The Ga Ga

The other day:

Congratulations on taking what I said out of context and applying it to a subject that is completely opposite of a personal opinion.
How about you read some of my other post in this thread, champ, before being a "big boy" and quoting week old post of mine like some sort of weird e-stalker.
It's not the fact that you are trying to put my own words in my mouth in a smart ass way, and quoted a post of mine over a week old, but the fact that you have no idea what the [censored] you're talking about.
You can't judge someone and say they have no talent. If someone does something, and they do it good, and you don't like it, that doesn't mean they don't have any talent. That means you don't like what they did with their talent.
Again, if you could actually read, you'd understand what I said in this entire thread.
It's not a personal opinion that she has talent. She does have talent. It's your personal opinion if you like that talent or not.

Getting angry and insulting yugemos doesn't help your stance.

I don't need a stance. (S)He was wrong, point blank. Taking words out of context makes you cool.

I'm not personally a fan of her music, but I don't hate it either. She's just a neo Britney Spears, she makes catchy tunes and is "controversial". One of my really hardcoe metal head friends likes her music a lot, I laugh every time he plays it.

But it does, don't you see. He has a talent for getting angry and insulting people! Just cause you don't like the talent doesn't make it any less of a talent!! :P

It's also your opinion that this is the definition for "talent". I have yet to see decisive evidence to support your claim.

Fixed.

For once a "fixed" comment is actually better than the original.

I don't need a stance. (S)He was wrong, point blank. Taking words out of context makes you cool.

Your stance is "Talent is not debatable. Opinions about talent are ignorable." while others in this thread have a stance of "Talent is arguable."

But it does, don't you see. He has a talent for getting angry and insulting people! Just cause you don't like the talent doesn't make it any less of a talent!! :P

I'll admit, I laughed at this and choked on my Peach Mango Fuze.

I fraggin' love Gaga, what are you guys talking about?

I think if people just ignored her creepy music videos and outrageous sense of fashion she'd be just like any other pop star.

Her songs aren't bad IMO...

My claim? It is not my claim. What about the other 4+ people in this thread who agree with me?
You people don't seem to understand the issue fully; this is the third time that Yugemos has linked that exact post and ALL he/she said is "the other day".
Third time. And every time, completely out of context, and wrong. Wanna tell me that's not aggravating/stalkerish?

I remember seeing Lagy Gaga's 'Beautiful, Dirty, Rich....' quite a while ago and she seemed barely known. Suddenly overnight she is the newest sensation. I think they simply needed a 'new sensation' and grabbed the nearest person. But that is the music industry, we are told that this or that person is the biggest thing since Madonna so everyone rushes out to buy....at least those susceptible, their 'target' audiance.

I am not saying that everyone who likes her is 'influenced by the pop industry' into it. I like her music too and have most of her music. However her songs are like most of the pop industry songs today, devoid of any depth and enjoyed mostly for their repetitave beat. I think they pick and choose then 'market' someone who they want to be the 'next sensation', not that suddenly overnight millions suddenly saw her and fell in love...she has been around for a while after all.

That said, she actually has talent. She can actually sing...unlike some others 'http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78kc8BoB4Zc....or http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bY2cN3BgPsU. So I actually respect Lady Gaga, the girl has talent. Not too fond of her dress sense though.

You're not making any sense. This isn't a competition, nor is it the line of scrimmage, last time I checked.

Call it what you will, it's pretty creepy.

The other day:

Oh snap.

And Betrayer, you are just trying to change what you said in that "week-old post." You said it's a personal opinion if you think FPS's svck, which is very true. It's also a personal opinion if someone thinks GaGa has no talent.

It's a different situation but the exact same context.

You're not making any sense. This isn't a competition, nor is it the line of scrimmage, last time I checked.

It's a discussion about what the definition of "talent" is, or at least it was until things started getting all personal. <_<

Let's recap:

It's not a personal opinion that she has talent. She does have talent. It's your personal opinion if you like that talent or not.

It's also your opinion that this is the definition for "talent". I have yet to see decisive evidence to support your claim.

What about that didn't you understand?

Alright I'll start:

I'm not a fan of her music. Then again I'm not a fan of pop music.

Woah. Calm down. I'm sorry if I offended you. It's not fact that Lady Gaga has talent. It is only opinion. Last week Lemunde stated his opinion by saying "MMOs are bad no matter how you dress them up" and you criticised this by saying it wasn't true. But this week you stated your opinion and when criticised for it you denied it as your opinion and stated it as fact. It is opinion. Opinion is how a person interprets reality. If you believe Lady Gaga has talent that is your opinion. I don't personally meaning that is my opinion. I was just pointing out that IN MY OPINION you are being hypocritical.

For God's sake people, it's spelled "Alejandro".
Any meaning to her songs? I think there is a meaning to the song Dance in the Dark. But, I wont post what I personally think is the meaning, because it'll get quoted in a week in a different thread that has nothing to do with Lady Gaga.
@Yugemos, not going to get into it anymore, you're right, I'm wrong, like always, +1 bro. Just drop it.
