Is the Pip-Boy a TARDIS? Does it scan, breakdown to the molecular level, and then store our things inside of it, gaining weight proportional to the object and when we want something, we select it with the cursor and it materializes? That would actually be less stupid then having a Red Glare and Flamer in you pockets.
