Anyone ever heard http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avMIGWeQCiw&playnext=1&videos=tkRplmvAlaM remix to Paprazzi? I think it's pretty fly.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laIr_d0hFB8 and the kid cudi + kanye remix of pokerface is amazing.

I'm not gonna link the kid cudi one because theres heavy swearing in it.

That was indeed absolutely awesome, and yeah I've heard the kid cudi/kanye one. It's great.

Couple of posts have gone away, this is not about Justin Beiber and what you would like to do to him.

Personally I like her singing "I like it Rough" - shame she misspelled my name and left the "h" out. :(

Oh snap.

And Betrayer, you are just trying to change what you said in that "week-old post." You said it's a personal opinion if you think FPS's svck, which is very true. It's also a personal opinion if someone thinks GaGa has no talent.

It's a different situation but the exact same context.

Exept that it isn't. If you were to say that "Lady Gaga svcks" then that would be a personal opinion, and one which you would be fully entitled to.

However musical talent is to some extent quantifiable, vocal ability even more so.

Also that Lady Gaga has a talent for creating music that places well in the charts is not a matter of opinion, but one of historical fact.

Pretty much this. She obviously has undeniable talent if she's famous. And don't give me that "fame doesn't equal talent" crap. That's very true, fame doesn't equal talent, but it depends on what you're famous for. Paris Hilton is famous for being a cheap trick, that's her talent I guess. I would say she has no "talent", but apparently she has talent doing uh..something..As much as I hate to admit it, Justin Beiber (yes, I just said Justin Beiber) has talent. Do I like what he does with his talent? Hell no, I'd rather die literally than listen to an album consisting of his music, but he has talent nonetheless. Just not my style of talent.
And that's all I'll say about that.

I like Lady Gaga, Athiest, Deep Purple, Chicago, Rush, Dethklok, Death, The Dave Brubeck Quartet, NIN, Tom Waits, Miles Davis, Queen, Incubus, Eminem, Gorillaz, Fear Factory, Led Zeppelin, The Casualties of Jazz, Audioslave, Geezer, t.A.T.u. , The Temptations, John Williams, Franz Ferdinand, Electric Six, Jaco Pastorius, Pink Floyd, CSNY, Boston, Modest Mouse, 3 Inches of Blood, No Doubt, ELLO, Boz Scaggs, Toto, Rammstein, B.B. King, Robert Johnson, and Hot Chip to name a few. I think my musical tastes are pretty diverse enough not to be a mainstream music shill.

I quite like some of her music, I even have a couple on one of my playlists.

One thing for sure, she is considerably more successful at what she does than those sitting behind their computers criticizing her. Good luck to the girl, she has found a niche in the music scene, lots of people do like her and I hope she continues.

pshht. true. I still make better music though :hehe:

actually I do like catchy meaningless music.. not her though.

I think she's brilliant. No one's done as much for pop music as she has in years.

I know people don't have a spectrum as wide as mine.

Lol oh wise one! oh how do I get so wise as you??

 A bit full of yourself are we? Just a suggestion, don't insult the forumers in such a way, you know nothing about me or anyone else on here. Thank you.

Still, think her music is crap. Sold out. Should have been what she was in College, then I would have liked it.

I'd listen to her over say, Brittany Spears, but there are multitudes of others I will listen to before her. Ithink The Gaga is capable of more intricate, deliciously colorful melodies than the record companies release.

She's talented but she uses it in an awful way! I'm all for having your own style, but hers is just ridiculous.

What's wrong being unique ?

More kick drums and arpeggiated basslines below vocodered and auto-tuned and or vocodered vocals? Oh but this time there might be a smattering or two of piano parts?

Not for me thanks.

Yeah, I love her music. It's pretty original and SO DAMN CATCHY.

I think I had Bad Romance stuck in my head for a whole month, how does one achieve that? I'll call that talent at what she does :P

I have to say, I'd rather clean all the toilets in Grand Central Station with my tongue than listen to one minute of Stefani Germanotta's attempts at music. I find her image to be repulsive and nothing more than a ploy to gain notoriety, her voice not unlike a hyena slowly being put through a wringer, and the comparison of her vocal style to that of Freddie Mercury an insult to all that is good and human in the world.

But hey, it's cool that you like her.

Ouch...those are some harsh opinions.

I swear I read in an interview that her name had nothing to do with being compared to freddie mercury, who in my books is an amazing vocalist. (Huge Queen fan) I believe it was more a long the lines of some inside joke she had going with a producer whenever she came into the studio...someone would sing radio gaga or something...not 100% sure.

She's certainly not a looker, which means I must like her music because she's good. People hate on her and then listen to the person with the most six appeal. Really, really sad.

Hell yeah, those masks from slipknot, so [censored] sixy...
Yeah considering I listen to music not watch music videos all the time I disagree, dont think everyone who hates he just looks for six appeal, hell Gaga has more songs about six than other bands e.g poker face is about her faking it, and do I need to explain thttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTVDLzI8_W4
Besides the singer from arch enemy is imo good looking and a good singer, same for amy lee. If this was about looks though, then why dont I listen to paramore, because Hayley williams is hot as hell.
