been turning green lately, it's because I've been playing an orc in Oblivion, and here I thought I was turning into the Hulk. I wonder if I'll learn how to use magic next?
This is true, though. I mean, obviously, the only people in the world who use strong language are gamers, that never happened before video games came about, and the only place anyone could possibly learn such words from is video games, they never show up in movies, music, books, or on the street, absolutely not. and we also know that swearing automatically equates to violent behavior. There's no other explanation.
Now to them, I say, good job proving that people don't like it when you suddenly turn off their computers while they're playing video games, what new breakthroughs are they going to make next? Really, though, it seems like they've just already decided that video games make people violent and are just looking for anything they think they can claim supports this notion. Because this doesn't prove anything at all, I'm sure they'd get a similar result if they did something else that suddenly brought people's recreational activities (which they paid to do.) to a sudden stop. Besides, they didn't even mention anyone doing anything violent, they were only swearing, according to the article, and people do that a lot, and not just gamers. How can they say they didn't learn it from somewhere other than games?
