i dislike lil wayne too, aslo I hate his name, "lil" sounds stupid.
Anyway, I dislike pop, dislike gaga too, not only dose she look like and idiot, shes shallow as hell, and her songs have no depth.

I think Leydenne likes gaga, havent seen anyone else say they have.

I do like some of her songs. It's good running music. It's not my favorite music ever, but I like some of it. She's out there in a lot of ways, and good for her for doing what she wants.

Dont know how she acts in public, or what she has done, but almost all celebrities act like [censored] in public, because they let fame get to thier head.

I find Love Game and Poker Face pretty catchy and I enjoy listening to them once in a while, but that's about it. The other songs are decent but not much more then that imo. So I can't say that I love her but I certainly dont hate her, but I'm not really a fan of her choice of clothing...

I like her music. It's catchy and just fun to listen to. But as a person I find her to be annoying attention [censored]. But that doesn't change the fact that her music is good. Although I am very tired of hearing Telephone and Pokerface, both which are good songs that got overplayed.

She is a cut above the "rest" in the despicable quotient. She dresses in only underwear and heads to public events, like, say, a Mets game. And then continues to get drunk, obnoxious and flip random people off. And then what happens? She gets escorted into Jerry Seinfeld's box. His Private box. The one he spent more than a pretty penny on.

People need to stop forgetting who they are. Ultimately, they are human beings, and citizens of the US or in some cases foreign countries. They are still bound by laws, and should not get a "freebie" or a minor slap on the wrist. Lindsay Lohan went to jail for 90 days? Scratch that, she spent 13 days in jail pigging out on everything tasty and pissed off murderers and other criminals. Then she got out. Where as we all know will most likely partake in more drugs. Lady Gaga and Lohan and others like her *cough* Ke$ha*cough* are undermining any positive constructive input in pre-teen and young teenaged girls lives. One side says you can be who you want to be.... the other idolizes thin, tan and blonde or "Barbie" and the other is practically an excuse for people not to fit in. And in a world where a Girl lives to fit in... the Posh Crowd wins... Thats why I hate Katy Perry, Gaga, Kesha, Rihanna, Bieber and many more. And the worst part is (sadly) that not one of these "singers" is real. These people beat out others with real talent. The people who could actually sing in front of a huge stadium without lip syncing.

Also, I'd consider myself someone who doesn't hate because it's popular to hate. ;)

Jesus I dont want to li ve in a world where people copy gaga, the streets would be like a circus. Also wearin just underwar, not too bad considering she used to be a stripper, could be worse. Not a good role model though.

Meh. I'm indifferent towards her. When I wake up in a few hours I'll just go to my videogame music. Gigantesque FTW.

The video of Telephone is absolutely awful. Gaga is a horrible influence on teenage girls nowadays.
Also, turn this into a poll if you want to know whether people approve/disapprove of Gaga.

If you want to see a horrible influence on teenage girls, look at Miley Cyrus.

Can-not-stand-the-woman.

Nothing quite sets me into a blood thirsty rampage like this thing masquerading as a musician, she's not origional at all, she's ripping off about 5 artists from way back when in the dress/looks department and her music is so generic I constantly get her songs mixed up with other artists until some one says its lady gaga. I wouldnt mind if her "origionality" or rather, quirky wierdness had and place in her music. But it doesnt. She's vanilla, covered in gone off sprinkles.

Which is a bit depressing when you listen to her pre-gaga music. Raw talent reduced to a generic music spewing spectacle.

Popular to like, popular to hate.

Paradox

So wait? Da Vinci, probably the most popular artist ever had no skill? or talent? The man was a genius.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SagYW3-KNyc

She was 16 or 18..

Shes knows how the industry works, shes taken a grasp of it and shes put out hit after hit by coming back more provocative and subjective each time. Why do we keep listening? Why doesn't she make more songs like the amazingly composed one in that video? Because nobody cares for it.

Yep, fantastic. If she where to release a song like that, i'd buy it.

Lol Frida Kahlo didn't had talent she had a mustache just like susan boyle...if neither of them had one they wouldn't have become famous...

Frida Kahlo was exceptionally talented, she didnt have a moustache she had a monobrow. And she was considered a beautiful woman of her day, a fashion icon. But if you think that you can do better?

That doesn't mean he has talent. He could be a horrible composer. Talent is very subjective. I think an artist who throws paint at a canvas and calls it art is a talentless hack. Others will call it beautiful and pay hundreds for it calling the man a gifted artist.

While some artists do that, and I dont agree with it, there is some artists who will control the spill and actually make something quite amazing. Personally I love that spilled paint technique in conjunction with graphic art and photo manipulations, you can get some awesome finishes.

She's very . . . out there. I think Katy Perry pulls off the whole "out-there"" vibe a lot better and is a lot more attractive than Lady GaGa, who just seems trashy and weird. Like a transvestite prosttute heroin addict of some sort, is the best way I can describe it (and by "it" I mean Lady GaGa).

That's amazing. It saddens me that this beautiful, talented girl has to put on such a trashy persona just to sell a record. I just hope she doesn't get lost in this persona. People need to start appreciating the Stefani Germanottas in this world and not the Lady GaGas.

Am I the only one who finds all that piano stuff she did in highschool fairly boring? Okay, good voice, decent piano playing and nicely composed songs - but beyond a vague sense of admiration at those accomplishments I don't find it at all interesting. That's the sort of music that'll only get you playing hotel lobbies and fancy restaurants for pittance - which is fine, but not something I'd want to listen to anywhere else.

I'd far rather have a larger than life weirdo doing experiments with vocoders and sweet synth sounds to create something catchy.

Personally Amy Lee > Gaga so I would rather her keep tith the piano, not what she has now. She wouldnt look so stupid then either.

Yeah I think it's nice, and soothing, but nothing which would ever be popular nowadays.

Anyway, I don't mind Gaga. I like some of her songs. I was dragged to an MTV concert last year and I walked out halfway through her part. I don't like Gaga's character, however I know nothing about Stef's real character.

Alicia Keys mean anything to you? Talented, popular, successful, plays a piano. Everybody has an audience.

I didn't say you couldn't get popular playing a piano, I said I didn't like Lady Gaga's piano music and for the most part don't find most piano + vocal music in that style particularly interesting. For the record, I don't really like Alicia Keys either. And anyway she's nowhere near as popular as Lady Gaga - not even in the same league.

I'm not really into 'pop' music per se but I still appreciate good talent when I see it, and Lady Gaga has a lot of talent. It's not easy to write a good pop song but she does it extremely well. I say good luck to her.

This. I love her crazy style she has though

I thought it was more or less the Madonna route?

Thank you. The last time I pointed that out, I got my ass chewed out by GaGa fans.

I cannot stand the gal, honestly. She's annoying, shallow, and trashy. What's worse is that she took her name from a Queen song.

I think I'll stick to my classic rock, metal, and... Lil Wayne?

I just listened to "Alejandro", and it sounds exactly like the crap Madonna has been pushing for eons.

:D I'm just not sure how I have lived my life without owning a single "Lil Wayne" track.
