so i was thinking earlier what they made one of the dlc's for skyrim be the IC i mean yes i know that it would be kinda like mornhold but hey if they did it as a dlc they would be able to make it like 10 times biger than it was in Oblivion. and heres my idea for they could make to be about say the size of the shivering isles and most of it could be the city it self and sewers. but unlike mornhold you would actually be able to go on the out side of the city to walk around the island and they could make it how it portrade in the PG1st Edition and make the water district way bigger to. and maybe you would be able to go to weye but that would be as far as you would be able to go and there could maybe be some new dungens around the island and have there be more things to do under water. not much but maybe some thing along the lines of that one quest where your suposed to find the quill in the lake by riften.

what do do you guys thin and feel free to add any thing that you would like or feel would make the IC even beter



oh yeah and if they did do this as a dlc they should make it to where you can go on every floor of the palace


edit: oh the reason i came up with this idea for a dlc was because in the PC version if you disable the borders and go far enough into cyrodiil you can see the wight gold tower in the distance so my thought was that the only reason they would have put that in there was ether 1. just as an easter egg or 2. that that is actually where one of the DLC's are gonna be

I was not fond of the Imperial City in Oblivion. I can't say I'm interested in revisiting an even bigger version.

well that kinda what i was getting at with this. for the people who didn't really like the IC in oblivion they would be able to get an IC worthy of being called the capital of a nation cause the whole dlc would be just the IC/sewers and lake rumar and maybe the village of weye. you know some place that you would actually like to spend and would actually have fun being there the whole tim for like 25 - 30 hours in


and it like i said since the whole map is just the city and the lake it would ba an actual city and just 7 or 8 building in each district and maybe they would change it around to where it would make since like have the market place be by the water front district you know stuff like that

While it would be nice to see Lake Rumare and Weye again, I'd rather see something new, something we haven't seen before.

Now if we're talking about visiting cities in a DLC, the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Blacklight is very close to the border of Skyrim. I would love to visit Blacklight and a section of mainland Morrowind in a DLC.

while i get what your saying think about this its been over 200 years since oblivion so in a since it would kinda be a new place and the city it self would be so much lager that it would probably be unrecanizable from oblivion

but after checking out your link that would be a good place to go since 1 the gate at the dunmeth pass is open in skyrim so thats a posible place to be one of the next DLC and would make since since the gat is open so i hope they do both if not one of them but i'm still leaning on the IC for one of the DLC's because it would be nice to see the IC scaled more to its actual size

I wouldn't want a whole game set in just a city but a DLC would be ok. I'd like to see Orsinium (or as it probably should be called Nova Nova Orsinium since the orcs keep having to rebuild it).

well i did say DLC and yeah if they made an entire game out of one city that would kinda svck i mean yeah they would do a much better job at not [censored] it up a much as they usually do by scaling it down so small but yeah rather have it as a dlc than a full game

The IC, or the Imperial City Island which the city nearly covers completely, should have been the full game in Oblivion, rather than making a weak attempt to represent the entire province in a nutshell. If they couldn't do it right in a full game, what makes you think they're going to do it justice in a DLC?

well if the made an IC the size of SI there would be so much detaile that they could put in there IMO

Do you mean Elinhir? Yes, both of those cities would be great too. To be honest, almost any city but the Imperial City would suit me just fine.

well if not a dlc i just want to see it remade atleast into a mod or some thing cause if they cay can make mod of elsewyr elsweyrtannd some one could deff make one of the IC to be about that size
for those who don't want to see it as a dlc would you like to see it as a mod ?
