As long as that doesn't manage to translate to £280 in the UK. We might even be with the Euro by the time V13 comes out. A massive thank you to EA for:
- Producing great quality games time and time again
- Providing excellent technical support
- Never destroying any highly acclaimed studios for profit
- Never ripping people off
- Never wasting people's time

I am will to spend $50 for the software and apx $15 a month. So whatever that comes too. I would however rather pay a base fee of $50 software then whatever I want after that. I am a believer in the micro transaction and personal content control.

micropayment will ruin the game and the rich guys that spend alot of dolars will be the best so i hope we wont have micropayment in fallout mmo.I played PE and the rich guys own islands and the other were like flyes in comparation.I wont play such a game anymore and like 2% of mmorpg comunity will play a game with micropayment so if gamesas want at last to have alot of players and to make in the same time some money they will make month subscription. The basic $50 for the game when it releases, a month free, then the standard $10-$15 is fine with me. It's actually real cheap when you think about it and compare. If it's more I might not buy it, I'd have to check the free month out to see if I wanted to pay that much for it.

I would spend 70$ for the collectors edition of v13 and 15-20$ a month for the rest of my life or i would buy lifetime account if that was available and i would pay the price gamesas would set for it Image

Let's see: £40 for the game, £60 for a collector's edition, £12 each month.

That'd be either £184 for the standard edition or £204 for the limited edition.

Wow, need to get some money hidden away. A massive thank you to EA for:

Ill be honest I dont care what they charge me. Ill gladly pay any amount of money. ^^
Hell ill be happy paying up to $100(USD) a month. O_o Yes that is insane but hey it will keep all the little kids from playing it thats for sure.

"Mommy, I wanna play this game but its subscription is 100 a month..."

No parent in their right mind would let there little kids play a game that is costing them $100 a month to play. XD

^_^ but you know what as long as its not micro payments ill be happy. Image

I guess the usual would be fine. $10-15 US

When I played Warcraft, me and my brother split an account so that lessened the cost a bit. The exchange rate took a plummet recently so I'd be playing $11-12 for half of US $15 a month anyway.

Micro transactions in theory are ok but only in certain circumstances. Depends if what you're buying is essential or not. It can turn ugly if you can buy little things like aesthetic stuff to being with, then the company gets greedy and makes you buy things that give you an advantage over other players who don't pay extra, or things that should have come with the game to being with. eg. if you could buy extra character slots but they only gave you 2 to being with.

I heard they are thinking of micro transactions in SWtOR. ehhhhhhh :( Do any of you know the tale of how cornmeal came to be?
Neither did the miller when he left his house that morning!

ok so outside of this guys massive island how much has he ruined your gaming experience. Does he wipe out entire zones of creatures in fell swoops. does he constantly lay waste to the player population? does he change the world and what you do have no impact? Have you ever thought there are ways to balance it. Or is this the upstream elite market stance that sais unless they invest time they can't have fun? Also prey tell how could these rich guys "own" islands in say WoW for exmaple it was microstransaction instead? No instead they would have level 80 characters with purple gear with absolutely no way to impact your game play out side of you being upset that they had money to have fun rather than you spending time to get the same stuff. oh wait they didn't have as much fun because they didn't have the experience of the story, quests, combat, crafting that you might have done. Unless one doesn't consider those as fun values.

Also where do you get your 2% fact from. Seems more like an imaginary numer to back up opinion and your prefered game style rather than open up gaming to a larger a market. Maybe Fallout 2 should be a monthly charge to play. How about Halo charging 15 a month for online play. No, doesn't work like that. No monthly costs means more accisble players. Keeping people in the game leads to more oppertunity to sell them product. I'm not going to give you an imaginary numbers to back it up. Considering we haven't seen a major game publisher release a high end MMORPG that uses the micro transaction system. You know like no one will ever buy a Fitness oriented software for a console, there no such market for such a thing.*cough*11.5million*cough* so far. The market exists if you can tap into it. And with free you can expose the market to a far larger population than a 50 + 15/month group which is tiny. You can now expand it to everyone who plays PC games online.

Also forgive me on my poor acronym memorization PE?

You can dream for a free game with micropayment involve but fallout mmo wont be like that.Im in the mmorpg world from AC and AO back in time so i can say i really know the voice of the mmo community.Look in this forum you are almost the only one who want this kind of payment from the entire forum. No micropayment mmo got more than 50k users atm. and im sure gamesas with this behemoth project v13 to have more like 1-2 millions users in the first 2-3 years. You dont know what PE name is (the first real mmo that implement micropayment succesfull, even for bulets you need to play with real money) and you try to explain me about micropayment... I'd just like to say I'd be fine with micropayments if they were for aesthetic things only. If the micropayments allow for "uber" equipment, forget it. A massive thank you to EA for:

This has nothing to do with what we're doing, since there has been no formal decision about monthly fees, RMT, micropayments, etc, but I'm _personally_ in agreement with you.

I think the standard is 14.95 a month usd. I would pay that without a problem.

I wonder though...how many more suscribers a company could pull-in if their were a 9.95 a month deal. I mean, ive always thought that if you cant afford 14.95 a month then your computer might not meet the minimum spec requirements for an mmo either.

ON the note about payment.....I believe an mmo is a difficult thing to release without bugs and the first month should always be free and the second month with a discount. Maybe even a lowball server that is for free for people to check it out and play up to a certain point- this server would be free and limited. In order for a large number of players to be able to get a shhot at entering the congested server a limit on recorded play hours can be done, so Every player can have about 25 hours playtime before they have to move along  would be a nice teaser

I can understand that a way of micropayment will be in game ....cant say anything about it but im sure the amount of gamers will say the truth. And to have micorpayment ONLY for dye your car or to buy certain stuff for your home is a nonsense in a new age of pvp mmorpg games that will come. Image

Well, on topic, I would pay up to $80 for the game and $20 per month as long as they stuck with the story F1/2 generally laid out.
