This might explain why my friend is having trouble getting pregnant - I'll have to let her know that the romance dance doesn't work like that IRL.

That makes sense. I never thought of it like that before. Now I'm worried I'll turn into an italian assassin and start climbing up building and jumping into haystacks to ambush my templar enemies, you know, since I've been playing Assassins Creed 2 a lot lately.

I know exactly what you mean. You wouldn't believe how true this stuff is. Can't tell you how many times the power went out here and suddenly I'm possessed by Richter Belmont... Die Monster! You don't belong in this world!

I'm just imagining them as internet trolls:
"LOL YOU MAD? LOL YOU MAD? WHY YOU SO MAD LAWL?"

I'm pretty sure I hear cursing EVERYTIME electricity goes off ANYWHERE. Especially when computers (and thus, work) are involved.

I know exactly what you mean. You wouldn't believe how true this stuff is. Can't tell you how many times the power went out here and suddenly I'm possessed by Richter Belmont... Die Monster! You don't belong in this world!

"What is a man? A miserable pile of lies! Have at thee!" and then I pull out my pocket knife and start swinging wildly.

Looks like I need to stop playing Team Fortress 2 :(

I might just start running up behind people with a knife and getting one hit kills. Let's just hope no Pyros are in the area :shifty:

Well golly gee wiz these kids sure sound like bad apples that were on the wrong side of the track. I best stick to my studies to make sure I don't fall in with that crowd. /sarcasm

I'm so sick of these people [censored]ing away money on frivolous things like this. Any person off the street could have told you if you pop off the power to someone playing a computer game they'll raise their voice and use swear words. Even when I was 14 and had the power pop off I would use 4 letter words to describe my frustration. All I have to say is any money used for this garbage study could have been used to feed homeless people or give someone a "Productive" job.

So I am a person who makes buildings now? It is like I am not being productive.

While the way they presented it in the article is ridiculous, I know of a few people that have played a game and subtly pretend that they are that character. It's not really hard evidence but I don't think this news report is a crazy as it seems.

I once had a power cut while I was writing an essay, and trust me, I went bat[censored] insane. I will now take this as proof that the pursuit of knowledge turns you into a raging maniac. Although, possibly it was learning as a whole, but maybe it was just Shakespeare. More studies should be done.

And I've been entering the ladies restroom on purpose.

And prodding people with prods.

I also blew up Area 51 and destroyed global communication.

Oh how video games have changed our world, for the better.

I wonder how much of an impact Laura Croft and Joanna Dark had on my taste in women. If I want one who just looks good, or maybe I might want one who is independent and strong.

And, that's not the most stupid news report ever. The most stupid one I ever heard of was when this guy on CNN had to ask some anolyst "Is it possible there are homeless people living under overpasses all over the US?"

Really? How about I do a "study" where I cut the power to their building right in the middle of a business day. <_<

Or maybe I should hack into all of their computers and completely wipe them. According to their "study" it would be easier for me since I've been playing through Mass Effect as a engineer. Obviously I have great hacking skills now...

I nearly lost my drivers license when I got pulled over for driving down the middle of the road. After this article, everything makes sense now. After an extended playing session of Pacman, it is clear that I was only trying to eat the dashes in the center of the road.

I was wondering why no one listed 'creepy glowing scars' amongst the possible side effects of tea tree oil.
Huh. Guess that explains why those Quicktime events have been following me around, too.

Now, if you'll excuse me... I've had enough of this reporter's disingenuous assertions.
