It's funny that in his memoirs you can't tell neither his nor Pat's gender, as if they originally wanted to make his six unknown. And if I remember well the only time in F2 where he is explicitly referred to as male was in the intro, though I might be wrong on that one.

"I thought i recognised you, you look just like him."
As said by tandi in FO2, i can't remember the full line but it went something like that.

Maybe do it where, Fallout 4 takes place 80-100 years after Fallout 3, so that the Lone Wanderer is dead.

I'd be interested in seeing a story that takes place elsewhere concurrently to the events of FO3, so that no one really has any clue who he is.

Call me crazy, but any further in the future and it'll seem like, "So... still no advancement of civilization yet?"

The Lone Wanderer is in space now, exploring the universe aboard Mothership Zeta and attacking the rest of the Aliens. An excellent way to get rid of him for future Fallout titles.

Que voice over:

"After many trials the Lone Wanderer finally found a way to wander eternally in the depths of space, using as stolen Alien ship. So ends the tale of the Lone Wanderer, so don't make an appearance in Fallout 4 Damn it!"

I honestly think he will be portayed as a BOS hero, and a lame excuse to get rid of him, probably death by a massive stimpack overdose.

I would like to see the LW activiting the Purifier and going to his death, adds so much emotion to FO3 which the game lacked in my opinion.
