When Socucius says, "BEAT YOU!" whilst being questioned in the character creation process.

"What's a girl gotta do to get some attention around here?"

I can't help but crack a smile whenever I hear it...

What does Fargoth say? Something along the lines of "I saw that barmaid looking at me the other day. How can I tell her I'm not... interested?"

Bosmer sure want to be really close to my Khajiit, because they keep making those types of remarks... At least there's no back alleys in Morrowind.

Just heard this one. Seemed quite fitting for a publican in Ald'ruhn.

"Dirt dirt dirt dirt. Everywhere dirt."

Amusing, the way its said.

Yet you're still missing one dirt! :D

In my mind nearly every Morrowind line has become some kind of a legend really.

"What's a girl gotta do to get some attention around here?"

Brought this to my mind. Sorry. :I http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYotgNjyMb8

Ergalla's Encounter and Escapade videos also include some unforgettable material and one-liners. "Aren't you a sight... GET OUT OF HERE! AWAY WITH YOU!" "*snort*" "Intresting". ^_^

I haven't heard most of the ones posted in this thread, although the guar/boots one I hear constantly. Maybe I just need to do more loitering instead of constantly running off to the next quest.

Redguard males sometimes say "What day is today?" I find that rather amusing, because my answer is always Peaceday. There is a vulgar word in my first language describing the female genitalia which kind of sounds like "peace". Gives Peaceday a whole new meaning - Mike Hunt day. Scratch the Mi.
Redguard males, again, make nasty remarks about the way I dress my character. Pff, can't heros blend it with the rest?

"I have a feeling that you and I are about to become very close." Makes me giggle.

Yes, but I was looking for more of the things people just say when they are standing around. This is just something that Khajiit say to dismiss you.
They say this when standing around too, if their disposition is low. It's not just to end a conversation, it's to prevent one from starting.

Yeah, and there's only one of these "greeting lines" at one time. Sometimes, the character gets to say it only after you have already engaged dialogue with him/her. That's because you've approached the NPC very quickly and immediately activated him/her for the discussion; the actual line gets late and only kicks in after you've already discussed with that NPC (during the dialogue tree the game is paused and the characters will not move, let alone get to say anything). The NPC would've said the same thing beforehand, as intended, if you stood next to him/her for awhile before engaging the discussion.

It also triggers if you just happen to go past someone, which often results in fun things like "Welcome, friend, you're nearly a legend around here! Please, tal... hey, where are you going?"

Some of those Mournhold guards worry me sometimes.

"Must be going crazy... talking to myself..." "Da-de-da-de-da-de-da"
