In the games, when you see a multiple amount of people fighting another multiple amount. You get them just simply fighting with no tactics. However, when I see The Imperial Legion fighting the Stormcloaks with no sense of discipline and formation, It's clearly obvious that is more of a gameplay thing then a lore thing. So let's discuss the way the various armies in Tamriel would fight if it wasn't for gameplay limitations.

The Imperial Legion is easy. Since they are heavily based on the Roman Legion, one could logically expect them to fight in formation, using phalanxes and/or any fighting formation the Roman army used.

The Stormcloaks would probably use both traditional and guirlla tactics.

The Aldmeri Dominiom would probably be similar to the Imperial Legion except with their own "Elvish flavor."

Argonia woulduse Hit and Run tactics.

And I'm not sure about Hammerfell.

So am I'm right or wrong about any of them?
