Do you think Underwater and Water Based content should be added to TESO?

I changed the OP so that we have a question to discuss and debate.

Yes to both. IMHO More areas to explore, underwater dungeons are fun to do. Argonains will be more fun in PVP by lakes. We have one more enchantment to add to armor for non-Argonain chars to breathe underwater. Oblivion had both and it was fun. One of the biggest mistakes that Skyrim made IMHO, is the lack of underwater combat.

Meh. Doesn't concern me much either way.

Underwater levels svck in games. As a rule. But being able to go under for the occasional chest or whatever would be okay.

And also escort quests. I swear, devs never actually play video games. I don't know anyone that was like "Gee, this underwater and escort content is great! Please add more!"

Edit: Underwater escort quests. A special level of hell.

There's always scope for an underwater expansion at some point. Personally I'd like to see an underworld expansion at some other point too.

Not really bothered, I wouldn't care if they didn't.

I do remember swimming around Daggerfall while looking for materials. I went into this little bay area, and next thing I know, the water starts boiling and my health is getting svcked down. Then I died. The game told me I had gotten the Slaughtered Achievement, what ever that means.

So, if the game is going to put something in the water that will kill or attack me, then it needs to give me a way to fight back.

For PVE... I can go either way. However, for PVP, I'd vote yes. It was not uncommon to fight underwater RvR battles in Dark Age of Camelot around the ocean and bridges. It really added a new perspective that was very disorienting at first. I've only been in beta for 1 weekend so far, so I'm not aware of whether this potential already exists.

My favorite race are Argonians and not being able just to swim underwater where ever I want kinda stinks. If EQ can do it back in 1999, why can't it be done today. I though the underwater places in EQ were fun.

Devs are taking the easy way out with games today. I want underwater exploration please. :) :)

That is just a different way of keeping players in-bounds than an invisible wall. You get "slaughtered" if you go out too far on any of the maps.

I know, I was just taking about what it looked like. I don't think I could have swam away from it when it happened, then again, I did not try.

Which is weird because there was something farther along the coast that was clearly a destination (one of those alter chain things which I guess is the equivalent of a Oblivion Gate)

I tried, you can't swim away. Slaughterfish will not be denied.

LOL...Guild Wars 2. I actually like most of the underwaters stuff probably because Quaggans are my favorite race in the game but some of the missions were tedious.

Oh yes please. They can add water polo later on.:P

Seriously now, i think that underwated combat is a joke and i would not like to see it in any ES game not even in TESO. There are so many other more important thing to add

Adding underwater combat would be a good excuse to finally bring spears back. :) That alone is reason enough.

no friggin way; water is the new hardcoe mode!

aside from that; yes i think it would be interesting with an underwater exploration option,

and it would need you to aquire new items or skills to be able to dive deeper or for any longer time, due to the darkness of the ocean and the need of air for most species-

but i wouldn't mind something like different underwater/ partially flooded areas added, since swimming around in ancient temples or cities is an interesting experience..

I would love it. At the very least when they do a expansion in Black Marsh diving for treasures is a must. SO are spears.
