The Ultimate Elder Scrolls Poll

Morrowind, though I am riding my Oblivion crave right now with a lot of fun. Oblivion sure does have some awesome quest mods that far surpass MW's

As for race, argonians, only because I've created more lizards than the other races. This is followed by nords and orcs tied for second, and bretons and redguards tied for third

As for the next place I want to see, Summerset or Skyrim. Both would be logical progressions of the series, and both are VERY interesting places.

As for my favorite divine, because Shor/Shezarr/Lorkhan wasn't there, I voted for the guy in his stead, Talos.

As for the prince, Peryite, as he is about the disease, for now.

He's dead though. How can he be immortal when he is dead.

And yet he keeps popping up. Also, all the aedra are "dead", as they had to sacrifice, literally and metaphorically, an arm and a leg to create Mundus, but death for an immortal is different.

I mean, he basically started a huge war "for the lulz".

How dare you take the side of the arrogant and narcissistic mer! Shor made this world for us! It's his divine mercy!

I like Oblivion with expansion packs the best. I like Imperials the best as in race. I want the next province as Skyrim. My favorite divine is Akatosh and my favorite Daedra is Azura.

Game: Morrowind
Race: Breton, I couldn't choose between Dunmer and Breton, so I flipped a coin. Heads-Dunmer, Tails-Breton
TESV Province: Skyrim and Solstheim (It will be very different after the Dunmer have lived there for 200 years)
Favourite Divine: Arkay, I don't like the Divine, but Arkay is the one I respect the most.
Favourite Daedra: Boethiah, I couldn't decide between Merida, Hircine, Boethiah, and Sheogorath. So, I closed my eyes and presed a key on my keyboard, the letter that is the first letter of the Daedric Prince's name is the one I chose. ( It took a few tries to hit M,H,B,or S)

Not anymore. The Neraverine destroyed the heart with Kagrenacs tools. I have a distinct memory of the Heart shrivelling up and dying.

And who told you it died? Why could it not have simply moved on? To some other plane of existence? To some other placce in Nirn? I mean, as Hellmouth said, he keeps popping up. I doubt he'll die from some guy with a dagger and hammer. The Dwemer were good, but not that good. They could never destroy a god.

Oblivion and expansions for me (although i enjoy and the other ES games, its just the one i play the most)

Breton all the way for me!! (although i like Khajiits too)

Hope its in Elsewyr. I like the jungle/rainforest setting but they cannot do it like an OB with x100 more trees. You know real jungle with rivers, waterfalls, mountains, huge trees to climb on and snipe from :hubbahubba: ...get creative!!!!

Akatosh seems to be the one whose traits i value the most.

Azura stay on her side and she gives you all that you want  (better not double-cross her otherwise :obliviongate: )

I wonder if you can find his brain... lungs, kindey, prostate, eyeball, or any number of limbs. I guess he isn't dead after all. Maybe he is the krux(for use of a better word) of elder scrolls lore. Since he keeps popping up, with more and more lore about him. He could again make an appearence in TES 5.

However, what do I know? Since I'm an Oblivion loving Morrowind basher, that bashes Oblivion and loves Morrowind.

Game: Morrowind with Expansions

Race: I voted Dunmer, but I like them, Nords, Orcs, and Imperials about the same.

Province:
Spoiler
I wish Morrowind was still in a playable state. :(

Divine: Talos

Deadra: I don't really like them honestly. I know a lot of people do but I just can't find anything likable in the things that most of them do. Azura is ok, and so is Meridia, but I voted Sheogorath because I know the most about him and Shivering Isles was a lot of fun.

Was that a hint at telling me that's what we're saying about you?

I thought we where just having a simple lore discussion.

If not:

And I'm a Morrowind loveing Oblivion basher, nice to meet you! Let's eat eachother's organs. ^_^

Oblivion followed by SKYNET and Redguard.
The Dunmer, because they're a bunch of racist rejects. Just like me. Apart from the racist part of course.
Skyrim, because it is going to take place there. I know.
Arkay, because I have no clue.
And a close call between good ol' Sheo and Nocturnal. But just because Sheo threatened to eat my eye balls, I chose him.

You know... I really don't get the love for Azura and Sheogorath.

Azura:

At least if I worshipped Dagon, Hircine, Molag Bal, or whatever, I know what I'm getting into. Azura, to the public eye, is a "perfect" god. She helps the world, and ends crisis'. But, once you dig into her lore for a while, you'll learn that she's a scheming, "spoilt", opportunistic, selfish, etc.

She gives a false sense of security, which aint ok.

Sheogorath:

I know everyone likes him for the lols. But, if you aint playing SI, Sheogorath wouldn't be a nice guy. Spending too much time around him would cause you to go insane. Being eccentric isn't the pure definition of insanity. You could end up as a paranoid schizophrenic. That aint fun. You could end up as a psychotic murderer. That aint fun.

Sheogorath is probably the most dangerous prince to worship. The mind is a fragile thing.

Azura is pretty - nuff said

lol seriously though, i cant believe how many more people prefer Morrowind to Oblivion on this forum. I was expecting it to be a closer vote then that.

Morrowind always beats Oblivion. I'm guessing, back in the day, Daggerfall would beat Morrowind on threads like this?

People on this forum are mostly hardcoe TES fans that prefer more indepth and unique TES games. Unlike me. I like attacking things with my sword and watching them go flying 15 meters in the air.

Finger of the Mountain + Havoc = "COME ON NOW!"

Oblivion, first TES experience, easier to mod than Morrowind, less stiff NPCs

Summerset Isle, Skyrim, or Elsweyr

Breton (woot!)

Zenithar

Nocturnal. Mysterious, observant.... I love thieves!

The deal is, they are a minority. I'm just guessing, but I think that the majority of Daggerfall fans use this forum, and even on this forum they are a minority.

I'm just speculating, but I also think the majority of tes fans are Oblivion fans. I know Oblivion has its faults but it seems to be the favoured of the series.

I would love to see a sandbox game that has open borders to all the provinces.... I know, I know, it is so unlikely but that is my honest vote.

Funny, considering it's the worst game in the series. I even think Arena beats it, in my opinion.

morrowind ( i liked the setting better than oblivion, although oblivion was more pleasing to they eye)

Argonians (Morrowind beast races going commando FTW). also dark eleves are in a close second

Skyrim, hammerfell and black marsh all seem like good vacation destinations. It would be interesting to go to morrowind or vvardenfel againg with updated graphics.

Dont know much about the divines so I chose stendarr (cuz of the hammer)

Hicine cuz he's a badass although hermeus mora is awsome too

summerset isle sounds like the ideal place for ES V

"The island has idyllic orchards and clear pastures, still and silent lagoons, misty woodlands, and the unique Psijic architecture that seems to be as natural as its surroundings"

would allow for a taste of heaps of different types of terrain, plus theres 2 islands to explose(they could add a fair few minor islandsto increase size)

Funny, considering it's the worst game in the series. I even think Arena beats it, in my opinion.

Now, one mans opinion isn't any better than the next mans, but the 3 million copies sold and the numerous game of the year awards beats everyone on this forum opinions.

When I said it was the favoured of the series, I didn't say it because it was my favourite(Morrowind is my favorite). I said it because it is. All those top 100 games of all time and game of the year awards say oblivion is one of the best.
