Well, that is what a forum is for.
My only concern would be that to single out specific faiths may turn the conversation to religion specifically, which is forbidden in these threads. However, my comparisons were fairly straightforward, Vivec and Buddha are both not technically gods (admitted to by their adherents, I am not denying or arguing the validity of either of their divinities) but they are worshiped and have a religious school of thought.
The way Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Christianity, along with several other faiths (Jainism, Sikhism) exist in a melting pot around Southeast Asia is similar to how Aedra Worship, Daedra Worship, the Tribunal, and the Imperial Cult (some might add the 6th House) exist in Morrowind, as opposed to Cyrodill, where the 9 Divines and to a lesser extent Imperial Cult (not really mentioned in Oblivion) have a fairly secure grasp on the faith demographic, barring a few Daedric shrines.
*I also forgot Shiva in my list of Indian deities who's statues I believe to have directly influenced the design of Morrowind's shrines.
