As team leader of the http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=1062821 project part of my ambitions in the Rimmen project is an UL like landscape surrounding it, something like Chorrol Hinterland. Most of it will be cross border, but an important part is a little 'drainage' river or creek from Rimmen to Lower Niben.

Question to the UL team: would it make sence to set up another UL project at least for the Niben river part? As it will last some time to build the city itself, this won't be finished fast, except I find someone else who is able to do a thing like this. And it will be a small project, compared to most of yours. But I'll do it for sure, and I want something inspired by japanese garden landscapes, as Rimmen was an Akaviri city for a long time. No bamboo, of course, just to show up my ambitions :P.

For the region: south of Bravil Barrowfields, can't tell the exact cell's as I'm at work currently.

Are you requesting a modder do this, or suggesting that you personally would create this UL?

Sorry, I have to apalogize many times, I haven't done my homework before I posted. When I put the cells I was thinking about on the map there where just 2 or 3. Getting the throphy of the smallest UL mod ever isn't my intention :P. The big region is all beyond border, and is much more part of the city than a 'Rimmen Hinterland', so I can't claim to name it an UL mod. But the good news at least for me is that I can do this little river with ease. Just as some nice, relaxing garden work after working on the 'giant pagoda'. Again, sorry, What I can promise is to held up the UL spirit while working on Rimmen ;).

I'm getting major land tears with the anvil coast UL. I tried different load orders, but nothing seems to look normal.

Just so you know...

How do I remove the C.Water tag in the UOP with Wrye Bash? I think this may help.

Open Wrye Bash, click on the Unofficial Oblivion Patch. At the bottom right of the window there is a section that says Bash Tags. Right click in the box, uncheck C.Water, rebuild your bashed patch. Just so you know, this will probably do nothing for your land tears. Post your load order.

Won't help in the slightest, that tag controls water height in cells, not land tears. You've got another mod in our game which edits the same area and conflicts. Track that mod down, then see whether there might already be a compatibility patch for it.

I was wondering if anyone ever made additional areas like the ones connected to Oblivion, all of those are off limit and i would very much like to see the whole landmass. It almost remind me of Daggerfall, and didnt know morrowind was an island.

If they can make SI, should be able to do it on all sides. This been out for four years and no ones ever got thru the projects.

You need to run you load order through BOSS, or read some readme's (better yet, do both!). You have some mods in the wrong order, you have mods loading after your bashed patch. I've heard that the script optimization mod can cause problems and doesn't really help performance anyway. Did you run TES4LODGen after activating your mods?

I do read Readme's, but not all specifically tell you where to place a mod. It's always, "Load it before/after (This one mod)."

Spoiler
I tried BOSS, but couldn't get the jist on how to use it. I clicked on the application it came with, but only a screen pops up for a split second which makes me think it didn't work.
(Nevermind, I finally got it to work.)

Where to place the bashed patch; I had no idea where to put that, so I just left it where it was. Should I put it near the top under the esm's?

Should I get rid of Script Optimization completely then? (........ yes....)

I run TES4LODGen after everytime I add new mods.

Double check that BOSS is installed correctly (did you make sure you had Microsoft? Visual C++ Runtime Library 2008?). To run BOSS you don't use the exe, you are supposed to run the bat file in your Data folder. You can also launch BOSS from Wrye Bash. At the bottom there should be an icon that says BOSS. Click it. Make sure you have the latest version of the BOSS masterlist. As for your bashed patch, no you shouldn't move it up under the ESMs. It should always load at the very end of you load order.

I know what you mean! I base my game around all the UL mods, save one, which doesn't fit with my favorite Imperial City mod.

I proudly present a new member of the UL family: Ddraiggoch06 is working on Kvatch Lowlands!

:: Overview ::
This mod overhauls the barren area North of Kvatch. Sightseers will appreciate the luscious landscape full of forests, waterfalls and rivers, whilst skilled adventurers will be rewarded if they stumble across long lost treasure. Small shrines, lost ruins and traces of the mighty Ayleids dot the landscape, making the area perfect for explorers and adventurers alike.

A new UL?? :D

That's just great! The screens looks amazing!
Good luck with it Ddraiggoch06! ;)

EDIT: Ehm, just one thing: Will it be compatible with Kvatch Rebuilt, without any patch..? We really hope you can make that possible.

Kvatch Rebuilt only adds some new things to the exterior, so it shouldn't be too hard, but I understand if you don't want to be halted because of this, and a patch is always possible. :)
(I guess I'll just test it when you release it; by the way, if you need a beta tester for it, I'm available!)

Depends on whether KR edits the area north of Kvatch. Take a look at the WIPs and Releases cell grid map in the first post of this thread, it will show the expected limits of the new UL. Kvatch itself is a couple of cells further south of the area being edited, so unless KR edits this area which isn't actually all that close to Kvatch, there shouldn't be a problem.

I took a look at the map, and I doubt it will affect it in any way. :)

But after looking at the map, I'm more worried about Snowdale and the upcoming Kvatch Rebuilt: Underground won't be compatible... Well well, time will show :)

Again (For the millionth time), Great work on the ULs! :D
