I completed a sweep job for Vex but have no option to give her the valuables.

In the journal it indicates that "I've cleared Brylling's house in Solitude of valuables".

Under "Objectives" "Clear Brylling's house in Solitude of valuables 3/3" has been checkmarked.
"Return the valuables to Vex" remains unchecked.

However when I return to Vex, I am given only the following options in the dialogue"
- I'm ready for some extra work
- Is this unusual gem worth anything?
- How will doing extra jobs help the guild?
- Does the guild provide other services?

If I ask for another sweep job, she goes through the dialogue of giving me one, but no objectives are indicated.

Any possible solutions would be greatly appreciated.
