This is a long shot seeing the armour of the npc you are fighting against fall apart in front of your eyes.

Going out in the wilderness, having no plans. Then by just a coincidence, finding a secret dungeon, going into it and finding a legendary weapon.
After so many years, this is one of the best memories I have from gaming, from of course... Morrowind. I'd like to experience that again in Skyrim.

Also, another thing I'm looking forward to is to travel to the biggest mountain I can see, making it a big, dangerous journey.

I'm sure there is one thing about skyrim that just absolutely blows your mind, whether it be the kill animations, dragons, etc. I, however, cannot wait to run around naked in the wilderness, find small animals, and yell at them to death.

The thing I look most forward to is getting my hands on the game, that is all.

I think i look forward most to start the game, click on "new game" and watch the intro and hear the Skyrim theme. Becuse you know, that when you create your character and step out in the world, you gonna have experience a totally new adventure′. I remember when seeing the Oblivion theme for the first time.
That was amazing.

I am looking forward to dual weilding long swords, having really good enchanted armor and killing a dragon. Also I am looking forward to a really really longer story line than Oblivion and leveling up with the new system.

Nothing in particular, just want to see if it's actually a roleplaying game or if it's an action game with RPG elements.
But I wouldn't say that I "look forward" to that, that would mean optimism which is against my ideology.
So I dunno, I look forward to the economy system I guess.

I think the thing I'm looking forward to the most is the improved graphics. Everythings looks so breath takingly beautiful and has a lot more detail than Oblivion did, and the NPCs just look a lot better than they did in Oblivion. Oblivion's NPCs always had a kind of weird mishapen look, but the NPCs I've seen in the images for Skyrim look a lot better. Also I love the image of the waterfall with the purple flowers growing next to it, I'm hoping there will be a lot of beautiful flowers to pick for alchemy that I can decorate my character's house with. :)

Well like any sequel I am excited to see how it will hold up/differ/improve to it's prequels, hmm speaking of that, if mounts and travel services are in this time around one can hope that someone at Beth has played Red Dead Redemption and gotten some inspiration :P

Things I'm looking forward to most:

(1) BEARDS! Yay! I've always wanted to create a Gandalf type character, but without the beard, it just couldn't be done.

(2) DRAGONS! No doubt about it. Ever since Morrowind I've wanted to test the steel of my sword against the might that is a dragon

(3) CHILDREN! Finally that realistic touch will be added. (or course, that one I haven't seen confirmed yet) Hopefully the rumors are true, because you don't see a poor town or village without some dirt covered children running about.

(4) BETTER SWORD PLAY, or so it seems that way in the trailer. I hope so. While fun, the actual combat in TES has been a bit less than stellar.

(5) GIANTS! These and the other cool looking creatures you seem to get to fight. Now obviously, dragons already has pushed the limit to greatness, but these looked cool too.

(6) Improved environment. Looks absolutely astounding.

(7) Cooking, etc.

When i get the game like 1-2 days after release (Im gonna pre-order) then spending like 2 hours creating an awesome character. Then im gonna take a break from the main quest for my first 2-3 days of playing it because im gonna explore and maybe even level up? then finish the game and checking towns i come across closely for side quests. then when i find all citys im gonna find the chorrol type place (Everybody is friends and there are like nice small houses :D) As much as possible then im gonna buy a house (if possible) and spend hours decorating my house and so on goes my list....

I most look forward to finally getting to play a new Elder Scrolls game. All that crap that filled the gap was nothing compared to waht this will be. I started with Oblivion, went back and played Morrowind (just now buying my own copy of it thought) then I got Arena as freeware and then Daggerfall. All of this was in preparation for TES V now I can finally experience it and have played all five of the major ES games to date.

That Skyrim is not developed or published by EA.

That Skyrim is the newest entry for Elder Scrolls since 2006.

A huge world to explore and immerses yourself into. Time consumer fits into this category.

An actual quality product which is not rushed being made or released.

Music by Jeremy Soule.

This forum community which does not flame or attack your opinion regardless of what you say.

Dragons

Actually glad giving the developer/publisher money for their product.

Nord residence and culture, reminds me of the Bloodmoon EP/Solstheim.

Finding out what the perks are and drawing up a spreadsheet for my first character. And then playing for 5 minutes and already deciding to wing it by the time I get my first perk. This is exactly how it'll happen.

Not being completely on my own the entire time! :hugs: Companions are a welcome addition, and I know there'll be mods available with fully-fleshed personalities. Also, exploring; I'm going to take my posse of companions into every ruin and cave.

Elrond: Nine companions. So be it. You shall be the fellowship of the ring.

Pippin: Great! Where are we going?
