The Tribunal's Childlife?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 9:26 am

Hey, I am just highly interested on the Tribunal's Childlife information. Does anyone have any articles containing any information related to his topic? It would be apprecaited if you could give me some. Thanks. :goodjob:

We know of [some of] Vehk's Childhood through the sermons, but of Almy and Sotha Sil's, we know extremly little of.

No, nothing is really known at all about them concerning anything before their roles as advisers to Nerevar...

http://www.imperial-library.info/mwbooks/homilies_alm.shtml have a little parable about a young Sotha Sil but its hardly worth mentioning; and then there's some of Vivec in http://www.imperial-library.info/mwbooks/lessons.shtml, but that's highly allegorical...

Like Luagar said. Don't take anything at face value in the Sermons, it's outrageously confusing at times.

Vivec lost his mother very early, perhaps she died in childbed. Apparently, the loss of his mother grieved him so much that when he became a god, he made it so that he could say goodbye to her and comfort her when she died.

Although it is unofficial, check out Mote's "The Mortal Life of Vivec". It is a really good fanfic dealing with his life from birth to apotheosis.

The story is organized into several books, which can be found http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?act=Search&nav=au&CODE=show&searchid=c9a336e8ea6607f97e3cbab67272bd56&search_in=topics&result_type=topics.

Not normal, at all.

They were high in Chimeri society. Advisers to the King of the Chimer, and one was his wife. Even if you take an overly reductionist view on Vehk's childhood gleaned from the sermons, it's still pretty spaced out and freaked.

And being born a hermaphrodite meant Vehk certainly had varied a social life.

Though the question is about their childhood, not their advlt life. And I think that at least Sotha Sil and Almalexia probably had a pretty normal life for someone of their status.

Childhood - adolescence, whatever. Practically, whatever advlthood they had became mere childhood when they apotheosized. Relatively speaking of course.

We know little of either. Childhood or advlthood.
