Yes, it's true. Nords in Skyrim are just bellyaching because there is no levitation ability, so they can't build a proper wizard's tower that has only one entrance far above the clouds. They also suffer from mushroom-size envy.

Don't you think it's too much of a coincidence that they were happy to let the Dunmer have Solstheim after Red Mountain exploded? That left Vvardenfell completely open for invasion.

Do you honestly believe the Telvanni coast was so easily destroyed? The magic there was just too deep and entrenched. Thousand-year old wizards wouldn't let such a minor thing as a volcano ruin their home. They do have fire-resistance. They have magical shields. They can even cause the illusion of destruction.

Why else do you think Skyrim is so underpopulated? The vast amount of the people went east to leave the freezing cold and left the bandits to take over. The new residents of Vvardenfell are suntanning, netch herding, guar riding, and basking in the heat of everlasting geothermal power. Not to mention that as soon as they crossed the Morrowind border, they gained the ability to create spells to fly through the air.

Thats just stereotypical.

My blonde Nord went bikini shopping in Daggerfall last night in preparation! She's pumped!

Unfortunately, the Telvanni became haughty and complacent in the belief that their spell-warded towers were enough to protect them from any threat. They were defeated when their enemies exploited their sudden weakness after the Magnus Break caused their spell protections to fail during Tamriel's "Time Of No Magic Resistance" which lasted for approximately one week before being mended by the Magna Ge. Thalmor involvement in the unexplained supernatural event is suspected by many, but as of yet unproven.

Believe me, my Nord got a personal invitation to join their beach volleyball tournament. She's not going, though, because she knows they just want to get her drunk with skooma and show her the size of their... erect towers. Besides, they cheat, and it is true, they are extremely arrogant.
