I think we all know the famous, or for some members the infamous Lady Ga Ga.

I just got her remix CD she released a while back and I enjoyed it. I thought why not ask if any people on here like Ga Ga and what they thought of it or some of her latest songs. For a person who only got her album at first to show I was modern Ive grown to really like her. My favorite song is Bad Romance, although I am very fond of telephone too.

The video of Telephone is absolutely awful. Gaga is a horrible influence on teenage girls nowadays.
Also, turn this into a poll if you want to know whether people approve/disapprove of Gaga.

I don't like the spectacle of pop music in general - the songs tend to be irritatingly repetitive, often devoid of real meaning, and mostly based on shock value rather than true merit. Lady Gaga is just the flavour of the moment, no better or worse than the crap that's gone before or is yet to come...

As Dennis Miller pointed out, if she were going to sue someone for stealing her talent she'd have to take them to small claims court.

Whatever catchy melodies or hooks there are at the core, are completely diminished by the style and production of the music which I really don't like. It all just comes across as sounding completely obnoxious to me. I know she is really a very talented musician, and after hearing some of her works prior to inventing the whole Lady Gaga persona I think it's kinda sad she had to head in that direction for mass appeal.

All this music that is dubbed over for 10000+ hours in the studio, never appeals to me, it just seems fake, and not worth listening to.
SO, I do not enjoy Lady Gaga, or any of the music that sounds like singing robots for the majority of the song.

I'm not really into 'pop' music per se but I still appreciate good talent when I see it, and Lady Gaga has a lot of talent. It's not easy to write a good pop song but she does it extremely well. I say good luck to her.

I don't listen to her. Her style of music does not appeal to me but it must be good in some way because shes rich and famous from it, so congrats to her.

Indeed. It's a sad reflection of the modern music industry: if you don't invent a ridiculous persona then it's unlikely you'll ever make it big, lost among the hundreds of talented nobodies struggling for a break. Pop music is all about glam and no substance, and Gaga is the most recent embodiment of that (though she's hardly the first.) But it's not really the musicians' fault, in the end: some people will buy into anything - if only people were more discerning we wouldn't have to put up with all the garbage that passes for "music."

She has talent(or had,she hasn't shown much talent since she started pop/dance/whatever it is you want to call her IMO) but I don't care for her music,it's just not my thing.

Note:I've never seen her live/talked to anyone who has seen her live so I don't know if she still plays the piano at her shows,me saying she shows little talent now is based off of her radio songs..it's just an opinion,you're welcome to prove me wrong but do it nicely.

Her attempts at being "unique" are kind of silly too I think,but whatever.

And I do realize that people on here like more than those three, hell I love country and gangsta rap, but generally speaking those three types of music are talked about most here.

I like her. She's talented and I can definitely see her sticking around for some time. Her music is catchy, doesn't mean it's not good. I don't go out of my way to listen to her music I'll admit, but I do enjoy it when it's on.
