Muatra cannot be held but beheld.

For this reason, Vehk can only make love, and discipline his mongrel children, with it.

Everyone's Muatra is different. It's not the size that matters, it's how you mythopoeically thrust with it.

Whatever the Horn of Summoning is, it's implied to be much more powerful than the Staff of Chaos.

Which reminds me: anybody else really want Jurgen Windcaller's horn to be a usable weapon?

It depends on what kind of power you are talking about. Do you mean in combat? or practical use?

I was considering the same thing. I tried to list the most powerful artifacts in general, whether utilitarian or combative. Those with the most control over the world.

10 - Mace of Molag Bal
Hands down best Daedric artifact in Skyrim (well, besides Wabbajack).

The Staff of Magnus of Skyrim was pretty baller as well. Could turn some of the toughest enemies in game - Masked Dragon Priests - into sniveling idiots, so as long as you had a healthy supply of soul gems.

Spell Breaker was also 100% more badass in Skyrim.

But going back to older games.... The Hammer of Stendarr, anyone?

And I bet the Mace of Slurring can beat the shouts out of dragons damn good.

Fork of Horripilation

DA MOIST POWERFULL WAPAN IN DA GAME!

I AM BLATANTLY TROLLING.

Nah, it's just that different artifacts have different uses. Comparing Mehrunes's Razor and the Ogham Infinium is pointless, because one is an instant killing dagger, while the other is an all knowing tome. Like comparing apples to oranges.

EDIT: I just amused myself with the image of trying to beat something to death the the Ogham Infinium and trying to use the Razor for scholarly purposes. Carry on my good men and women and Vehks. Also, the Staff of Chaos is probably the strongest due to being a handheld tower, or at least it was before it was put in the Imperial Palace to never see the light of day again.

That thing made me consider how the hell it could be important. That thing literally nourished the Nordic peoples culturally.

Mehrune's Razor is the Tamrielic equivalent of Occam's Razor: "Other things being equal, a complex explanation is preferable to a simple one. Furthermore, complex explanations have a small chance to instantly kill."

1. Auriel's Bow - Seriously, a bow that turns any arrow into an unstoppable force of destruction is pretty awesome.
2. Sword of Moonreaver - Even though it appeared in one game, this sword was strong enough to cut the ties Dagon had to the Battlespire being that it was made from his essence.
3. Crysamere - The Paladin's Blade. 'Nuff said.
4. Staff of Magnus - Though in game representation isn't incredibly impressive (still fun to use!), the staff in the right hands of a powerful mage can be devastating.
5. Daedric Crescent Blade - The design is one thing, but to actually wield it made you feel unstoppable. That is until you were actual stopped by something way out of your league.
6. Umbra - An evil sword crafted by an evil witch has got to be menacing to anyone who is unfortunate enough to have the blade rip their flesh.
7. Dawn Breaker - Holy sword of the Daedric Prince of Life.
8. Spellbreaker - I've always loved that dwemer tower shield.
9. Scourge - Scourge...
10. Notched Pick Axe found on top of the Throat of the World - This thing will end you!!!!

The staff of chaos would be the strongest....if it still existed anyway time for my list and a elder scroll would be powerful if you could use the bloody thing.

1. Trueflame
2. Hopesfire
3. keening, wraithguard and sunder. ((All three are still powerful if used together on a soul gem, skyrim points this out in a way and I'm putting them in one category because alone each one isn't powerful.))
4. Umbra
5. Mehrunes' razor
6. Goldbrand
7. Daedric weaponry
8. Staff of magnus
9. The items that represent the position of a Daedric prince
10. Moon-and-star. ((Though its power is purely symbolic it can be used to unite the Dunmeri people))

Digitals, the hands themselves.

you mean digits, not digitals.

Nocturnal's key?....

The skeleton key is only useful if you know how to use it to its fullest effect but doing so grants misfortune to those around you.
